Very Good at getting viewers and buyers. But the back office administration team is poor they found me a buyer. I was informed at the start of the sale back at the end of January that the buyer had purchased several properties from you and was a cash buyer and that it should go through quickly. We are now in May and it has only just completed. The buyer of course was not a cash buyer but had a mortgage. Despite this I have not received any feedback from your company as the sale progressed. No information regarding the current position or any updates from their solicitor. I have made endless phone calls initiating contact attempting to find out why this process was taking so long. Even at the end of the process every time I rang your staff simply mentioned the issue of the extra land at the rear of the property. This issue was addressed by my solicitor with a statutory declaration of adverse possession of land. Including a standard Insurance policy for legal expenses. This was completed in 3 hours yet your staff seemed unable to understand the basic principles of law or conveyance involved. In this process You advised me that we were near completion when in fact we were not and I asked the tenant to leave for vacant possession. We were still 7 weeks from completion giving me a months loss in rent and the need to pay 2 months council tax. I will of course not be using your company to sell the other houses in my portfolio and will be leaving feedback online for other sellers to view.

I had a very pleasant experience of buying a property through Home Estate Agents, although it was a often a very busy period when I would be calling/emailing the team I would always get a quick response to resolve my queries from viewing the property to going into branch to collect the keys. If the staff had not kept a record of previously interested clients when our house sale fell thru( with a different- shared agent!) we might not have got a sale. We have used them 3 times and would recommend without hesitation.

I have never known a company like this ! I wouldn't even rate as 1 star if I didn't have to. It was like they were working for our buyers not us selling. I was hassled by phone calls as our buyer wanted to know what was going on (as did we) then asked to ring round chasing other estate agents and solicitors...I'm sure that was what I was paying them to do, each time telling them the whole process was making me ill and I couldn't cope any longer. Then last minute on a Friday night I got an email from our solicitor telling us it had all fell through...not even a courtesy call from home to let us know, then left for a whole weekend upset not knowing what was happening. I would NOT recommend home estates to anyone...stay clear !!! A bad experience and a wasted 5 months.

Great service from valuation to completion of sale, the staff in the Stalybridge office couldn't do enough to make the sale go smoothly and as stress free as possible, nothing was to much trouble. Home Stalybridge were also the agent's for the purchase of our new home, and again first class service we cannot recommend them enough. Professional friendly service.

We had a very difficult experience moving due to COVID-19, conveyances, ect however Home was always at the end of the phone or quick to respond to emails trying to help get us to the end result and the amazing family home we now have. Not going to lie I hope never to move again but if we do we’ll definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone!!

I have to say we have been overall very pleased with the service provided by Home Estate Agents with two property sales and completions, particularly as our second took 3 attempts and a few years to actually happen. Positives: You had patience and understanding during our ordeal, and we were very grateful for that. Negatives: During both sales sometimes there were times when a little more communication would have gone a long way, particularly as we were very worried throughout. However, I do appreciate that these were times of unprecedented busyness for Estate Agents, especially one as successful as yours. Thank you to all the team for getting us through it with two properties - I will say that having gone through such an ordeal during a particularly busy and challenging time, we will both be staying put. 😂

Sold with home 9 months ago and still haven’t moved! Our buyer used their mortgage advisor and both the advisor and the estate agents itself have absolutely no urgency about them to get anything pushed through! They Market homes on Rightmove, offer 3D floor plans and Video tours, which really sets them apart from the competition.
