Money money money obsessed

Avoid at all costs, they will be pleasant and helpful at first to get your money then once it’s time to move out they will rip you off. Money obsessed and unprofessional can’t even keep accurate records of works and inspections from gas engineers or plumbers. Was with them 2 years renting, they had no problems whatsoever with me, paid on time every month, looked after property, had inspections from them every 6 months well sometimes. They had no issues always said house was very well looked after. Come to moving out and they will do there best to keep your deposit. Poor excuses, poor management, manager sending unprofessional messages with no compassion at all. Just really shocking service, I’m a very reasonable human being but with these they have left me feeling frustrated and depressed. Stay well clear definitely the worst agents I have ever dealt with.

Trying to keep deposit money, manager with unprofessional emails, manager actually wrote me an email saying in red with her very short and unfriendly remarks, absolutely shocked when I read it. Absolutely no loyalty or compassion just money money money. STAY CLEAR worst estate agents in Stafford. Can’t even keep their records up to date with who comes to property to check on works etc. So you have to find proof yourself.

Excellent service, rented my property very quickly and kept us in the loop throughout the process. Went the extra mile when a door lock broke as they were checking my tenants in, repairman was there within an hour and Jodi stayed with the tenants until it was sorted. Would highly recommend.

"Avoid!..."

AVOID martin & co stafford. 2.5yrs lived in this property, been waiting for a council property for around 1.5 years, offered somewhere and I asked if they could deduct the remaining rent from deposit for them to send a reference off (made me pay £20 for) to the housing association that offered the 3 bed home to me as I'm overcrowded with me, 2 boys and my daughter in this 2 bedroom saying I owe the money and they wont deduct from out deposit we have with them. We paid to have brand new carpet put down in the living room costing around £240 as it was chipped laminate. Reported 7 repairs 8months ago, roof leaking/boiler leaking being 2 of them but nothing. So I paid £20 for a 'bad' reference so I have now lost the property I was offered for me and my 3 children. The house is in brilliant condition, I've always looked after my homes I've lived in, I'm absolutely livid with them!

Coming from Australia and having many experiences with real estates this one has been the most upsetting for me and my family as I had reported several issues from a shower not working to a window not closing and it took months and months for them to sort it and after I had constantly chased them up for updates for this I guess the relationship between us became sour and so when they found out I had a family friend staying over for Christmas they served me with a notice of eviction with out asking me for my side of the story I sent them an email explaining it was just a friend that was staying with me temporary but they still alleged that I was subletting which is crazy considering he didn't even live in the country and was leaving on the 14th of January still they said the landlord wanting me out after what i would suggest a different version had been told to them plus I was interested in buying the property so it would of been in the best interests for the owner to have had me living there incase they wanted to sell but yet they still evicted me instead so for anyone who is thinking of renting or having any dealings with this real estate I would strongly recommend going else where and if anyone wants to see the emails that I sent them from chasing them up for updates for jobs to pleading with them regarding my friend staying please inbox me

"what a shambles they failed..."

what a shambles they failed to collect rent. u fill a form in to say no pets or smokers an what do u find cat hairs everywhere fag burns all over carpets. the tenant cut kitchen cuboards in half decorated the house as they pleased.not in a good way maybe they weredrunk when they did it. I would never use a letting agent again. if someone can tell why we pay them cos I have not got a clue
