I recently had the unfortunate experience of working with Martin and Co, and I must say it was one of the most frustrating and disappointing encounters I've had in the real estate industry. From start to finish, the entire process was marred by incompetence and a complete lack of professionalism. Firstly, communication with Martin and Co was abysmal. Furthermore, their lack of attention to detail was evident throughout the entire transaction. From incorrect paperwork to missed deadlines, it was clear that the Martin &Co was either careless or inexperienced. This lack of professionalism only added unnecessary stress and complications to an already complex process. To make matters worse, the Martin &Co seemed more interested in their own commission rather than prioritizing my needs as a client. Overall, my experience with the Martin &Co was nothing short of a nightmare. Their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disregard for my needs as a client left me feeling frustrated and deceived. I strongly advise anyone considering working with this agency to look elsewhere for a more reliable and competent estate agent.

Doreen Rose, the new owner as of 1st May 2021, has turned everything around at Martin and Co. Staines! I’ve been renting through this location for over a year and felt largely ignored by the estate agents before her management. Previously, communication was difficult and non-responsive, maintenance requests were ignored or getting them actioned required constant prodding on my part, and I was at one time without a boiler and hot water for more than two weeks. The previous management did not care. Doreen’s management has changed ALL of this! She stays in contact and keeps communication open, clear, and timely. Maintenance requests are acknowledged within an hour and she follows up by the end of the day to ensure I am informed with what actions are being taken. I now feel valued as a tenant! Doreen’s management shows that she cares about providing excellent service and a wonderful experience for her clients. I had a lovely experience with the Staines branch moving into my new flat. Everything was handled by Jolene who was incredibly professional and easy to talk to. She sorted everything out for me and was incredibly quick to respond to any questions I had. At all points she was very clear with the information she needed from me and was able to explain the process clearly. When it came moving day, we were actually running rather late, but Jolene was on hand to help and calm us down. New management has changed everything!

I’ve been renting for Martin and Co. for over a year now. Prior to May 2021, communicating and working with the estate agents was a real challenge with emergency maintenance needs being unresolved for weeks, no communication, no follow up, having to send emails and make calls frequently in hopes of getting a reply, and lack of documentation. However, Doreen Rose took over ownership and management on 1st May 2021 and things have improved 100%! Communication is consistent, clear, and timely. Maintenance requests are acknowledged usually within an hour, and follow up/informative emails are sent by the end of the business day. Doreen obviously cares about giving her clients exceptional service and has been very conscientious and attentive, making me feel, for the first time, valued as a tenant. I’m now exceptionally happy to be renting through Martin and Co.!

I have been a landlord with Martin & Co for several years now and have always been happy with the fully managed service they provide. Recently I have dealt with Dan who helped me understand a plumbing issue and made me feel totally confident that the contractor he recommended wouldn't over charge and the work would be thoroughly checked over before the work was paid for. I was surprised that any estate agent would have this kind of maintenance knowledge and since found out he was previously a contractor himself. Dan, Lynn and in the past Skye and Maria are a credit to the office and I'd recommend them to anyone.
