Rented an appartment with foxtons at Standhope Gardens 62d Standhope gardens! After I found out that there were prostitutes residing before and that the bathtub collapsed 1 year ago and the wall crushed! Also, it was full of rats!

GoogleI had a great experience with my letting agent, Abraham Banjo. He was responsive through every step of the process and was patient with me as I assessed my options based on my specific criteria. He helped me find a great deal and followed through the custom requests I made with my offer. Overall, I had a great experience working with Foxtons. I'm updating this review and downgrading the rating based in the quality of the service I have received so far during my tenancy. A number of issues that were identified during the viewing and promised to be fixed before move in were not fixed and still haven't been address over 5 months into my tenancy. Issues take days or weeks to resolve (blinds falling down and taking weeks to be replaced, washer needing to be serviced and being told to troubleshoot it myself when the issue was with a part that needed to be replaced). This is not the kind of customer service and tenant support I expect to receive for the quality of the rental I have chosen. I'm extremely frustrated with the experience and poor service I receive. I had a great experience with the letting agent but an awful experience with the actual flat. If you are a tenant, be careful with Foxtons if they are property manager for your rental.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality

GoogleUpdate: 7 Sep 2021. I got an email from Foxtons asking me to remove a staff members name from my review, it is double standards that they allow other staff members name in positive ones. I shall not be doing no such thing, these people need to be held accountable especially in regards to housing this is people's livelihood's you're playing with and for you to have disrespected my son and his flatmate is not on and you shall be treated accordingly. My experience with this letting agent has been shockingly disgusting to say the least. My son who is a student moved last month and to his horror, he identified several issues such as black mould in all the rooms, dampness, broken furniture, sliverfish infestation and unclean flat that he wasn't aware, or told on his viewing. Both myself and my son, and his flatmate are convinced his viewing was tampered, and was mislead into renting this flat. Because of the estate agent's negligence, in particularly a property manager who goes by Brendan Hind who is mostly responsible. My son fell ill due to the black mould as he has already has pre-existing medical conditions which makes his susceptible to mould. When we contacted them about this, the estate agent promised they'd act diligently however they lied and still as of writing this my son has been unable to sleep in his bedroom. As of writing this the mould still hasn't been removed and we have not been provided with a dehumidifier. We have had to get Southwark council involved due to the estate agent's and landlord negligence in failure due the repairs in a timely manner and violating acts which made my son ill. We are also considering legal action. I do not recommend those wishing to move forward with Foxtons Estate at London Bridge as we have treated really bad, and surprised to others have had good experiences.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleI had a brilliant experience working with Lulu. She was very professional and consistently kept in touch with me over multiple weeks to show me what properties were available. She was also very accommodating and understanding of my rental needs unlike agents from other agencies who can be very pushy.

We moved out of the apartment over three months ago and left it in perfect condition. The rental agreement stated that our deposit should have been returned within 10 days, yet we are still waiting. Despite repeated follow-ups, nothing has been resolved.

GoogleLUKE GALLAGHER IS THE BEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS IN ALL MY VIEWINGS (and there have been A LOT of viewings and a lot of agents). He has been delightful from the get go, personable, friendly, KNOWLEDGEABLE. You would be surprised how many estate agents turn up to viewings and know nothing about the flat they’re showing you. Not Luke. He knows everything there is to know. We bumped into the sellers on a viewing last night and they clearly knew him and liked him. It gives you reassurance that he’s a good bloke and makes you want to work with him. He’s not even bloody working for me you know? He really defies all the stereotypes of estate agents. And i dated an estate agent so i have a particular low opinion of them normally. Luke has rehabilitated that impression for estate agents across the land. Honestly if you told me when i started my house search that i would be typing a google review for a random estate agent i met at some viewings.. i would have told you to go swivel. but here we are. such is the power of the gallagher. Luke for Foxton London Bridge manager!!

GoogleWe were working with Chris and Gábor and they were very helpful with the process, chasing people and making sure that there is progress. However in some cases when we had issues that the vendor had to sort out, we were being pushed to just accept he situation as it is so we can exchange contracts ASAP, and we didn’t like that, as these were issues that had to be resolved, and in the case of an expensive purchase like a flat we cannot be accepted to just fudge over some problems and hope for the best.

The agent assigned to me- Malika Bega - has been helpful throughout the whole process. Reassuring when needed, provided precise information about matters at hand. Compared to some other agents I’ve had the misfortune to talk to, this has been perfect.
