Many thanks to the Team, especially Jade and Wendy who were great at communicating with me and keeping me up to date as a Home Buyer, as well as liaising with the seller on my behalf and coming back to me quickly. I don't remember the name of the gentleman who showed me around the property at the viewing but he was great too, really friendly and gave me enough time to check what I needed to. If I ever have the need again, I'll gladly use Home and happily recommend them to others!

I found out about Homes estate Agents and was recommended to get a valuation of my Mums property. By my friends Pam and Ronnie who had previously Sold their properties and bought their latest through Homes. They told me that I could expect a professional service from Evaluation to Completion. This I’ve found to be true. The agents and reception team have been both friendly and helpful and kept us updated with every step. Also very understanding about my difficulties getting my Photo Driving License to replace my old paper. Thank You to All the team who were involved 🙏🙏👍

Started really well but didn't last long

Following failed negotiations where the sellers refused to reduce the price once necessary work was highlighted by our survey, the agents relisted the property for £5k more, despite our survey showing over £8.5k of essential work was needed. Even after we pointed out (with evidence from the property information forms) that the boiler and rewire were advertised as being done almost five years later than they actually were, the listing was never corrected. Very misleading and not a buyer‑friendly experience at all.

Would definitely recommend John and the team at Home EA. Nothing was too much trouble, we were previously listed with another agent for just over two months but sold within 1 week of being listed with HomeEA. The team kept in touch throughout the sales process where necessary and were always available to reach via telephone or email. We recently completed our sale. John is an extremely amiable person and takes excellent photographs. The end result on the website was excellent. Throughout all processes Wendy and Dionne did their upmost to ensure we were well informed and were dedicated in their pursuit of ensuring we had replies from solicitors - they certainly kept them on their toes! We put our house on the market with Home estates in September 19. The pictures and advertising work was excellent. Had 8 viewers in 1 day and sold the house quickly for full asking price. Everyone at Home Estates were very helpful especially Sarah, Wendy, Nicky and Emily. The last few weeks of the sale and purchase of our new home were very stressful due to issues out of Home Estates control. The ladies always had time to speak to me even when i was totally stressed out and unable to get in touch with the solictors. They all helped in any way that they could. We finally moved on 17th December and i think without home estate chasing and pushing everything through this would not have been possible. Although i have promised myself I am never moving again, I would have no hesitation in recommending home estates and using them again

Deliberately misleading sales pitch. Promises of massive internet viewings (via Facebook!) and use of a local solicitor. Local solicitor doesn’t actually do anything: you sign the contract and then get Kirkhams in Royton - hardly local - who do not have the capacity to do the work and even then it’s all via post so it’s painfully slow. NO legal service in Stalybridge (despite HOMEs response) and when we complained, we were told to go elsewhere. Very expensive for the poor service provided as John said the property was so good it would sell itself. Which it did, in a couple of days, to a neighbour.
