Opening in July 2019, Parkers in Spencers Wood is an independently owned franchise serving Spencers Wood, Three Mile Cross, Shinfield, Arborfield, Risely, Swallowfield, Grazeley, Farley Hill and Eversley areas. Our management team consists of the four local industry experts, Sion, Ben, Dale and Bruce who have over 110 years of combined estate agency experience. Working directly in the office is Ben Mitchell and Dale Kempson both of them are business owners. Dale has lived in the village of Spencers Wood for over 30 years, and has a wealth of experience in property sales. He has been working as an estate agent within the Reading and surrounding areas for over 40 years. Alongside Dale is Ben Mitchell who brings another 20+ years' experience in both sales and lettings. Ben grew up in Arborfield and knows the entire area intimately, having been a local estate agent in the area since 1998. Our main areas of business are residential sales, lettings, property management, as well as financial services via our independent mortgage advisors. The office is located on the Basingstoke Road in Spencers Wood, allowing us to be within easy reach of all the local villages we serve. GoogleThank you to the team at Parkers. We agreed what we thought was a realistic sale price and Parkers kindly reduced their commission. Once instructed, Parkers set up a what'sapp group to keep us posted and arranged numerous viewings within hours and our house sold for more than the asking price, in less than 24 hours. We dealt mostly with Dale as we approached exchange, and due to issues at the top of the chain, out of Dale's control, he was proactive, keeping things moving and very reassuring and sympathetic during what became a protracted 3 weeks reaching exchange. We highly recommend Dale and Parkers at Spencers Wood to anyone looking for decent estate agents, who get things done and keep you in the loop.

GoogleEstate Agents - they're all the same right, doesn't matter who you choose, it's all about rightmove anyway. That is kind of what I thought. I went with a different agent to begin with and can definitely now say that they are not the same! After 16 unsuccessful weeks with one we switched to Parkers and sold in approx 3 weeks, but its not even the quicker sale time that convinced me, after all that could just be luck! I just found Parkers to be so much better overall. The pictures were better, they were more proactive, they made more suggestions, I never had to chase for feedback on viewings, they were always contactable, more reliable viewings with no no-shows, they were way more organised and personal. I was their customer and was treated as such, I couldn't always say the same for the other agent. As it turned out I also bought the house we moved to through Spencers Wood Parkers so got to see both the selling and buying side of the business. Again I couldn't fault them. They provided invaluable advice, were very supportive and, for me, most importantly of all they were ALWAYS available. Not once was the phone left un-answered. I was constantly updated on progress and had valuable help and support where required. FacebookHaving not used an Estate agent in over 25years this was a difficult decision but no regrets with our choice. The team at Parker’s are all very professional and all work extremely hard to get the job done. Dale kept me up to date every step of the way and anything I didn’t understand he was happy to talk me through. Dale went above and beyond my expectation.The thing I liked was I never felt uncomfortable or pushed to make a decision, I was always given time. It was a hard slog but we got there in the end. GoogleWarning to anybody looking to purchase property at Villa Place in Swallowfield! We wasted 8 months waiting for delusional vendors who lied to us about moving into a rental property (after we had already spent thousands on solicitors and a survey in good faith of this promise). They then proceeded 20k more 8 months later because they can’t actually afford the fantasy home they are looking for. Parkers seemed to happily support this unethical behaviour the whole time so would strongly advise to avoid this estate agents. This property is now on the market at 45k more than was originally accepted. Update: Just because it’s been re sold doesn’t meant it’s completed. Update 03/2022: property didn’t sell, still owned by the same people. Update 09/2023: still owned by the same people, property never sold
Dear Aaron, We are truly sorry that this purchase did not go through unfortunately circumstances change in many situations, We would question how you spent thousands? as the purchase /sale never really took off. Nobody can forsee changes in the market and it is fair to say that the market place has increased over the last 6 months. As Estate Agents we must take the instructions of the homeowners.
