Been in our ashbury/bellway home moreton, for 20 months , had a handful of minor problems, which were handled efficiently with communication from Emma and the team at northwest customer care at every stage, tradesmen who can communicate on a level you understand, that's the key , communication, everyone's expectations and experiences are different as are reviews.

The house that we have purchased

The house that we have purchased, is the three bedroomed detached Oatland, show house.The quality of the finish in all the rooms' is exceptional. My wife, and I have, looked at various new developments over the past few months',some good, some not so good, but 'Ashberry Homes', are in our opinion the best. Even the overall layout of the development has been given some serious thought. There is no really narrow roads, (that some developers use to cram more dwellings onto their sites.) This contributes to the whole development feeling very spacious.Kind regards,Martin

Shirley at Elizabeth Gardens Rochford

We met with Shirley at Elizabeth Gardens Mid March 2021, under the strict appointment system due to the covid restrictions. Shirley was fantastic and talked us through the whole process. Assisted move and the reservation process was clearly explained. Shirly was honest and transparent right up to our reservation. We have now finally reserved our dream home with Ashberry on Elizabeth Gardens. This would not have been possible without the help and support of both Shirley ( Ashberry Homes) and Jamie from Assisted Move. Outstanding service. We are now looking forward to choosing the internal finishes for when our new home is complete.Many thanks Shirly and Jamie, you made us feel important and showed genuine care throughout the process.

Overall very poor

Sales process: Really poor communication and sales process overall. Often taking multiple calls/emails to obtain the correct information. Lazy contracts, typos, simply crossing out someone else's name (our neighbours) and pencil writing ours in, multiple missing reference documents. Refusal to acknowledge there is a "snag list" or any form of snagging process despite them previously mentioning it (I've never heard the term before so I'd only have picked it up from them). Everything was a battleHouse: Once initial snags were fixed, scratched handles, doors catching/rubbing the floor, broken thermostat (nothing major) all was fine for a while. Cracking, as expected, was fixed 1.5 years after house built with no issues. Within a year doors were not hanging straight, plug sockets (barely used) were coming loose, cooker fan we discovered was bodged with masking tape and nail pops were common. Garden was full of large rubble, solid bricks, whole packs of tiles, basically the site tip The site completion date came and went, appreciate things may be out of their control on this one but worth noting These are budget houses, it shows, you can hear everything your neighbours do. Might not bother you, its just not what I expected from a house built so recentlySimply put, I will never entertain the idea of having another new house with this company. Glad we moved out!

Non existent customer care . Sales ok

Having viewed our house after Xmas we were pushed all the way along to complete ASAP. This was achieved end of March , despite lockdown, despite our reservations of moving our family we were chased up to two times a day and given no flexibility, we would move during lockdown whether we wanted to or not ! In the month before moving in standards of work slipped drastically, flooring protection etc had been removed , QA checks disappeared leading to the day we moved in. Which was to a dirty house with none of the promised instructions. After Care from Customer Care has become No Care , no plans re snag lists , no 3 , 7 or 10 day , a toilet that we can’t use , a lawn that we paid extra for that we’ve never seen the likes of , and dirty carpets and flooring that we also were charged for . Whilst we love our house , the lack of customer care , plans have tarnished that . The attitude of Customer care is they have carte Blanche to do nothing and blame COVID 19 . Correspondence is off hand with no understanding this is our home , care and customer are not appropriate words. Hopefully the issues will be managed as we move out of the current situation with the virus , but so far I would not recommend moving into a Bellway/ Ashberry house at the current time.

Rude Salesperson

We liked a house at Ashberry homes Chellaston Fold ( Derby) and went to reserve the house today. The sales person Michael came across as a rude and unprofessional. We started to discuss about offers and incentives, rather than listening to us , he just started quoting a low figure and kept repeating even before we could finish our sentences and the also said that he aleady has 2 buyers lined up for the house, kind of "take it or leave it attitude" which I found insulting. And when we started to leave he offered talking to his senior about whether anything more can be considered.Ashberry homes - Just as you have many buyers out there, there are many developers in the market too which perhaps your sales team should also know before they quote any prospective buyer about how busy their new development is and how many other customers are waiting desperately for your houses.

Very impressed with Ashberry, Nilesh and George...

Bought a home from this goup over the summer. Nilesh was our first point of contact and guided us through the entire process very well. We had some concerns about buying a new build, however, we have been extremely pleased with the level of service we have recieved. George the site manager has checked up to see we are happy with everything and any minor snagging issues have been resolved extremely promptly. I can geniunely recommend this group to new buyers or people moving home.

Well planned and laid out estate

Moorfields is a very well planned and laid out estate. There are numerous grassed, tree and shrub planted areas as well as small pond areas which gives the estate an open country feel. Tania in the sales office was extremely helpful and took us step by step through exactly what we were purchasing. Can't wait to move in !!

We have recently purchased our first new build house, and we are very happy with our decision to buy from Ashberry!We've had our eyes on the house type for a few years, and were fortunate to get one reserved on a site in the area we wanted!From reservation day, Rob our sales advisor has been brilliant, chasing solicitors and making sure everything goes through smoothly. Once we moved in Rob and Keith, the senior site manager, were round regularly to check everything was working and we were settling in well.Dip, the assistant site manager, has been wonderful, going above and beyond to get any small snags we've had resolved, and making sure we're happy! (Honestly there has been nothing major, just the odd cosmetic touch up).The team at The Wickets have been fab, would highly recommend!
