Bought a house and Gowland and white were the sellers agents. Very good to deal with, good at providing updates and thinking ahead of the process to ensure everything was in place and everyone in the chain was doing their bit. I even received a ‘new home’ gift which was a touch of class! Demi and the girls were really good. Both Stockton and Yarm branches were helpful in the sale, other agents I’ve used don’t seem to talk to each other like Gowland White do. If I ever need to sell I would use Gowland white. Thanks to everyone.

I promised Demi at GW that I would write this review after the help they gave us. Sadly, when we did not pick GW as estate agent for our sale, we made a huge mistake. The chosen agent (MH) procrastinated, fumbled and were generally unhelpful. Communication was shocking. We were so unhappy with that agent, but locked into a long contract, that we went to Demi for advice and help. She was lovely, and we actually had our property jointly listed with two potential viewings within 24 hours. If you're looking for competent, friendly and knowledgeable assistance - look no further than Demi and her lovely team in Stockton. A cut above other agencies in my experience. Thank you all.

Amazing service

After a terrible experience with a previous estate agent I came to Gowland and White highly stressed and hoping for a quick sale so we didn’t lose another house we had put an offer in. Within 48 hours our home was listed with them and they gave us an incentive to use and trust them. The property was sold in less than a fortnight with the first viewer offering full asking price. They were not only helpful in selling the property, but they supported me through the whole process behind the scenes too. Keeping in regular contact, chasing both mine and the buyer’s solicitors for updates and pushing the sale through. They gave me advice throughout and advocated for me. I can’t recommend them enough, nor can I thank them for getting the sale so quickly so we haven’t lost our dream home!

Not all a smooth move

At the beginning of the process all staff were extremely helpful and approachable, however as the sale of the property progressed I think they forgot that I was the client and paying the bill NOT the buyer of the property, moving day and several calls asking when I would be out of the property as it was no longer mine! This was prior to money completing being exchanged and key hand over.

Wonderful, helpful and friendly people. If everyone in the area is as nice as these people then we have choosen a great place to live. Assisted in a relocation from Essex, and unlike many estate agents who wasn't interested in helping us and just never called back after booking a viewing Gowland White went above and beyond even when my 5 hour drive turned into almost closing time for them they were kind enough to wait for me so I didn't have to sleep in a van all night. Fantastic start to finish. Highly recommended.

Stockton Branch - Great service getting my property on the market. Everyone was friendly and professional and kept me updated at all times. They facilitated all viewings because the property was empty and I was fully aware of what was going on at all times. Event when things went quiet I got regular updates with progress and support.
