We had a good experience from start to finish during our year long lease.Allison our letting manager was very helpful throughout but especially at the end when we had to move out before the end of the lease at short notice, between her and the landlord they couldn't have treated us any better than they did. Would highly recommend using them.

GoogleThe agents have decided to cancel a confirmed viewing for a Saturday afternoon with not making any effort to call and notify us, we drove to the property 45 minutes each way! Very poor service.
Thank you for your feedback, we are so sorry to read your review. We did email, text and try to call you on Friday to cancel your viewing, we were also on hand had you of phoned on Saturday to come and meet you to complete the viewing.

Allison and Aimee who support the rental side of the business were always friendly, professional and easy to contact. They efficently undertook credit referencing, accompanied me to inspect the property, drafted and got signed the new tenancy agreement and undertook the collection and logging for the deposit scheme. They had up to date knowledge of the legal requirements, were always constructive, got things done promptly and did it all with a smile.I highly recommend them.

All the staff at Paul Meakin were always helpful during the months when we were selling our property and buying a new build home. If I left a message for a particular staff member my call would be returned promptly or dealt with by someone else. Nothing was too much trouble. When our buyer pulled out another buyer was found very quickly so that we didn't lose our purchase. We felt supported all through the buying and selling procedures. We would have no hesitation in recommending their services in the property market.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Emma and Adam at the start of the house selling process and found them engaging, professional and kept me in the loop at every stage, even if there was nothing concrete to report, they kept me abreast at all times, and then unfortunately that is where the positive experience ended. Although it was an unexpected lengthy process, I found the communication poor and I was not kept informed at all stages.

We are sorry you felt communication broke down during your transaction, I can see your sale completed over a month ago and we were unaware you were not happy with our communication. From your file notes I can see that there where a number of contributing factors within the chain out of anyone's control that effected the delayed timeline, we also appreciate that in separations when selling the family home it can become stressful, especially if you do not live there whilst you have to wait for everyone to be ready. Right from the first valuation visit we were greeted with a friendly smile and a straight forward 'no nonsense' 'non pressured' approach and were offered a very competitive selling rate up front without the need to negotiate. It was the same friendly experience with all of the lovely people we then dealt at the Selsdon branch from the marketing of the property right through to completion. As we were selling our parents empty property and were not there ourselves the agents took care of all of the viewings subsequently giving us a breakdown of the various offers made and the position of the buyers which gave us the option of making a good informed decision on who to sell to. Their communication throughout the process regarding updating us on the buyers progress was very useful and meant we weren't totally reliant on 'solicitors' updates which more often than not can be deflective. All in all we could not have been more happy with the professional service received from Paul Meakin and especially all of those at the Selsdon Branch. Thank you.
