I would definitely recommend Your Move, but in particular Hayley!! She helped me non stop what seemed like the longest 10 months ever!! She done everything she could to help me find a house, answered very very quickly and dealt with anything I asked (even while working from home). After a number of times I got turned away she was always so positive and helpful in any way she could be. Hayley made my experience finding a house very easy and relaxing. Without her I would of given up on my search but she worked her magic and got me a house in a lovely location. She really has changed mine and my little boys life finding this house and making it happen for us, so thank you Hayley for always being so dedicated and hard working. Have just moved into a great flat through Your Move. Everyone at Your Move was very helpful throughout the entire process and were quick to give advice or other options when needed. Hayley was managing our move and she was brilliant. Your Move offer help setting up bills and council tax which is really helpful and provide a detailed inventory. The reason I am giving 4 rather than 5 stars is that the way they do their references is outsourced to Experian, and is a long winded and complicated process. Apart from this everything was great and we are very happy with our new flat!

I was very worried about buying a house one my own. Enter Chris Moody. Chris is my mortgage advisor at Your Move. He made me feel at ease with the mortgage application and gave me time to think about what I wanted to do. Buying a property is always stressful but Chris made the financial side of it very simple and easy. I was given all the facts I needed to know to make a decision. Very professional service. Please do not go with Your Move! We moved into a property which was filled with fallen apart furniture, smelly carpets and sofas covered in dog hair and dog food (even the Hoover was broken because it was blocked with the dog hair and dog food!!). We spent a lot of time refurnishing, fronted the costs ourselves and over the year improved the overall living condition of the house massively. We have now had our entire deposit taken for a flea infestation which was clearly there when we arrived, and Your Move are charging two weeks of rent claiming they had to evacuate the tenants and 3x flea treatments. We called the flea extermination company who told us that treatments would only need to be done a maximum of two times and a property only needs to be evacuated for 2 hours per treatment! Your Move Southampton are dishonest, manipulative and prey on naive people! Steer clear!

TL:DR - terrible customer service with arrogant, pushy staff who treat you like an idiot. AVOID for renting if possible!! Although chatty and smiling I found the customer service poor. I had to chase my tail, doing bits and pieces they should have handled! Ended up calling a different branch 3 or 4 times to chase an email that hand't been sent and not once did anyone offer to track down the issue for me. An issue they created! The standing order wasn't set up for the rent. Agents were arrogant and pushy. Incredulous when I had questions about the contract, as if they were shocked I had even read it. Treated me like an idiot. Given the fees and the fact this is a national professional company I would have excepted a greater degree of professionalism and customer service!!

Arrogant & unprofessional, with companies like this it is no wonder that estate agents have such a bad reputation. I was given a viewing appointment time of 12noon, arrived on time with no sign of the agent. After 5 mins the agent appeared from the property and approached me calling me by a wrong name, it was the name of another client waiting to view the property. Your Move had arranged for several people to arrive all at the same time! Treating us all like cattle, so unprofessional. I believe that this is a pressure selling tactic, such an unprofessional approach when they are potentially asking the client to agree a contract of £9600.00 per year and yet they don't respect you enough to give you a one on one appointment... I wonder if the landlord who is paying this company are aware of their tactics? I expect not. Unsurprisingly the agent didn't apologise just ignored me and move other client into the property. Incompetent sales agent, who obviously failed as a 2nd hand car sales person, picked the wrong client. Little did she know that I would have signed today and paid all the rent up front.... Your Move ... You Loose! Will never recommend you to anyone.... Two Bit Unprofessional Operation. The industry and customers will be better off without your company in it.
