GoogleThe only plus side was Jessica..Be careful what you sign and agree to make sure you read documents and understand,i didn't know i had an issue regarding my background,but made me feel as tho i was lying.Wouldnt give monies back, long time to get checks back after paying check fee,understand its a difficult time but at least try to ring back when you say.not a nice experience from these...

GoogleThis company is unbelievable. I am amazed it is still in business on the lettings side. Nothing but trouble since day 1 - they get you in the property and then nothing without months of chasing for things to be put right. They come across with an attitude of being above everyone else with the tenant being at the bottom of list. I wouldn't even touch them in future with anybody else's bargepole. They can't even communicate within their organisation and very threatening letters are sent out with incorrect accusations. Thank goodness the property has now been sold to another landlord who knows how to look after their tenants.Just a shame I had to give them 1 star

On Friday 29 April we went to Allen & Harris (A&H) to arrange the sale of our house and paid the required marketing fees. Over the weekend we changed our mind and went straight back to the branch at 10am on Monday 2 May (bank holiday) to cancel. We were told that “as nothing had happened yet (i.e. the photographer/surveyor were not arranged), we would be entitled to a full refund”. We spent the next 8-9 weeks trying to get our money back but were continually fobbed off with excuses and lies...the system is down…it should be paid soon…it should be in your account in a few days…it will take 3-5 working days…, none of which happened. Despite 12-15 emails some of which were not replied to, several phone calls and visits to the branch, the delay in paying this refund just got longer and longer. We asked for the contact details of a senior person with whom we could register a complaint but this was never provided. On Friday 17 June we contacted Resolver, an online consumer complaints company and raised our complaint through them. They emailed our complaint to A&H customer services department in Leighton Buzzard. (At no time did the branch inform us that such a place existed.) A member of staff from this department then started to communicate with us trying to resolve this issue by expediting the payment of our refund. This involved yet more emails and phone calls. However, even then on one occasion they did not call us back when promised. Eventually, on 28 June (58 days after we cancelled) we at last received our refund in our account. This whole fiasco proved to be very frustrating and stressful and if this is an example of A&H’s customer service, we are very glad that we changed our mind when we did and did not proceed with our sale. I will be relating this whole saga to as many people as possible to highlight the way we were treated and the ridiculous delay to payment of a refund which should have been accomplished in days as originally promised, not months. We would definitely NOT recommend this company to anyone.

A&H had to deal with one of the most difficult, awkward and obtuse sellers ever, my ex-wife. Despite her offending most of the team, they stuck with it, through thick and thin, and pushed the sale over the line. They were always brilliant, friendly and professional with me. Big kudos to Charlotte and Michelle for putting up with the terrible treatment, you never gave up! Thank you so much!

GoogleCalled and left messages regarding an important matter. Two weeks later still no call so I call again no answer message left, it is now 12 weeks and still no call back. Terrible service would not recommend to anyone.

When it comes to honoring commitments and customer service, Allen and Harris is the worst company to deal with. I've paid for my lease agreement but for the past 4days, it hasn't been treated. I've called more than 20times but no one is picking up. Seems they close by 12noon everyday now. Terrible Terrible bunch. Wouldn't recommend them.

They are scammers. We paid a holding fee for a property to move on the 12th. They told us no on the 10th and kept our money £279. It is clearly a tactic they use since agency fees are gone. You let people pay a holding fee then tell them no and keep their money.Please don’t go for them. Scammers

Whenever there has been a problem she has been on hand to fix it and the work she gets carried out is always of fantastic standard. We can be totally hands off and just let her find the tenants, fix any problems and not have any of the hassle. Thoroughly recommend
