Howard and the team were great from day 1. In our initial meeting we were given upfront advice and his honest opinion on the sale of our home. Any queries we had during the process was answered promptly and with respect. Second experience in two years and exceeded expectations again

This is our second experience of working with Ellis & Co in just as many years. We had a really good experience the first time when we were purchasing our property through them so we decided to use them for our sale too. Our expectations were high as a result of our initial experience and it’s fair to say that all of the team at the Stanmore branch exceeded expectations the with our sale too. The entire team are professional, extremely responsive (some examples of this include responding to our queries outside of their business hours) and extremely knowledgeable about the entire process from start to finish. Unresponsive and useless

I have rented my property via this agency for many many years and was always happy with their service until recently when it became under new management. The previous owner David was fantastic and always paid rent on time to me and there were never any issues. When I found he sold the office I was tempted to go to another agency but regrettably I stayed with Ellis & Co and they have been nothing but a nightmare ever since. I rarely receive rent on time despite constant calls, they take fees when they feel like it and never return calls. Have had nothing but money taken from me and stressm. I've asked to be put through to the owner several times but never once has he shown any courteousness to call back. When their agency was taken over, I dealt with Dan Vincent who managed to get my trust back with Ellis and Co but I've found out recently he left. When my tenants vacate I will use an alternative agency.

We did not had a great experience with their lettings and property management functions. Though they were thorough with inventory certain basic wear and tears should have been managed by them instead of pushing on the tenants. Overall, the property management team did not address any of the concerns through out the tenure leaving unpleasant experience.

First rate service with a human touch!

I decided to opt for Ellis having considered two other agents who gave me different valuations. What made my mind up was the positivity and optimism right from the outset from the Ellis reps, who immediately recognised the potential in the property and what buyers were looking to do. It wasnt so much flannel but actually seeing the potential, the location etc from my perspective. For me having that validation was incredibly important and reassuring. Throughout and what in the end turned out to be a protracted marketing of the property not helped by Brexit and Covid, I found the service provided by the Ellis team, Howard, Raj and Rakesh to be excellent, genuine and very supportive. Throughout they kept me fully updated on offers, and offered advice without ever being pushy regarding pricing strategy. They continued to review how the property was marketed, fresh pictures, a range of online channels and even suggested alternative sales options, such as the auction route. In the end we persisted...the final price though not reflecting my ideal did nonetheless reflect the challenges of the market, and cost of upgrading the house for any future buyer...so a realistic outcome.Finally, exchange of contracts and completion was handled seamlessly.The commission was well earned in the end....and I am very thankful to the Ellis team for their patience, perseverance and very human (not smarmy at all like some agents) friendly support throughout.

Howard negotiated the sale of our mother's flat and we highly recommend him - his advice was invaluable and we couldn't have done it without him. I have always been sceptical of the value of estate agents and they have a terrible reputation, but Howard was amazing. He was very skillful, knew much better than we did how to go about things, not only from the price and negotiating with the buyers but throughout the whole transaction. He knows exactly how to phrase things and put things to keep everyone happy while at the same time being honest and acting with integrity, which was what we at times really needed with a more complicated sale than normal. I would have no hesitation in using him again - and he's a really nice man as well.
