Title: An Abysmal Letting Agent Experience Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I recently had the displeasure of dealing with Bairstow Eves Letting Agents, and it was an experience that left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. From start to finish, their incompetence and lack of professionalism were evident, with countless issues that made the entire rental process extremely cumbersome. The most glaring flaw was Jason, Freddie and Jessica's abysmal communication skills. They were consistently unresponsive, failing to return calls, emails, and messages promptly. It often felt like we were chasing them for necessary information, updates, or even simple questions. This lack of communication created unnecessary stress and wasted valuable time. Unreasonable Charges: The letting agency imposed exorbitant fees and charges for their services, without any tangible value in return, leaving us feeling exploited and taken advantage of. The lack of transparency in their fee structure only added insult to injury. Overall, my experience with Bairstow Eves Letting Agents was nothing short of a nightmare. From their poor communication, and unreasonable charges, they consistently underperformed and failed to meet even the most basic standards expected from a letting agent. I strongly recommend steering clear of Bairstow Eves Letting Agents to avoid unnecessary stress, wasted time, and unfulfilled expectations. There are undoubtedly better options available in the market that prioritize professionalism, efficiency, and tenant satisfaction.

I’m from the US, and I just immigrated to the UK. I had been staying in a very expensive hotel for more than a month so I was in desperate need of assistance locating a new home. Shaun McCready was the twentieth letting agent I had sent inquiries to, and the first that contacted me back quickly. Although the initial property I had inquiries did not work out. Shaun reassured me that he would find a suitable place for me. He was very helpful, and successfully found me a lovely new home that went above my expectations. I knew when I heard his voice and concern for my situation that he’d be the one to sort it for me. I feel eternally grateful and pleased with Bairstow Eves and would highly recommend their service. Shaun is 10/10 the best letting agent! Thank you so much!

Both Lucina Sherlock and Shaun Baker went out if their way to assist me in all aspects. I was selling a property, however, I live in Canada and our system is totally different. I am a retired Air Hostess with Air Canada 35 years and I know the importance that you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression. Their Customer Service skills are above reproach. It was a huge comfort for me feeling that all was taken care of. I am very grateful to them as it was stressful for me wading into uncharted territory. Blooming amazing!!!! I initially called for some advice and spoke with Shaun, after giving some advice I was informed of some properties up for rent which viewing were arranged quickly. I viewed two properties with Shaun and he was presentable kind understanding of my situation and the contact was great. When I decided to wanted to go ahead with one of the properties I was walked through what I needed todo, even in Shaun’s holiday leave both Dan and Lorraine were brilliant in handling any queries I had, on both occasions when I needed to pop in to sign forms I was allowed to take my dog in also. I have now gotten my keys and move in today!!!!!! Amazing service, amazing staff and an amazing experience all made easy. Thank you all for all your hard work in making my experience a positive one.

It didn't take long to get an offer on our flat. Jane did the valuation of our home and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Later as our sale progressed. Lucina and Donna were very helpful chasing our solicitors who were particularly slow and difficult to deal with. They were very patient with us and we felt supported by them. Not impressed by the service the lack of communication between the staff members is so unprofessional took 3 months to sort out a silly issue after numerous phone calls which literally took Lorraine 5 minutes to sort out today and clear up. so many issues with the flat noting mould being painted over blown kitchen window trip hazard in the kitchen bulbs blown rodent problems cracked tiles in the bathroom toliet leaking and more and yet after all that they still kept the whole deposit for manetince work due to having to give up the flat for unforseen circumstances even tho left the flat in a better state than when I moved in if you're looking at renting I'd highly recommend going elsewheree save your self the stress and money and also If only Lorraine was there from the start, I don't think any of this would have happened.
