Opening in July 2019, Parkers in Spencers Wood is an independently owned franchise serving Spencers Wood, Three Mile Cross, Shinfield, Arborfield, Risely, Swallowfield, Grazeley, Farley Hill and Eversley areas. Our management team consists of the four local industry experts, Sion, Ben, Dale and Bruce who have over 110 years of combined estate agency experience. Working directly in the office is Ben Mitchell and Dale Kempson both of them are business owners. Dale has lived in the village of Spencers Wood for over 30 years, and has a wealth of experience in property sales. He has been working as an estate agent within the Reading and surrounding areas for over 40 years. Alongside Dale is Ben Mitchell who brings another 20+ years' experience in both sales and lettings. Ben grew up in Arborfield and knows the entire area intimately, having been a local estate agent in the area since 1998. Our main areas of business are residential sales, lettings, property management, as well as financial services via our independent mortgage advisors. The office is located on the Basingstoke Road in Spencers Wood, allowing us to be within easy reach of all the local villages we serve. GoogleI cannot express enough how much help and assistance they gave all though out. Ben was great, communication excellent and managed viewings to a top degree. Dale was awesome and without him and the support team we would not have got over the finishing line. Dales dedication to assist was top drawer as this was not an easy transaction with 2 house sales to purchase one! Alison supporting was always on hand for feedback and excellent communication. GoogleGreat experience with the team in Spencers Wood. Ben mitchell came round to see me initially his energy and positive attitude meant that I was more than happy to place my property with him. They managed to secure a buyer on the house within a couple of weeks thanks to Alison and Dale arranging plenty of viewings and Dale Kempson is keeping me well informed about the whole transaction. Great job keep up the good work

GoogleJust sold our property with Parkers - Would never use them again and would not recommend them. The communication early on was good, we had good communication regarding viewings. However, post offer acceptance and in the crucial part of the sale cycle, communication was very poor and they were incredibly hard to contact or speak to. We found them always unavailable, they never return calls and take all day to get back to you (if at all), so you end up wasting another day! They don't have a sales progressor, so when you are in the final and stressful part of the sale, it is incredibly frustrating that the agents are too busy to speak to you, or always "out of office". They definitely don't go above and beyond like the other estate agent we dealt with. We were the paying clients, yet it felt like everything was way too much hassle for them. They are an extremely disorganised business and do not have their clients best interests at heart. We were made to feel like they didn't care about our sale and we weren't a priority to anyone there. Your house will sell itself to the right person on Rightmove, I would strongly recommend going with an estate agent with a good sales progressor and communication throughout - Something Parkers very much lack!NegativeQuality, Value
Dear Amy I have now been able to discover what has happened and firstly accept my apologies on not knowing who you were originally. I can see that we sold your partners property in Shinfield and another agent sold your property in Emmer Green. I would like to confirm that the person who was dealing with the sale for your partner was let go by myself in September due to poor performance, there were several factors and properties involved in this decision but ultimately it was something we needed to act on and quickly. Your partners sale was one of those that we were not happy how things were being dealt with. As one of the owners of the Spencers Wood Office. I pride myself on ensuring that our team members do communicate with vendors and buyers alike and provide great service. I now understand from the notes here that you rang in looking for advice on your own Sale in Emmer Green and were told that we couldn’t assist. Whilst of course we had nothing to do with your personal sale we still should have been in a position to assist you where we could so please accept my apologies. Whilst I would have appreciated that you came direct to me with your grievances before your review so that I could have dealt with things sooner. I do understand how you were feeling . Please leave your review on google as I would like people to know that nobody is perfect and that any potential clients in the future understand how importantly I take our service to them.
