We're proud to have been serving the South Leeds area for 30 years, offering a wide range of properties for sale and to rent, not only in Beeston but also in Middleton, Belle Isle, New Forest Village, Holbeck, East Ardsley, Tingley, Morley, Rothwell, Oulton and Woodlesford. Franchise owner Mirek has over 30 years estate agency experience, starting as a negotiator in the City Centre branch and working his way up to Franchisor at the South Leeds office in 2001. Mirek has created a fantastic local team with combined experience of over 70 years who are well placed to answer any questions you have on buying, selling or renting in the area. Whitegates South Leeds bring a mix of traditional estate agency values with modern technology, giving the perfect blend of old and new. I’ve been very impressed with Whitegates in my experience so far. We’ve been tenants for the past 8 or 9 years. We recently had some issues within the house and Emma ensured the communication went smooth between us and a landlord, and that issues have been fixed in no time. GoogleThe team over at Whitegates South Leeds have been nothing but kind, caring and helpful during my first 12 months renting with them. They're always attentive and want to assist with any questions or issue, and are quick to resolve them. Jo has been an absolute star helping me settle into the property and ensuring I'm assisted with anything when needed. Gabrielle has been wonderful recently with the required documentation to sign my contract for another 12 months! Can't wait to stick around with them and couldn't recommend them enough!

I can not recommend Whitegates and especially James enough!! He made a difficult time so much easier. He was fully on my case from the moment it was handed to him. Chasing surveyors, solicitors, buyers and me for anything outstanding. He dealt with all 3rd parties proactively and ensured a smooth sale from offer to completion. I even asked him to sell a friends property at the same time and he had it on the market and sold within a fortnight. If you want professional, proactive and friendly estate agents then call Ehitegates and ask for James. You won’t regret it!

We’ve used letting and selling agents nationwide and have never felt so safe in the hands of a team like this one - highly recommended - it’s increasingly hard to find a team so professional and they deserve the reputation and awards they have so rightly received, we will miss them.

Thanks to Jessica Coote & Helen Hull who made everything possible, I would have been totally lost without them. There were so many hurdles with solicitors on both sides and it was a really busy time for property completions so the solicitors weren't responsive to any of my enquiries. Jess & Helen got every answer I needed and pushed things along in every way possible. Really stopped me from going stir crazy, honestly can't thank them enough. This personal service is invaluable when your solicitors take days to respond (if at all) and you're counting down the minutes to exchange & complete. This is the kind of service I want the next time I am buying or selling a property without a doubt, Thank you both so much!!

GoogleWe sold our property with Whitegates. We met with another estate agent in the area and we knew it was Merik and Whitegates we wanted to sell our house with! Merik was straightforward and very enthusiastic and put us at ease having previously dealt with an online agent. From then on the service was consistent throughout. Helen and Kelly kept us up to date answering all our questions, nothing seemed too much and really felt very personal. My experience when initially putting my house on the market was second to none. Mirek came to my house and gave me valuable advice and was fantastic. Once my house was on the market Kelly and Helen got me lots of viewings by contacting investors and other prospective purchasers. My house sold very quickly and I got weekly updates once a sale had been agreed. My only criticism is that I feel I should have been kept more up to date with offers as decisions in regard to these were often made without my knowledge and with me finding things out maybe 3 or 4 days later. Kelly also only works part-time which I feel may have contributed in that respect. In general however I have had a good experience with Whitegates and would definitely use them again as they sold my house quickly.
Thank you for the lovely review, we agree it was difficult at times due to people working remotely and the property not being of standard construction but so glad we got there in the end for you.

GoogleAbsolutely awful estate agents. I wouldn’t advice anyone to go with them. I was completely in love with the flat I rented with them and this is the only reason I stayed for a long period of time. They would take days if not weeks to respond to any issue within the flat (such as broken doors, leaking showers or broken flooring). They would often not communicate to each other within the office regarding when people had been spoken to, to be able to have the issues fixed. I spent over 6 months with a broken door lock. I had to chase multiple times regarding work being done on the flat. It got to stage I only communicated via email then there could not be any discrepancy as to what information had been passed. There were no emergency numbers provided and when the flat floods due to an old washing machine leaking on a weekend, this is not ideal or proper management of a property. After I ended the tenancy they left a voicemail stating the time and date of an inspection (which would have been charged for if this was missed) when I had not lived in the flat for over 2 months. If I could leave a 0 star rating if I would. Wouldn’t ever use them to rent or buy.
Hi Sophie. I am really disappointed to hear that you were unhappy with the service that you received. I can see that it did seem to take an awfully long time to deal with a problem with your door. In part this was due to us being unable to contact to the landlord for long periods. I can see that there was a leak to the washing machine door seal which was fixed within two days of you reporting this to us and various other repairs which were dealt with within a matter of days. If the office is closed for more than a day (ie, over Christmas) then out of hours emergency contact numbers are left on our answering service and we always give tenants advice when moving in as to what to do in case of an emergency. I am sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with the service that you received from us but I do not feel that this reflects the service that our tenants generally receive from us. Throughout the sale process, we were kept in the loop with the updates from the vendor, quotes from the contractors, and they even lined up the electrical engineer and refurb team to start on the property as soon as it's completed. Whitegates successfully sold my house with a very professional service. Helen Hull was very helpful and explained all the options and details of the process. The sale fell through twice due to sellers problems but Whitegates were active in finding alternatives. Helen regularly kept me informed of progress throughout and was quick to reply when required and always courtious and friendly. The cost of the sale was reasonable and transparent.
