Chris Parkin was my mortgage broker, really helpful I had been told from another company that I would not be able to get a mortgage, Chris went above and beyond to make it happen. We had issues with the lender taking unnecessary time on some issues Chris chased them everyday and I am now in my lovely new home. I will definitely recommend Chris in the future.

Fast responses, very fair rent and fantastic properties. After having a bad experience with a different estate agent i was refreshingly surprised at how easy it could be and how stress free. If you want a company of people with minimal care for you and the process, who don't do what they tell you they are going to do, and then when you're trying to find out where things are up to, never answer the phone, Bridgfords are the one.

Avoid This Rubbish Terrible companyI was trying to apply mortgage through this TRRRIBLE company, the lady called Katy Gregg mortgage advisor ruined everything, messed up all things . The property I was going to buy didn't work out. They have waste my time and my money which I spend on searches. She was pushing me to buy a property with Bridgford. This is the reason she messed up every thing and I lost the offer was accepted on property. This behaviour is unprofessional and unethical, Dishonesty/ lack of transparency and totally unprofessionalism. Absolute disgusting customer service. Bridgfords Stockport Absolute RUBBISH, They don't deserve even a one star. waste of time, waste of money, DISGUSTING

GoogleAVOID this agent! We only went with Bridgfords after they missold a open house drive to sell our home, however they missed us out of the drive completely. They then refused to let us leave, even though we were well within the cooling off period. They did not include any floorplan at launch, we complained and they eventually uploaded a floorplan for another home, this floorplan had rooms, doors, open plan areas, windows and alcoves that did not exist, while missing doors windows and a porch. They also measured wrong, with a 13 foot room being marketed as a 20 foot room. Even after knowing it was the wrong floor plan, and they were misleading potential buyers, they refused to remove it until we had completed OUR OWN REPLACEMENT!! They promised to keep in touch and provide feedback. They have not once called us, and have failed to provide feedback or a single viewer. We provided the photos, the floorplan, the measurements, had to change the description and even had to instruct them to use tags on Rightmove, they have done absolutely nothing and yet charge over £1000 more than other large agents. We have asked them to remove our home from the market, or at least to remove our intellectual property - the floorplan and the photos we took, however they are still listing our home for sale, using our photos and floorplan even though we do not wish to sell. We now face having to drag this through the courts, and involving the ombudsman. It says it all when a company is so desperate it has to advertise houses that are not for sale, using photos and floorplans that do not belong to them, nor do they have permission to use them. It's also a bit strange how Google reviews greatly differ to trust pilot reviews, where their total ratings have a generous 1 star.

I had a very disappointing experience with [Agency Name]. I initially booked a viewing for a flat that was on sale, only to find out the appointment was cancelled because the flat was sold, and they forgot to inform me.Giving them another chance, I booked a viewing for another property. However, they insisted that I use their mortgage advisor even though I already had one and an Agreement in Principle. When I refused to change my mortgage advisor, they immediately cancelled my viewing appointment. This kind of behaviour is unprofessional and unethical. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.

Illegal practices! Referred to the Property Ombudsman because contract was completed by manager, Tammi, and not ourselves, meaning we incurred hundreds of pounds of additional costs. Additional problems included; no marketing of the property, little, if any, communication. Should have gone to any of the other local estate agents.

GoogleWe were struggling to find somewhere to rent with pets but Bridgfords were really helpful and didn’t make it an issue (which we had with some other letting agents). Everyone we spoke to was really happy and helpful, and Liz and Kate both made sure the whole process went smoothly.

They will call you in and tell you to speak to their mortgage advisor who then tells you that he can get you the property if you sign up with them for £660+ non refundable, he will use their own solicitors too. My wife and I asked what about the other bidders and he said, the vendor won’t see those bids don’t worry. This is completely illegal and we walked away, he then said you are willing to walk away from this deal and get outbid. I said yes I would rather lose out on 20k than give you one penny. It’s kickbacks galore in that place and we know full well we will now not get that property. I would love to speak to the person selling the house but they have moved abroad and left these clowns in charge.

GoogleMy experience with Angela at Bridgfords in Stockport was excellent, her professionalism and hands-on approach to getting things done was second to none. Angela exceeded in her duties in many difficult situations going out of her way to make sure documents and correspondence were dealt with promptly. Angela liased between all parties and solicitors involved (included me and my ex partner who are not speaking). Extremely efficient and well recommended.

GoogleBridgfords Stockport arranged the sale of my property. Throughout the process they were both professional and responsive. I would like to give individual praise to Angela who worked extremely hard, liaising with the buyers, to ensure a successful outcome. The one criticism I have is that the property was initially marketed at too high a price. As a result I got zero viewings until I contacted the branch and requested the price was reduced.
