GoogleIf I could give 6 stars in a review I’d do it with no hesitation. The staff at Martin &co has helped me and my husband rent a one bedroom apartment in south Croydon in an area we have been looking into for a long time (near Lloyds park).
Contacts have been very quick, smooth and led to a viewing just after a couple of days. Ru (Rugile) very kindly showed me the flat, which was immaculate and a good size, with balcony and parking. She replied to all my questions with professionalism and a smile, and continued to do so by email in the next few days.
What I was particularly impressed by was the fast and easy referencing process. At my last flat it took me a month, countless emails and a lot of stress. With Susan and Martin &co just a couple of days and all online in a portal.
We couldn’t believe when we signed the contract and got our keys that the flat was really ours already!
We are enjoying it a lot, it’s quiet and neighbours very friendly and we couldn’t be happier. Whenever we have a question they or the landlord reply immediately so we hope we will stay in this flat for a long time!
Don’t hesitate to use Martin and Co for your next rent/purchase.

We have only just received from your landlord a schedule of costs that will enable us to discuss the return of your deposit. As a letting agent dealing with a lot of student changeovers there are three challenges, the volume of work compressed into a short time, the need to obtain the check out from the independent inventory company and gaining instruction from the landlord, the last two of which we have limited control off. To be clear however all our deposits are held with the DPS and we cannot access them without your agreement. If we cannot agree the level of any deduction then there is a free arbitration service. We did manage to get an early offer of £325,000 however the prospective buyer got cold feet. Despite several conversations with you whilst I was actually away on holiday you were reluctant for us to reduce the price to reflect the changing market. Unsurprisingly after listing it with the other agent at £300,000 it went under offer quite quickly...
