Steer clear of this awful company

Steer well clear of this company. Totally & utterly incompetent. I am one of many of this opinion judging by the bad reviews for this awful company. Lead by a rude woman called Andrea Leader, the subject of many negative reviews on here.Their valuer (Sophie Sutton) visited my home & suggested it was listed as offers in excess of £325K. Sophie arrived at my home over 30 minutes late she claimed she had got lost - I as a result lost work time & could have lost my job for not logging onto the call centre I was supposed to be at work for that day. I wasn't happy. Sophie made NO notes during her visit to my home.I asked Sophie Sutton to email me with her valuation of my home. I told her I was trying to get help to avoid a repossession after having no income during the Covid crisis & as a result incurring mortgage arrears, & that I needed something in writing to enable some advice & I also wanted to sell my home & move out of the area to a location closer to my family. Sophie agreed to send me a written valuation by email & that she'd do this once she was back at her office within 30 minutes. No such email or valuation arrived.I telephoned this company to ask why I'd not received her valuation & was told that Sophie was out valuing houses. An hour later I still hadn't received the valuation. I phoned again & was told she had sent it. I told them I'd not received it. I asked them if they had sent it to the right email address, it turns out that they had taken my email address down wrong, so who received it I wonder?Then I received the valuation but Sophie had spelled my house name wrong. I phoned again & told her this, she claimed she had seen it spelled like she had seen it written online, I know for a fact that this simply is not the case. She agreed to send me an amended valuation eventually I received this.But then I decided to list my house for sale, so I emailed Sophie asking her to list my home for sale & I asked for guidance on some concerns I had about the selling process. I'd expected to have had the courtesy of a reply in response to my concerns, but this was not forthcoming, from Sophie or anyone else at Flexi-agent regarding my concerns.I was sent an email with a button in it to a docusign site, nothing was visible other than for an input field inviting me to write my name inside it & then click on the "Submit" button. There was no information or document visible relating to what I was signing. I signed it in between work calls. I expected to receive a copy of what I had signed but nothing came. Sophie then went ahead & listed my home on Rightmove without responding to my concerns, which was far from professional.Worse still, Sophie listed my home for £300,000 which I categorically asked her not to do when she was at my home. We had agreed that it must be listed for no less than £325,000. I had to break off from work, to phone this company to ask for the listing to be amended immediately as their listing was devaluing my home. I was told that Sophie was unavailable & told I would get a callback when she was free & they had no idea when this might be. I had already told this company & Sophie numerous times that I could not have incoming calls because I work 18 hours per day 7 days per week & I log onto a call centre, who fires people if their line is engaged when they try to put calls through or if their mobile rings in the background of a client call. Despite telling the receptionist this, she continued to insist on a call back which saw me plunged into a futile revolving door conversation. I asked to speak to a manager, but the rude receptionist slammed the phone down on me. I called back twice to get the same appalling response & the phone slammed down on me twice more. I was incensed, so I emailed Sophie asking her to remove my listing & cancel the contract as I also did the company via their website. By this time I was furious & distraught with my home live on Rightmove being devalued. I was losing work time, I was then late logging back into the call centre & being threatened with the loss of my job, I had lost the company I work for income & also myself, which was intolerable. I emailed in a complaint & received a barrage of abusive, insulting & scathing emails from Andrea Leader the wife of Jack Leader who is the director of Flexi agent. Andrea tried to turn things around to make out that their company were the victims in all of this! She accused me of screaming down the phone & insulting staff, which I did not do. I was even more furious at this, then she commenced to threatening me with reporting me for harassment after I justifiably emailed her to complain about the the catalogue of blunders her company had made & asked for the immediate removal of their listing of my house on Rightmove & for them to cancel the contract with immediate effect. Andrea Leader's abuse continued & this has forced me now, to file a report on this.

After being let down previously for a viewing my husband and I were about to drive away not achieving our goal of seeing a property we were at all interested in, I decided to check rightmove again latest 24hr entries and we saw a house we liked the look of at 4:45pm….I rang flexiagent in a hurry and Chloe Barraclough-Bourbeau arranged the booking for an hour later… it was perfect… our offer was excepted at 7pm Thank you Chloe for working late and going above and beyond to help us get our dream house 🙏🥂 …. We’ve moved in now thanks to Jacquie and their brilliant team! If or when it comes time to sell I would definitely use flexi-agent to sell my house as they all do that little bit extra to make a stressful time that much easier….

Measurements advertised larger than actual

So we queried measurements that Flexi Agent had used on a house we were looking at as the measurements didn’t make sense when the house was meant to be bigger than our existing for seemed smaller. We had them checked and turns out Flexi Agent were wrong, this was challenged to which the response was “our Quantity Surveyor is an expert and knows what they are doing”, to which we responded saying it’s an error on the site then and we were still told it was right and we were wrong so we explained it’s fraud and miss-selling. Lo and behold the house dimensions were reduced later that day c.30m squared less than originally advertised. A month or so later and the house dimensions had increased again by 10m squared. We spoke to friends who have looked at Flexi Agent properties and used Flexi Agent themselves and they found this exact same experience. It seems Flexi Agent or someone working for them is falsely advertising larger floor space on the properties they are selling portraying better value for money. Please ensure you either have the floor measurements independently checked or check it yourself to avoid having a smaller house than advertised

We had a house in Ainsdale I Invited 5 agents to view the property and discuss a sales strategy, Flexi agent where by far the best and very confident of reaching a quick sale, snd achieve the price they valued my property at, they also came in with the highest valuation, from the very first instructions I was contacted by Rachel knight from the company who kept me updated by email and phone calls, very professional and she knows the market and her job very well within 2 weeks we had our asking price they had recommended,, we put the property on with them on 29th March 22 and completed the sale on 20 may, Rachel kept me updated with the viewings, the offer and reassurance the buyer was in a position to purchase,, once the sale started going through my next contact was Vicky she kept me up to date by calls and emails each step of the way explaining the process, reassuring me it was progressing well I can’t thank Flexi agent enough for there hard work professional way they acted and fantastic communication especially the main 2 staff members above, they are a credit to the company Do not hesitate if you are buying or selling to use Flexi agent They were fantastic Thanking you all so much I’m One happy seller Martin Segars lane sale may 2022

I have to say, I have over the years dealt with many many estate agents from all over the country, Flexiagent are by far the best I have ever experienced. Not only are they super organised, massively experienced and extremely courteous but they have many USP’s (unique selling points) open 7 days from early to late, dedicated progress chasers and a full team who’s sole purpose is to not only get the very best price for the property but also to ensure all links in the chain are chased to ensure the sale completes. Recommendation is a no brainer but that I don’t think cuts it, this team throughout are commensurate professionals with the experience in the industry that shines through, a breath of fresh air in the property industry. Engage Flexiagent and I am certain as was ours your expectations will will be more than exceeded in all aspects of the selling or buying process.I have to mention Rachel as a stand out team member, super helpful, courteous and all over the job to get it done, Jack it has to be said took some magnificent photos and videos as well as being a super nice guy, these team members are a credit.

So pleased we decided to have flexi agent to sell our property. We initially had a open day and were so surprised that we had 12 viewings. We actually agreed a sale that same day. This should have been so straightforward but unfortunately a problem with one buyer in the chain caused everything to nearly collapse. We can't think Vicky Noren-Dobson enough for the way she constantly kept us informed. We had to bring in a new buyer late on but Vickie sorted everything. She was so fantastic to deal with and always so understanding,it felt as though I was talking to a friend which was so lovely. We always felt in safe hands, never waiting and waiting for updates. If she wasn't in the office Jacquie was there to pass on all information and deal with any problems. I can't recommend flexi agent enough, it was the best decision ever to go with them.

From the moment we met our valuer, Richard Pattison, we were impressed with the professionalism and approach to the sales process. We had three valuations but chose Flexi-agent for this reason.
