I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service provided by Foxtons Agency. We have been experiencing a severe issue with our boiler for an entire week, and the response from Foxtons has been nothing short of appalling. In the heart of winter, with temperatures dropping to -2 degrees in London, living without a functioning boiler is not only inconvenient but downright unbearable. Despite multiple attempts to bring this matter to Foxtons' attention, we are still waiting for a resolution, with the vague promise of someone coming in "hopefully" within the next two days. The lack of urgency and empathy in addressing this matter is shocking. As a result, my home has become an icebox, and basic necessities such as taking a shower have become luxuries. It is disheartening to see a lack of concern for the well-being and comfort of tenants, especially during these harsh weather conditions. I have attempted to communicate our concerns to Foxtons, but the responses have been minimal and far from satisfactory. It is unacceptable for a property management agency to leave tenants in such dire conditions without a clear and prompt resolution. I expected more from Foxtons Agency, and this experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. I sincerely hope that this review serves as a warning to others considering their services. The level of service we have received is far from what is acceptable, and I urge Foxtons to prioritize the well-being of their tenants and address maintenance issues with the urgency they deserve.

More than £600 "stolen" in unjustified deposit deductions.

DO NOT RENT through Foxtons. More than £600 "stolen" in unjustified deposit deductions. Really shady practices.

Eleanor Henderson from Foxtons London Bridge did a wonderful job of showing us properties for sale. She is efficient, organised, knowledgable and made the whole process so clear. Quite easily the best estate agent I worked with in the area. Thanks for your help Eleanor!

At the end ludlowthompson was not very good for us - we were in referencing for a month and they told us that the referencing part of the company was waiting for "verbal references" and there was nothing we could provide to make things faster. Never had an experience like that. Even though our agent was a super nice person, he couldn't provide us with more information. After we passed referencing, they also didn't provide the contract immediately or offer an explanation why they didn't send the contract. It's only after asking many times (and very forcefully) were they able to provide a response. Overall, after we paid the holding deposit the communication was mostly one sided and they didn't provide us with updates at all unless we asked. At the end we decided to forego our deposit and go with another house! This would have never have happened if they didn't hold us in referencing for a month and had sent us the contract earlier. I think people in the agency mean well but the disconnect with referencing is just beyond comprehension. I think this company needs a serious reorganisation. Oh and the part about verbal references - I checked with the person that they were supposedly waiting on. He hasn't received an email or a call or anything from anyone regarding me. So what were they waiting for? I am just giving 2 stars instead of 1 because they're not scammers (I don't think). It's just a badly organised company.

I had some viewings with Eleanor who was extremely prompt and professional, listened properly to my needs, and was very knowledgeable about the properties she showed me. Although I ended up purchasing elsewhere, I was very happy with the service I received from her.

House hunting in London was really no easy task, but I’m glad we have Malika at Foxton who has supported us with great deal of professionalism through the entire process. Thank you!

Absolutely awful !! Left chasing my deposit after leaving the property nearly a month ago leaving me £1300 out of pocket in the cost of living crisis. This has destroyed my mental health and lead to me racking up debt despite the fact I was told the deposit would be returned in 10 days of check out. NO COMMUNICATION I’ve had to chase constantly. They will have multiple viewings while you’re still living in the property we had upwards of 12 a day meaning we couldn’t be in the property most of the time for the final month and they even had a sofa delivered for the new tenants 2 weeks before we moved out !!! On top of that we had tap problems meaning we couldn’t shower and mould problems which again we had to chase to get resolved with no help from the agency. Thought renting from an agency offered protection to the tenant but it seems all they care about is the landlord. AVOID.

Mine and my partner's experience being a tenant with Foxtons was abysmal. Communication was poor - we frequently had to chase up our property manager for updates, often conversing ourselves with the maintenance companies and other third parties as otherwise nothing would get done. We had six weeks during our tenancy with no hot water due to a comedy of errors of the wrong boiler parts being ordered, confusion with the maintenance company as to what the problem was and when they were coming to fix it and more. Shortly after that we had a severe mould problem, to the point we were advised to move out. This was met with similar apathy, with nothing being done to solve the problem. When we did finally move out, it took two months for our deposit to be returned, and this only happened after chasing up the relevant parties over and over again. Given the condition of the property we stayed in, I am horrified to hear that Foxtons intend on renting it out again. This just scratches the surface of the problems we dealt with. If you want to be taken care of and respected by your property agent, do not rent with Foxtons.

Signed with this agency around 3 months ago. Experience with the house I’m letting has been an absolutely diabolical. You receive a response every 10 days ( if not longer). We were asked to fill out a report to disclose any issues with the property at the start which included key issues, tv issues, washing machine issues and pest control. After living here for 3 months we still have had nothing sorted. Our front door is no longer accessible as it will not unlock and we have had an ongoing moth issue in our carpets resulting in us tenants having moth bites. No matter how many times you email in urgency nothing is sorted. I cannot stress how unhelpful anyone from property management is and the lack of concern they here. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

We used Foxtons at a time we were looking for appartments in London. The offices were really modern, the staff was attentive (we got a warm cup of coffee on a cold evening which was very appreciated!) Malika's service as a host was amazing! She was super attentive both on the phone and in person. When showing us the properties she was helpful with all the tips on the area and on the property! Would recommend them if you are on a home hunting! :)

My experience with Foxtons was great. I had been looking for a flat for months - living with family in the meantime. I couldn’t get any realtor on the phone! Jack Smith really took me on and made sure that I could get a good flat. He gave great advice and went above and beyond to make the process easy after so many months of bad luck! Would definitely recommend Foxtons London Bridge and specifically Jack for finding a flat to let.

I was the acting solicitor for a buyer of a property through Foxtons London Bridge and I had the pleasure of dealing with Jacob during the transaction. As to be expected there can be some issues in the conveyancing process but I must say I was very impressed with Jacobs willingness and ability to assist and collaborate with us in getting things moving along and ensuring the transaction completed as intended. He was always polite and constantly working with us not against us. If you're looking to market with an Estate Agents that have your best interest in mind and will work to ensure you have a successful sale/purchase and that can communicate with solicitors without causing any friction these are the guys you need.

I had the most incredible experience during my stay at this wonderful rental place. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warmest and nice people I've ever encountered. The location itself was nothing short of breathtaking, surrounded by captivating attractions that were just a stone's throw away. What truly made my stay unforgettable was the meticulous planning and arrangements by Thomas Norton. His attention to detail ensured that every aspect of my stay was seamless and enjoyable. His dedication to making guests feel comfortable and well taken care of is truly commendable.

AVOID Foxtons London Bridge at all costs! Please read all their reviews over the last few years before Renting or Selling with them! We rented an accommodation though Foxtons on a temp basis 2 months at £4500 pcm. The property viewing was carried out by Tom. The property was incredibly dirty and we requested for this to be cleaned. This was not actioned (please see pictures). Moving with 2 toung children with Medical issues, we had to pay £395 for professional cleaning of the property. This is after 3 companies refusing to even touch the house for the condition. The house had construction work completed and all the dirty and debri from this was everywhere. The property had leaking taps, no curtains or blinds in 1 bedroom (Still waiting for curtains), lights not working in the kitchen, sockets off the walls, bulbs needed replacing in the living room! And trying to get help from Foxtons was harder than fitting a camel through the eye of a needle. We have over 5 people involved since we raised the issue: Tom, Elliot, Sophie, Rajit and Lisa. Who all concluded that the property was cleaned and as such they would not refund the cost of cleaning. We have had to take legal actions against Foxtons for the misrepresentation of the property we rented. 1 week into the rental and we will waiting for all the issues to be rectified. And then to be told if we terminate the contract we would lose our funds and deposits. We have had no choice but to take legal actions against Foxtons London Bridge as aell as report them to the Property Ombundsman. I would not recommend them to anyone for any of their services from the experience we have gone through! I wish I had read the numerous reviews from past clients all with the same issues!!

I thought Foxtons were great until we had the bad luck of having someone called Lucky manage our contract. Foxtons take about a grand a month from our rent to our landlord and so far have taken 4 months to swap out a person on the contract. Literally just don't bother replying. Unless of course they want something like some bit of legal obligation they need from us to cover their backs - then they're suddenly very available.

Kerl and Sarah were very professional, helping us at each stage of our search to find the property that suited us. Despite some difficulties in putting together the file on our part, they did not abandon us and trusted us. We now have the house we wanted thanks to them. Thank you so much.
