NO REGARD FOR PEOPLES TIME

Made an appointment for rental and 35 minutes before the appointment was told that they had taken a deposit and that they were cancelling the appointment. Complete disregard for anyone's time energy to get to the appointment. Was given a poor excuse when I said why could they not have waited 1 hour to show us the property saying the landlord what not so keen as we had dogs. This was disclosed at the point of booking so why take the appointment in the first place. Needless to say with people who have such poor regard for others WONT be using them again. Vote with your feet so people change their work ethics.

Graham was a pleasure to deal with and after not getting a viewing the previous weekend on a house he organised a Friday evening viewing. We loved the house, made an offer ( saved 20 viewings from happening the next day ) as the offer was excepted. It certainly made up for the disappointment the week before and on balance it was for the best. Being new to St Albans he recommended a conveyancer. Graham and his team smoothed over a few hiccups but made the whole experience as seem less as possible.

House move

We cannot recommend Cassidy and Tate highly enough during our recent house move. To move during the pandemic, was quite stressful, but Kris Bartos led us through the whole thing; his many years of experience really helped, from the initial marketing, through to viewing and securing a sale. Kris and the whole Cassidy and Tate team were outstanding and kept us informed throughout. The pandemic made things difficult with Solicitors and removal companies and although we were in a small chain it proved difficult to actually finalise the sale. Throughout this tricky period, Kris and his team were there to help and certainly the ultimate completion would not have happened without his considerable expertise.

True professionals working hard to get you the best sale!

Interestingly when we first approached agents regarding the sale of our property Cassidy were not who we thought would be our final choice, then Graham turned up on the doorstep! He is knowledgeable, professional and gave us the extra confidence we needed to progress. They were the gift that kept on giving as then the lovely Hannah took over with the viewings taking a huge stress from us. She took the time to listen and could answer vendors queries as if she had lived there herself. Siobhan is then the icing who is truly professional with her continuous updates and keeping us involved in things happening on other sides of the chain. Nothing was ever too much trouble - it is a no brainer!

Which agency would you choose ?

My wife & I have returned to live in UK after 23 years of living in Spain. We had an offer accepted to purchase , as cash buyers, an empty apartment in Saint Albans. The agents were NOT Cassidy & Tate. One would have thought that this would have been a fairly simple and quick transaction ! After waiting more than 7 months for completion we decided enough was enough and withdrew our offer. We then made an offer for another empty apartment, as cash buyers, this time the Agents being Cassidy & Tate. Having listened to our tale of woe regarding our previous attempt to purchase they were determined to get us " Over the Line " as quickly as possible. This they achieved within 10 weeks. It would have been even quicker had solicitors have been just a little less pedantic over 1 small item. 2 main players within Cassidy & Tate were Kris & Siobhan who provided knowledge & assistance at all times. We had a positive experience selling our house through Cassidy and Tate. We met agents from 2 different companies before them and also dealt with a third estate agent up the chain who we were buying from, and I would struggle to find a good word to say about any of them. Cassidy and Tate on the other hand, and Duncan who we dealt with, were very professional and helpful throughout. Duncan found us a cash buyer at asking price before the property had even been listed, and was very useful and supportive during some issues in the chain later on. This was followed up by a very personal service by our assigned agent, in this instance Ricky Veale. A pleasant change...

I rented a property through Cassidy and Tate 6 months ago and I would thoroughly recommend them. Our journey with Cassidy and Tate began when we viewed a property in our local area they were marketing. It was upon deciding to put in an offer that it made perfect sense to market our property through Cassidy and Tate. In essence we had experience of the purchaser and vendor. As with most local people they were not an agent that was known in our area. Duncan Cohen was our point of contact throughout the process. He was always helpful, polite and listened to our suggestions. Our property was marketed to a high standard with great thought and detail. The use of a professional photographer for the property was excellent and showed the house in its true light. For a number of reasons we lost our initial buyer and the property we were purchasing however we remained to market our property. As it happened another house came back on the market on the same road we were looking. In that one week we had a new buyer and an offer accepted on a forwarding property. It took a while to get there however Cassidy and Tate stuck with us all the way. We would without hesitation recommend their services to any homeowners looking to sell. Great experience selling and purchasing…

Great experience selling and purchasing my house. From start to finish it was a pleasant experience, which is a massive compliment to the Team at Cassidy & Tate given this should be one of the most stressful processes in life. After finding a property listed on Cassidy & Tate and getting an offer accepted, I employed Cassidy & Tate to sell my apartment. I dealt with Duncan in the team who came across very professional, likeable and knowledgeable, which was a refreshing change having dealt with other estate agents in the past. I was happy to know that Duncan would be the one hosting interested buyers. Pictures were taken of my property promptly, which turned out lovely and within a week my property was on the market. My property was only on the market for a couple of days (with only 1 day of viewings) when Duncan telephoned me to tell me I had received an offer above asking price. So within one week, I had my offer accepted on a house and another accepted on mine. Paige in the team then managed both transactions and I never felt like I had to chase her. The rest was history, I came out of it with a lot of positivity which Is unusual from some of the horror stories I hear with other estate management firms. Cant give enough praise to Duncan and the team, I will definitely be using them in the future.

When we chose Cassidy and Tate we did extensive research across the six main agents in the area. We researched previous sales, quality of marketing and met with each team to understand how they would market our house. On the combination of these factors we could see that Cassidy and Tate were our preferred choice by some margin. They understand that vendors are skeptical given the unfortunate stereotype that has evolved within this industry and go out of their way to work exceptionally hard whilst showing integrity throughout their service. Additionally we would like to point out the exceptional service that we have received from Duncan. On top of the job well done to secure an offer, Duncan worked long hours for us over many weeks between the offer being accepted and getting to exchange. He was extremely professional and polite throughout. What impressed us most was his ability to always get a response on the same day and if not the next morning. He left nothing to chance, was extremely diligent to cover all questions and actions and went out of his way to understand the full complexity of the chain we were in. Furthermore went beyond the call of duty to help us with difficult questions regarding changes in the environmental searches regarding land contamination. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cassidy and Tate; they are simply in a different league.
