It didn't take long to get an offer on our flat. Jane did the valuation of our home and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Later as our sale progressed. Lucina and Donna were very helpful chasing our solicitors who were particularly slow and difficult to deal with. They were very patient with us and we felt supported by them. At some points we felt Lucina and Donna went above and beyond to help us.

We needed to move due to changes in our landlord circumstances. From the first contact through our mother in law via Katie the process has been good. Katie was really helpful and contacted us with a property that suited the next day. After viewing a property what had just come on the market, she was able to take us through the application process quickly and efficiently. What has been really good is that she helped us with our queries in a prompt manner and has gone out of her way to help the application proceed smoothly. Through her professionalism and persistence yet friendly approach, she was able to push through for our desired move date and secure the keys from the landlord for the Saturday. What a team Lucina and Donna are and everyone else who is in that team, from start to finish they were on the ball and answered any question I had and went above and beyond in helping me with my move, they got back to my emails almost straight away, I didn’t have to wait more tha. 15 minutes and that’s impressive with how busy the housing market is at the moment, if I called and they were on another call they would get back to me as quick as they could, if anything they were chasing me for what I needed to do, if it wasn’t for them I don’t think my move would have gone through as I had a few complications but Lucina and Donna were on hand every time with help and advice and I’m so thankful to them both. I honestly believe if I had gone with any other estate agents I would still be in the same place, I’m so glad I picked them. The pre-sale experience with Jane was excellent including guiding us to the complete cost of moving - not just the Estate Agents' fees - and she set a very real price, we felt. During the sale we would have liked to have had someone with a name to contact as the phone never seemed to be answered, but once we had emails, we were sailing! Really pleased with the level of professionalism and service provided by the team at Southchurch branch, in particular Jane and Lucina. Jane's experience and knowledge of the local housing market was impressive and left me comfortable my property had been accurately valued and that the sale was in safe hands. She was also open and fair when it came to negotiating and agreeing a sale commission rate. Lucina's tenacity in liaising with other parties in the chain, should be commended. I was also very grateful for Lucina's prompt and reliable communication, never letting me down and calling back timely with answers when she'd promised to. This was a significantly better element of service than I received from my property lawyer, whose shortcomings in this area, tarnished an otherwise excellent experience. Hands down, this has been the best experience of a letting agent I’ve ever had. A big thank you to Bairstows for helping to sell Mum's property. Having had the property on the market elsewhere with little effect, Jane was like a breath of fresh air. Her enthusiasm and confidence in her team to be able to achieve a sale was contagious and we felt sure of success. Although we had a property for a limited market there were numerous viewers which resulted in a sale. We were constantly kept informed, any worries were dealt with efficiently and effectively and we always felt they had our interests at heart. I can not recommend Victoria MacManus from Countrywide highly enough, she has gone above and beyond to make sure a property I had up for rent was rented promptly and everything was in place, prior to the tenant moving in Victoria noticed that a smoke detector was missing, she went and purchased and installed the smoke detector from her own purse to make sure there were no delays, if you have a property to rent look no further that Countrywide and ask for Victoria.
