I really appreciate the way they efficiently booked viewings, chased up feedback and once I did get an offer, made sure all parties in the chain were doing their bit. I have no hesitation in recommending them, and wish more Wigan estate agents were like them

FacebookAs a buyer I found this estate agents terrible. Communication was dire with them rarely answering phones and not replying to voicemails for hours. After putting an offer in on a property, I would have to call them to hear if it was accepted or rejected - leaving me for 5 days on my first offer. Never asked if I would like to raise my offer even when there where several people making offers on the same property. So the seller may not have got the highest possible price. They also never asked what my position was e.g . if I was a cash buyer or in a chain. As a buyer I found the service terrible and would never recommend or use them in a sale.
Hi Rachel Sarah, I am so sorry that you were disappointed. You are correct in that we can’t always answer voicemails straight away, as much of the time we are trying to get answers to questions that we have been asked. This sometimes takes longer than people would like, most typically because the seller isn’t available to us to talk to, however, we always ring back once we have the information. Likewise, we must await instruction from the seller before we can give you feedback and if the seller wants to take some time to consider offers then the feedback can take some time to gather, but we always get back to you once we have that feedback. Sometimes the seller makes a decision to sell to a particular buyer regardless of what other offers they have received, because they particularly like the buyers, or the position that the buyers are in appeals to the seller or they feel that the offer that they have received won’t be bettered as it is substantially greater than offers already received. Regardless of the reason the seller has the final say and as we work for the seller, we will of course respect and carry out their instruction to us. One point I will make is that for us to arrange for you to view a property we will register your details first and one of the questions we ask is what position you are in. I obviously can’t go into detail in a public forum but please feel free to message me directly and I will advise what details we hold on file regarding your position.

FacebookWe sold a house through Breakey & Co Estate Agents and they were outstanding. They kept us informed throughout the process which went very smoothly. The property was being sold after the death of a relative and I feel we were handled with understanding for our situation. We have since had dealings with many other estate agents as we are looking to buy another property. Not all estate agents are equal! Without a doubt we will use Breakey & Co to sell our next property. I would like to mention Alison Melling for the way she handled our sale through a difficult time but all the girls we had contact with were friendly and professional.

A company that goes above and beyond to look after it's sellers and its buyers as we a currently purchasing a house being sold by you too. We experienced a long process selling house 1 due to issues at the lower end of the chain but Breakey made every effort to chase others up and get things moving amazing service I honestly don't think we would use anyone else and I'd highly recommend anyone I know to use you as thier agents. 5* from us.

Facebook5**** I had my house up for sale with a different estate agent at first and wasn’t happy with there service so I moved my sale to Breakey & co and I am so glad I did. The girls are always updating chasing and are always in contact keeping you in the loop. I 100% would recommend and go with this EA again if was to sell my home. Thanks very much
