Great service.

I just want to say our property manager Abigail Goad is absolutely amazing. We have tenants who are quite high maintenance but Abigail sorts everything out with super efficiency.

Freddie is a rare, genuinely great estate agent. Communicates well and only showed properties that fit my guidelines. Professional and efficient, would recommend 100% if buying in the London Bridge area.

I want to thank Morgan for his fantastic service and availability through the whole process of acquiring our current home. He was accessible, responsive and very helpful when needed. We had a short time to find a place to stay as just moving into the country and all our needs were met. Thank you Morgan and I would warmly recommend Foxtons London Bridge Estate.

Working at Foxtons London Bridge was the most traumatising and horrible experience of my life. I can’t think of any good things working there, however there were only a few lovely and sweet people that had a lot of time and respect for me including the whole of the sales team and a few of the lettings team. Moving on to the cons, the hours are very long, working from 10-7 or 9-6 and you don’t get paid enough for the hours you work or the tasks you have to carry out. The long hours meant there was no social life after work because all i wanted to do was go home and sleep because I felt exhausted and drained from work. I didn’t have a good experience working there especially with my manager. My manager, Georgia Stamataki was rude, arrogant and never had time to listen to what I had to say, she ALWAYS used to speak over me all the time. From the time I started at Foxtons I don’t think she ever liked me, it’s like she always had an issue with everything I did. She used to tell me if I need help I should ask and when I did go to her for help she told me “follow your notes” and get irritated with me. She went behind my back to report to other managers about me which made me feel very uncomfortable, it’s like I was walking on eggshells around them. She is very vindictive, manipulative, and two faced especially towards the end of my time at Foxtons. She was pretending to be all nice knowing what she was going to do to me. I was off work for a while due to stress related issues at work and I had to keep in contact with her about my sickness. I sent her one of my sick notes and she just ignored the message and this resulted to my sick pay being reduced. If anyone wants to apply to any of the central south offices including London Bridge don’t do it because you will have her as a manager and you will suffer the consequences as she will make your life miserable. Another con working there is that if you want time off work you have to give your manager a reason why and what you’re doing on that day and when you’re returning to work. I thought this was very intrusive, they don’t respect your privacy, they just want you to work like robots all the time. There was a time when one of the higher managers told me that she can see I’m actively looking for work and when I asked how did she know she said that my name kept popping up in their talent acquisition portal thing. This also came across as an invasion of privacy as what I do in my personal time has nothing to do with them. AGAIN, please think twice about applying to work there because they are like FBI wanting to know what you are doing every second of the day. There are cameras everywhere in the office to monitor your every move. There are even cameras in the negotiators cars so you can’t really escape from them. Furthermore working as an office coordinator, you are entitled for an hour lunch break. There were times that negotiatiors were late to cover my lunch break and it’s like I had to work into my break until someone came to cover the reception desks and it was unfair because I’m entitled to my break. I was always stressed out at work because I never felt supported by my manager. I used to go work feeling anxious to the point where I was feeling sick and nauseous. I was constantly feeling overwhelmed and overstimulated by the workload and with a manager like Georgia it didn’t make things any better.

I was spoken to quite rudely on the phone with agents pushing for an earlier viewing or just scheduling a viewing without asking for availabilities. I have told agents multiple times to stop calling me but this was not heard. I even removed my information from the portal and noted that I am no longer looking for a property. I still receive 3-4 calls a day whilst informing them that I do not want to rent through them.

Foxtons Letting Commission…

Just to share my experience and warn anybody thinking of using Foxtons letting services. Foxtons will be vey happy to take full year commission in advance but if your tenant moves out before the full year period, Foxtons will not refund your commission in cash but just leave the amount as a credit in your account even you no longer have the intention to rent out your property. Area director of Foxtons claimed that this is in line with Foxtons terms of business. Beware before you choose Foxtons letting services.

I truly do not understand who in their…

I truly do not understand who in their right mind has ever rated Foxtons 5 stars. Unfortunately I have been in contact with them at multiple occasions but I am happy to say that today was the last. They arrange viewings for properties that has already been let, WHY not cancel if anything happened between the time of booking and the viewing actually taking place. This seems to be a common occurrence for Foxtons. Other than that, the agents are the rudest human beings I have ever spoken to. Surely I’ve not been unfortunate enough to have come across the ONLY employees at Foxtons that hate their jobs so this seems to be a big issue over there. When calling it seems as though you just ruined their entire day. I’m SORRY I was interested in the properties you have listed, that by the way isn’t even available. If calls like these are a displeasure to the agents I would suggest removing the ads.

Malika has been an absolute star! She was incredibly responsive and attentive throughout the entire housing search and negotiation process. She went the extra mile by sending us new properties daily and always prioritized our needs. Malika was truly on top of it! She always made sure we had answers to our questions, even staying in contact during our negotiation when her car had broken down! As newcomers to the area, finding a suitable home was challenging, but Malika was a gem in a sea of unresponsive and apathetic agents. We couldn’t have asked for a better advocate and agent!

Incompetence and lies on a legendary scale!

I had my property up for sale with Foxtons, an offer collapsed, and so I decided to consider rental. After I spoke to the rental department, they took a renter into my property without my permission, hadn't even signed a contract. Luckily, the person liked it and offered a good rent. The agent lied to the renter and me, messed up three contracts, so by the time he signed the fourth contract on my behalf, the renter had been in my flat for 10 days. Lucky he signed! He told me that I could not protect the deposit...lie. He told me that the second 6-month rent payment would be paid on the fourth month...lie. And it was not paid in advance on the 5th month like every other agent; the tenant is now late with the second 6-month payment. I complained to the manager, but he ignored my complaints. The whole office is corrupt. Really, do yourself a favour, there are good letting agents out there, Foxtons is not one of them.

I was hugely impressed with Foxtons on the recent sale of my flat where they replaced another agent who was struggling. From the very beginning Gabor/ Dominika were confident re the price they could achieve, selected a small but well qualified group of buyers, and then were utterly tenacious with all parties (buyer, both solicitors, even me!) to ensure the sale completed ahead of the UK budget which was a key deadline for me. I know they come at a premium, but the increase in purchase price achieved means it's a complete no brainer - I won't waste time with other agents in future.

New X Foxtons is appalling

New Cross Gate letting office is appalling. I had a misfortune to invite them a few years back for valuation and then when changed my mind, asked them to delete me from their database as wasn't planning to do anything with my house. And guess what every year I am receiving unsolicited calls inquiring about valuation, letting, selling. They promise to delete my number every time they call once every half a year in average, pathetic.

Malika Bega - you rock girlllll Not new to Foxtons and Malika is just great assistance at viewings and followup This is my second time working with Malika who literally owns the search like a project and loves making sure the parties(letter and tenant) are coming to coordial agreement Love her zeal, client focus, attentiveness, followup and most of all proactiveness of lining viewings Surely , will revert to her "again" once my current lease gets over All the best!

I recently completed the purchase of a property, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional service provided by Jacob Murray and his team at Foxtons. From the very start of the process right through to completion, Jacob went above and beyond what one would typically expect from an estate agent. He was incredibly supportive, proactive, and thorough, always one step ahead in liaising with both parties' solicitors and ensuring that everything progressed smoothly. Jacob consistently provided reassurance and confidence throughout the entire process, which, as any buyer knows, can be quite stressful at times. What truly sets Jacob apart is his dedication. Not only was he professional, polite, and accommodating, but he also kept us updated on progress outside of normal working hours, including weekends. His commitment to seeing the transaction through, combined with his excellent communication skills, really made all the difference. Jacob and his team at Foxtons have played an instrumental role in making this experience as seamless and stress-free as possible. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Foxtons London Bridge has been a real game changer for my tenancy search and introduction in the world of letting in London. As a new joiner physician working at Guy’s Hospital I was looking for a nice and well organized house close to the hospital. In particular, Jack (one of the amazing letting agent from Foxtons) has been my first and unique point of contact over the whole process. Always polite, precise in his replies and very responsive on WhatsApp (even over the summer vacation period). His help has been continuous over, during and also after the letting deal with the landlords. Also, amazing videos and photos gave me a clear representation of my future flat. Whoever will need to let in London surely should consider Jack and Foxtons to be their primary point of referral!

Jacob and his team were the most professional and organised Estate agents we have dealt with. They were there when ever we needed questions answered, additional information on the property and the area. They returned calls out of hours and kept the flow of information to all to guaranty a smooth completion They pulled out all the stops. If you buying or selling in south London. Jacob and his team would, in my opinion, be the first and only number on the list

Priorities are wrong

Foxtons can't seem to answer simple enquiries about a property - for example "how long is the leasehold" or "what are the service charges". Instead their focus is on gaining as much information about the person inquiring as possible. Ie they have more interest in adding to a dataset of potential buyers and marketing themselves than in answering a simple enquiry. I certainly wouldn't sell with them given how they prioritise themselves over the sellers interests..... of course all this is in the guise of "customer service" but it's not really is it? It's blatant marketing and self promotion.

nightmare agents

nightmare agents. do yourself a favour and use a different one. these are the guys who give estates agents their bad name. its been almost 2 months since i completed and they still havent given me the full set of keys or removed furniture as promised. i dealt with jordan at the temple fortune branch and every day he has a new excuse. they dont respond to messages or phone calls and provide a truly awful service. there are plenty of other good agents around who provide a much better service.
