They exceeded our expectations in terms of quality and customer service and did everything they said they would within their stated timescales. We were delighted to receive an offer well above our expectation within 2 weeks of the property being marketed and the team continued to keep us updated throughout the process through to completion. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Delighted.

GoogleI am glad that I met a good agent (especially attribute to Samantha) in Melvyn Danes Shirley. They are not only competent but also attentive and responsive. As a buyer who doesn't pay them any fee, they not only keep me updated before completion but also help me to take care of the bills and council tax after completion. I will definitely look for them first if I have any property selling / letting in the future.

GoogleFrom the initial consultation, through to completion the team at Melvyn Danes in Shirley provided an excellent service throughout. The sale was slightly complicated as the property had been unoccupied for a number of months, I was not based locally, but the dealing with them from afar. I was kept fully informed at all times and the team also managed viewings and other related matters efficiently. Furthermore the sale was above the original asking price!

GoogleThe first good thing was that we discussed our situation of being first-time buyers and having paperwork in place with LC. She did a brilliant job presenting the factual information to the seller in making a more informed decision. I will highly recommend her for this work. The next phase was even more challenging, where managing the chain was not easy, and the seller had to change their plans due to unforeseeable circumstances. SA handled the situation professionally through continuous liaison with the parties involved and keeping everyone up to date. We were first-time buyers; she offered us guidance to understand the next steps. Here I can tell that her chain management was a lot better than some of the other well-known estate agencies in this area. For these reasons, I would give Melvyn Danes five stars and say well done to Lucy and Sam! I do genuinely hope that their firm values their contributions to their business!

GoogleI have been in touch about a few properties to rent now, and each time i get the same response 'we already have a tenant for that property' which I can understand but why advertise properties that aren't available, some of these properties are still listed as im typing this. I have also emailed back to these replies from Dawn a couple of times enquiring as to whether they have any other suitable properties similar to the ones i have enquired about and I never get a response. I genuinely haven’t had the health to go and give the box of chocolates to her and team - despite picturing doing this! Single dad! Kids! You know how it is. But genuinely Great support and help in getting my first house. Forever grateful!

GoogleI instructed Melvyn Danes to sell my mother's house, as she had to go into a care home. The service was friendly and professional from start to finish. The house was placed in the Market at a realistic price and sold within a few days. I was kept up to date of progress with the sale throughout. Melvyn Danes took all the potential hassle away. I cannot recommend them highly enough and will definitely instruct Melvyn Danes in the sale of my property in the future.

GoogleTried to book a viewing and was told "the drive was too far" I wanted to outcompete other renters for a nice property and was refused the opportunity to view despite putting hours into trying to contact the lettings, anyone with good sales sense knows if somone is putting in effort they will likely pay more. Zero sales sense.
