Hi Claire, I have spent quite some time today investigating your complaint. This stemmed from a simple mistake when a trainee member of staff recorded your email address as ending with .com instead of .co.uk. The error wasn’t realised as obscurely the owner of the .com account replied to an email that we thought had been sent to you. You are welcome to attend our office and I can show you the email server history and the email that was received from the .com account or I can send you copies of the original email and the received response. To clarify nobody has lied to you, everyone at our company has been honest with you but a young trainee made a simple mistake and she is upset that her error led to such an attack on the integrity of our staff from you and members of your family. I wish you every success in finding a suitable property and can confirm that we have now removed you from our database so that you do not receive any unsolicited emails. Thanks Louise
