Having worked in sales for more years than I wish to remember, I can honestly say that upon our first meeting with Simon it was clear we were to be in good hands. Simon is a breath of fresh air. He explained clearly and concisely how the current housing market is whilst maintaining a professional sales strategy. Simon’s passion and positive attitude, coupled with his wealth of experience and determination to be a leader within the industry, was very much evident and was something we as clients embraced. Simon was hands on from start to finish and, with the support of a fantastic team, accomplished exactly what he forecast from the outset, concluding the sale of our home along with the other two properties within our chain in a smooth and timely manner. We have just sold our house in Solihull with Simon Burt. We previously worked with other larger Estate Agents in the area but with no success and disappointing experiences. We previously looked at Simon but were concerned by the size of the company, however it is the size and personal service, with Simon doing the viewings that made the real difference. We have never come across a more honest and reliable estate agent for who nothing was too much trouble. We asked Simon Burt to value Mum's flat on the recommendation of our neighbours, who were very impressed with Simon himself and the speed with which he sold their house. We were delighted when Simon came to visit the flat in person and gave a valuation of £30,000 above what the previous agent had quoted. Deciding we had nothing to lose, we asked Simon to sell the house and asked for the "Full Package" for him to deal with everything, including showing prospective purchasers around. Simon soon found a buyer, and we were pleased with the final price offered. The sale went through without a hitch. Simon is a personable man and ready to answer any query, as was Dawn in Sales Progression. We would not hesitate to use Simon Burt Estate Agents again.

I contacted Simon Burt after viewing a house that I wanted to purchase and needing to get on the market fast. Simon totally understood the urgency and came round that same day at 7pm. Straight away I knew we would get on, Simon clearly has a great knowledge and 'feel' for the market and after a thorough look around and some online research he suggested an asking price that far exceeded my expectations. We’d had a number of appraisals from the big-name estate agents in the area and were all set to market our property with one of them. But at the 11th hour somebody suggested we also try Simon Burt. And thank goodness we did. The appraisal itself was thorough and professional and it valued our home at almost 100k north of the competition. I remember thinking that perhaps the valuation was a little optimistic but nonetheless we felt very confident in the firm and we marketed the property with them. We were overjoyed at the amount of interest we received and so an open day was planned for the following weekend. The open day generated a flurry of visitors throughout the day and we received multiple offers over the coming days. To our delight, the offers went all the way up to the asking price! And this leads me to the part of the process where we really experienced the true value of using this firm. Our upward chain was quite shaky and we relied heavily on the skills and experience of their conveyancing team to keep everything running smoothly and to ensure that everybody behind us in the chain was happy. And so the property was sold and all is well. The whole process was faultless and I have to say that we are thoroughly delighted with the service received. We would not hesitate in recommending Simon Burt the Estate Agent to anyone. Our thanks to everybody involved. 5*

We've just completed the sale of our house today, and could not be happier with the service we have received from Simon and his team, so would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to sell their house. I had initially looked at using an online agent, as I had a recent bad experience using a "traditional" estate agent. Just as I had almost decided on one to use, I saw "Simon Burt - The Estate Agent" offering a similar service with a Fixed Fee. After calling in to their office and talking to Maddy, I was convinced that they were offering a very good value service, with the benefit of having a local service with people you could meet and talk to. Their selling point is the advertised fixed fee of £850 (includes VAT !) which includes valuation, floor plan, quality photos, online listing etc, and most importantly their excellent communications with you throughout. This decision was certainly vindicated as the whole process was expertly and professionally carried out, and most importantly you can contact any of the team, and they will always get back to you. From the very first meeting everything was great - the confidence of the team was really positive to hear. Simon and the team were a HUGE help during the purchase of my first home. From arranging the viewing on a Sunday night at 8pm, and viewing the next day, to being kept up to date at every step of the process it was a breeze! The sale itself did not go 100% to plan, but Simon played a massive and active role in getting the purchase back on track and made sure the sale went through in a timely manner. Simon even dropped in on completion day, in person to check that everything was going smoothly and I was happy with everything. Exceptional! There are no other words to describe the service from Simon and his team. Excellent and highly recommended. Simon cares about what he does and this shows through in his work. The way he is open and honest is refreshing. You can really feel the difference when you sell your house through him. This agency is not like the rest of the high street agents that push you into viewings or don't vet clients properly. Simon came across as very enthusiastic and knowledgable, he also listened and understood our needs and requirements as a seller.
