Complete let down throughout the whole sale process. Now the market is down and it’s a buyers market they take the buyer’s side and try to convince the seller to decrease asking price further and further just to get their listings sold quickly, but not to achieve the best price by actually selling it for you. All they do is open the front door, no active selling happening. I regret not going with jdm as they sold our neighbour’s house for £25k more, at the same time. Also, their assistant manager got very rude in the end and was completely unwilling to work with us to achieve the least financial loss we suffered due to an unreliable buyer who wasn’t vetted properly by KFH before we accepted the offer.

I've had very mixed experience with previous agents until Mohammed Ahmed the new sales director started at the Lee office. He is always giving constructive feedback and makes you feel that he has your best interest at heart. We’ve recently bought a property through KFH, Beckenham Branch and couldn’t be more disappointed with the experience.I would highlight Catherine’s behaviour in particular. Calling her manner passive aggressive and intentionally abrupt would be an understatement. Having to interact with her on a weekly and sometimes daily basis has been one of the most unpleasant professional interactions I’ve ever had. Buying a property involves its fair share of stress but in our case, we strongly feel that Catherine has gone out of her way to add to it, for reasons outside of my comprehension.Aside from this aspect, I found KFH to be the standard high street agent, no better or worse than others.It would be an understatement

Don't hesitate to pay the extra percentage to sell your house with KFH, especially if you are in the Chislehurst/Orpington/Petts Wood area and especially in the hands of Susan and Deana, they're the best agency we've ever used and would give them a 7star rating for excellence.

TrustpilotKFH would put me on multiple viewings…
KFH would put me on multiple viewings back to back with other buyers so the whole process in the lead up to offering felt cold and badly managed. They never listened to the brief only your ‘best offer’. The priority is not to find the right place for you as an individual, just a generic estate agent experience. Once I found somewhere, the negotiation skills to get me a decent offer were limited. I offered on a place I reallywanted and they failed to tell me the property had rising and saturated mould and damp from the floors and ceilings including other structural issues which I only found out after spending £2,000. As a result, I had to pull out and then within seconds of pulling out they sent me the sales memo for the flat with a £15,000 reduction. I am appalled by the level of customer care and would not recommend the Balham office. They could not care less about your process.

GoogleI was impressed with KFH letting experience in terms of how fast they managed to find a rental at the price i asked for. However, I was incredibly dissapointed with their managing of the property. Anything that needed to be arranged, had to be pushed on by me - painting works, electricity certificate, collection of agreed water charges from the tenant... No apology about delays or any issues, just a matter of fact statement that electrician didn't reply to them for a few months and that's why I don't have an EICR certificate yet, tenant didn't reply for 6 months and that's why water charges weren't collected. No attempt to follow up or raise with me. I haven't had an issue with any emergencies at my property, so can't tell whether they would show initiative there. Edit: just found three years after they stopped managing it or doing any business with me, they still held on to my flat keys. And now requesting that I come in person to collect them. Downgraded to 1 star. (They asked me whether I want to let with them again…)

GoogleWhile the team did manage to sell my apartment throughout the process it felt like they were working more for the buyer than for me. I got weekly phone calls telling me that the buyer was threatening to pull out and asking why it was taking so long to get things moving, but when the buyer was holding things up I never heard from them. On the day of completion they weren’t even aware we were completing and didn’t tell me I had to meet with them to drop off the keys.

Trustpilot'No floorplan' available for flat to let, unprofessional approach, bad communication
I arranged to view a property to let through KFH. While the estate agents I dealt with directly were pleasant and responsive, I was disappointed by the unprofessionalism overall. Firstly, the flat advertised was not the flat available - the pictures were of a larger, more recently refurbished flat. Following the viewing, I requested a floorplan (a fairly basic requirement when considering committing almost £2K a month in rent) which I was told 'was not available' and that 'management couldn't locate one.' I had to chase repeatedly to ask if a floorplan was available, each time being told one wasn't, which simply won't have been true - all agents have floorplans to hand. In the end, I withdrew my offer out of frustration.
