As a former tenant who has rented via a number of lettings agents over the years I have to say the team at Cassidy and Tate have got the implementation of their customer journey absolutely right. Stephen, Louise, Josh and particularly Gemma made the whole experience very professional and were always on hand to assist and the check out process was very smooth. If you are a tenant looking to rent your first home or a landlord looking to employ the best in the business then speak to Mark who will look after you from the start and make a sometimes difficult process very easy. Highly recommended. Well done.

Duncan from Cassidy and Tate and indeed the whole team were so supportive from the outset up until the completion date. Our purchase was really complicated, and Duncan was available at every stage to provide me with the options, engage the vendors and negotiate on our behalf where needed. He was always honest and kept us up to date with everything, all the time. This made what was essentially a really stressful period for me, super smooth. Totally recommend this team.

The vendor was particularly difficult but she used her magic to manage his expectations which eventually led to a successful purchase for me. Hannah was very knowledgeable and went out of her way to help with contractors and access. She made the process very smooth. I wish all my purchases had her involvement. GoogleWhen we were looking for a rental property in St Albans, we contacted 5 different estate agents, and had varying degrees of success. When it came to dealing with Cassidy and Tate and specifically Michaela, they provided a much better service than any of the other estate agents, she went above and beyond to find me and my partner a property that suited us. I honestly can't speak highly enough of Michaela, she was always quick and clear in her communication and even put in a good word for us with the landlord to help secure us the right deal on the property. If you're looking for a property in St Albans, don't look any further than Cassidy and Tate, they are absolutely outstanding! We sold our house and bought our new house through Cassidy & Tate and Kris and Nick made what was a relatively tricky chain a seamless transition. I was originally purchasing another house through another local agent who I shan't name but were absolutely appalling so it was a breath of fresh air to work with Kris, Nick and the Cassidy & Tate team on the new house which they worked tirelessly to get through. They were responsive, even when on holiday, efficient, effective and organised. Not sure I'd go to any other agent going forward.

In trying to identify a suitable property to purchase, I received invaluable advice in terms of current market outlook and trends, as well as, advice on a good fit. We have finally completed on our purchase with the help of the selling Agent. Yes the selling agent. Duncan from Cassidy and Tate was so helpful and professional. Always ready to help and went far and beyond to help all parties involved. Liasing with myself and the buyer as well as my solicitor. All happy to take his call and make a call to him, as he is such a helpful and friendly person. He never made me feel that I was taking too much of his time. Eventually when I come to sell hopefully not for a few years yet. I will hunt him down to act for us. An asset to his company. As a mortgage advisor I have contacted many estate agents. Duncan is by far the best to work with.

If there is a 0 star, I would choose that. I dealt with their St Albans branch. We rented one of the properties they advertised. We occupied the property for 3 years, had a good relationship with landlord, but notice was sent due to few issues. When tenancy ended, we had been chasing for the house deposit but our request was ignored. All issues were settled with landlord since February 26 2025 and Stephen Maylon only released the deposit March 28 2025. He is very poor in communication and not replying to emails. He only released the deposit when I called their office and asked for the email to where to send my complaint to, as it is not indicated on their website.

Graham was very professional and dedicated to getting our transaction across the line despite a series of difficult challenges and time pressures with our chain. It is always a pleasure to deal with Annette and Stephen, who always respond to our requests in a professional and timely manner, regardless of the nature of the request. From the replacement of sash windows, to sourcing painters or arranging for the replacement of boilers or fridges. As we have always said, Cassidy & Tate St Albans is no ordinary property manager and that, at least from our experience, is in large part due to the efforts of Annette and Stephen.

Made an appointment for rental and 35 minutes before the appointment was told that they had taken a deposit and that they were cancelling the appointment. Complete disregard for anyone's time energy to get to the appointment. Was given a poor excuse when I said why could they not have waited 1 hour to show us the property saying the landlord what not so keen as we had dogs. This was disclosed at the point of booking so why take the appointment in the first place. Needless to say with people who have such poor regard for others WONT be using them again. Vote with your feet so people change their work ethics.
Thank you for your feedback. The landlord accepted an offer and the conditions of that offer were all other viewing are to be cancelled. We contacted you at the earliest stage to advise of this as it would be unfair to other parties if we continued to show the property once an offer had been accepted. I know it must have been frustrating and i am sorry for you inconvenience.

Graham was a pleasure to deal with and after not getting a viewing the previous weekend on a house he organised a Friday evening viewing. We loved the house, made an offer ( saved 20 viewings from happening the next day ) as the offer was excepted. It certainly made up for the disappointment the week before and on balance it was for the best. Being new to St Albans he recommended a conveyancer. Graham and his team smoothed over a few hiccups but made the whole experience as seem less as possible.

We cannot recommend Cassidy and Tate highly enough during our recent house move. To move during the pandemic, was quite stressful, but Kris Bartos led us through the whole thing; his many years of experience really helped, from the initial marketing, through to viewing and securing a sale. Kris and the whole Cassidy and Tate team were outstanding and kept us informed throughout. The pandemic made things difficult with Solicitors and removal companies and although we were in a small chain it proved difficult to actually finalise the sale. Throughout this tricky period, Kris and his team were there to help and certainly the ultimate completion would not have happened without his considerable expertise.

Interestingly when we first approached agents regarding the sale of our property Cassidy were not who we thought would be our final choice, then Graham turned up on the doorstep! He is knowledgeable, professional and gave us the extra confidence we needed to progress. They were the gift that kept on giving as then the lovely Hannah took over with the viewings taking a huge stress from us. She took the time to listen and could answer vendors queries as if she had lived there herself. Siobhan is then the icing who is truly professional with her continuous updates and keeping us involved in things happening on other sides of the chain. Nothing was ever too much trouble - it is a no brainer!
