We would like to say a huge thank you to Colin Chapman for being so fantastic over the last few weeks and being instrumental in making a very difficult exchange happen. Colin was not even our estate agent, however we had more regular contact and updates from him than anyone else in the process. We always felt able to approach Colin with our queries and concerns and he took the time to talk at length with us to address these before taking appropriate actions to resolve them. Colin cared about everyone's personal circumstances and worked with us and the chain to ensure that we were all satisfied. Colin did not shy away from having difficult conversations with extremely slow movers within the chain, which had the impact to potentially leave others without accommodation (where renting) and without work. We wanted to move from a rental property outside the area to Grafham and, having made the decision, we wanted to move quickly. Nothing phased Colin, Lisa and Alfie - it was all done and dusted within a month. The service was exceptional, helpful, cheerful and enthusiastic. The jewel in St Neots Estate Agent crown, Annafield Estates are head and shoulders above the rest. From the first meeting I knew they meant business!! They did what they said they would do and were very realistic in how to market the property. They got people through the door and other Estate agents in St Neots were a total let down. I purchased my property through Annafield Estates and the customer service they provided is what you want from estate agent and more. Keeley showed us around the property and let us visit the property on several occasions throughout the purchase. The seller had issues with their solicitor which caused a slight delay and due to this Colin contacted the new solicitor and between them both they went above and beyond to get everything back on track. Throughout the process Colin and Emma were chasing solicitors and communicating with the agents throughout the chain to ensure the purchase was progressing and constantly updating me. This relieved the stress from myself as I did not need to chase my solicitor. This communication is exactly what you want from an Agent. The house sale completed in 3 months during covid lockdown which was down to the responsiveness and excellent communication. Met with Colin, after my property became empty. Decided to use him because his company had only just started, I thought his fees were fair, Colin explained how their process would work from start to finish. He told me what works were needed at the house to get it ready to relet. He helped coordinate the works required, again the contractors costs where fair and reasonable. No sooner was the work done received a phone call informing me that he has found a suitable tenant. It all went extremely smoothly and today my tenant has moved in and I have received my rent payment. Really pleased that I made the decision to use Annafield and to anyone considering which agent they should use, I fully recommend Colin & James, very friendly, down to earth people that had given me a very good service. My Partner and I were extremely satisfied with the service which we received through Annafield Estates. The process was simple, quick however not rushed or pressured into anything. We have gone through many estate agents, and this is the only one we feel have the customers needs as their number 1 priority. Put us under overwhelming time pressure to provide proof of funds, then for circumstances outside our control we lost the house we wanted. The response? ‘Stay positive’ followed by a sales pitch. Will avoid in future. EDIT: Your reply missed the point. My frustration with you is you turned a situation when we were at a low ebb into a sales pitch. ‘Stay positive’ is not what people want to hear when they are upset. Having a dig at another agent is also poor practice.

Left a holding fee down on a property and within a week they had rented and gave the property to another person and refunded my money. Did not make me aware or even let me finish my application. Overall just bad communication and dishonest. Why leave a holding fee if its still going to be offered. In reply: I did not mislead you, I gave you an accurate figure of my wage through comission and basic, you just used basic which was not informed to me until after I filled in the application. Also you asked me for an application for a guarantor, which was in process of getting filled in when you announced the property was let to somebody else. So if you want to talk about being mislead then you are the ones who do that and should make everything clear before the process. Regards Zack.
