GoogleFantastic service from start to finish with the sale of my apartment. Initially John Ebbs came out to see me and spent time going through the process, market conditions and recommended asking price. Once instructed I was kept informed of viewings and feedback and once an offer was made everything was handled promptly and professionally. Communication was excellent throughout. Would highly recommend Melvyn Danes if you are looking to sell.

I had a disappointing experience with Melvyn Danes due to a lack of transparent communication. We submitted a verbal offer over the phone immediately after a property viewing, expecting it would be conveyed to the sellers. The next day, we were even scheduled for a follow-up viewing the following day, only to find out that the property had already been sold without our offer being communicated. We were told that a much higher offer was accepted but at the same time saying that our offer was not conveyed to the sellers. This oversight was extremely disappointing and left us feeling that our interest in the property, being treated with bias and deliberate negligence, was not taken seriously.

GoogleAbsolute Disgrace of a Letting Agent I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this letting agent at all costs. Throughout my tenancy, I was met with endless delays and excuses when it came to essential repairs. Simple issues were left unresolved for months, causing significant inconvenience and frustration. To make matters worse, when it came time to return my deposit, they attempted to withhold almost the entire amount without any justification. Despite providing ample evidence and receipts to support my claims, they refused to cooperate, only conceding when I decided to contest with the deposit authority. Their lack of communication, responsiveness, and respect for their tenants is truly shocking. I urge anyone considering using their services to think twice and choose a more reputable and reliable agent.

GoogleReally very impressed by the process of selling my house in Solihull The sale estimate price was right in the middle of the range of everyone else, however, others were unrealistically high and never likely to generate the footfall that Danes achieved. It was decided to open the house for a Saturday viewing session, however, it quickly became aparent that the interest generated required a second day. Clearly the pricing was bang on. The team was happy to lead the viewings and I needed to clarify very little as all information was thoroughly captured when Adam came to survey and provide the recommendations. I was delighted when I received numerous offers either at or above the asking price. Each was reviewed clearly and I was happy to accept an offer of 10% above the asking price. This was higher than the highest alternative recommendation from a competitor, but only possible with the approach to marketing. Following acceptance of the offer, the team guided me through the process, resolving the inevitable issues leading to a successful and stress free sale I genuinely recommend Danes. It’s not often I’ve received such realistic, professional advice and then a superb service from offer to completion Happy to answer specific questions K

GoogleI have used Danes a few times; once for a very realistic valuation on a family property, several house viewings and, some time later, my house purchase. I can't recommend them highly enough. Adam is very knowledgeable and honest, and I value that above all else. He is not held in such high regard for nothing! He has a great team of people around him and even though buying a property can be a long drawn out process, and very stressful at times, I always felt like I was in safe hands and was kept informed every step of the way. Being a first time buyer I needed that sort of comfort and I found it in Danes. I would not hesitate in contacting them if I was thinking of moving again, but they found me my perfect home :)

GoogleDanes have been fantastic, I recently bought a house through them and wished i had also sold through them. Vanessa did everything she could to help us find our new home and was always contactable and vital throughout the offer process, she did everything she could to negotiate for us and keep us posted with suitable properties as soon as they came to market. The after sales from Danes is also brilliant, Sam has been an absolute angel, nothing has been too much for her, chasing the whole chain and keeping us regularly updated with developments and helping to solve issues in a large chain. The team at Danes excel at customer service, I cant recommend this branch of Danes highly enough!!!

GoogleWe sold our house without any hitches thanks to Danes for the price they suggested. While we were away on a week's holiday they showed a dozen people round, half of whom made offers, so when we returned we chose who we thought was the best / most reliable offer and that was that. Really easy, partly because we were in the catchment area for excellent schools but also because of Danes professionalism.

GoogleWe had a very difficult time finding our next home, through no fault of our own, we had 3 houses we were due to buy fall through for one reason or another. Melvyn Danes went above and beyond to keep our buyers fully in the loop and on side, to allow us the extra time we needed to secure our onwards purchase. Sam and Adam really made it all happen and can't recommend them enough. They really did go the extra mile for us.

GoogleMelvyn dances dealt with the sale of mother-in-laws house after her sad passing .as well as a fully professional approach to the job in hand they also treated us with a real compassion during what was a difficult time for the family . Adam who valued the property was first class and his knowledge of the area was outstanding. Sam and all members of her team kept us informed as the process progressed and answered any issues promptly and efficiently. My go to estate agents if I need one again .

They were brilliant and proactive when a property came up that suited our family (which included the needs of my mum who has limited mobility). From the search through the rental period and to the final stages as we handed back the keys they were hard working, thoughtful, friendly, flexible, professional and very responsive.
