I am currently in the process of renewing my tenancy and Lily Johnson is the agent currently on my case. I must express my gratitude towards her, she has been the most efficient, diligent, and knowledgeable housing agent I have ever dealt with. GoogleWe’ve had excellent and professional service from Rickie Westwood at John Shepherd. From finding a property to being completely sorted in less than a week. Rickie was extremely responsive and helpful, answering our questions and resolving any issues. Also, the system that John Shepherd uses to check references and process the tenancy agreement is very efficient (including ability to do e signatures). The whole process was seamless. I can’t express how much I would like to thank you all at John Shepard Collection especially Gurdev and Harry they have more than bent over backwards for my family and sale of our house. It wasn’t straight forward at the beginning as we had built the house ourselves and there was so much paper work that we needed to get for the sale to commence but with all there help and guidance we got there in the end with there advice and patients they done more than there job and for that I am very grateful I am now all sold and looking for our next adventure thanks again guys all at John shep ❤️❤️❤️

We recently purchased a house in Stafford via John Shepherd estate agents. I have to say that the way they dealt with us was exceptional. From the very start they kept us informed of how the sale was progressing. All queries and questions from the sellers were passed back to us promptly. Specifically Mia Cornwall was excellent in dealing with the whole sale from start to finish.

I just got my new flat through this agency and I cannot describe how impressed I’ve been about them professional service ! I don’t even know how to say Thank you to Brendan Pearce , because he was absolutely amazing and he was helping me a lot to get my dream flat ! Even when I was struggling with forms and applications he was totally there for me to help with the best advices. As I had a bad experience before with others agents , Brendan was a truly blessing for me ! I will definitely recommend this agency and for sure I will keep them for my needs in the future! x

Just wanted to say the staff at John Shepard have been great especially Ailish in the solihull office. She was alway quick to respond to emails, sorted out a viewing with the landlord before they’d even had a chance to market the property. This has lead to us being able to get to know the landlord and him us as tenants making the move easier as well. The only downside is the referencing service they use as it seems to be set up on a 50/50 basis so my husband had to pay half then I had to log in and pay half. This isn’t John Shepard’s faults just the was it’s set up.Rickie was also fantastic at getting back to us with any queries in Ailish’s absence.

TrustpilotThey do not allocate house viewings fairly.
The lady I spoke to (didn’t get her name) was quite rude and abrupt. We enquired about viewing a house as soon as it was listed. Was told we would get a call once they had access to the property. We never got a call, so Called back today to be told the viewings are now fully booked meaning they do not allocate viewing fairly as I literally enquired within minutes of the house being published on right move.

Our Lettings Negotiator Destinee Rowe was fantastic to look at the property with. I was left alone to look around the flat we moved into by myself and any questions I had she was able to answer professionally without fail especially about things that could of put me of the flat while viewing it. She helps move the process along quickly which was well needed and always responded to any queries I had quickly and efficiently. She is a credit to John Shepherds reputation.

Thank you Lily at John Shepherd. Given the “virtual “ nature of our relationship, I have to say that I can be nothing other than impressed by her speed to respond to all of my requests promptly and professionally. Oh, and given the amount of questions I asked, her patience was pushed to the limit. But, you wouldn’t have known it. Moved into the flat on Saturday. Lily and the teams post move follow up etc all very welcome. Great customer service all round.

John Shepherd estate agents were helpful under the current circumstances especially, they explained everything thoroughly and were very informative about the processes and what was required of us. Jack Richardson was the agent dealing with our property and acted in a very professional and friendly manner. Overall a comfortable experience with john Shepherd. My only one criticism is we could have been provided with more information on the property itself, such as utility providers and which broadband providers are compatible in the area. This wasnt provided on the date of the move and made setting up accounts to the providers more difficult.

We have had a great experience selling through John Shepard, we recently put our home on the market and have been so impressed with the service. Sophie was initially dealing with us when we were deciding to put it up on the market, she was very proactive following up and always happy to assist. She arranged everything quickly and efficiently to suit us, the photography work and video upload really made a difference to the interest we had, we were very impressed how well they were able to advertise our home.Jordon was involved in doing the viewings for our home, and was very proactive in contacting potential buyers. He was always happy to help when I called with any questions, and very accommodating. Between Sophie and Jordan they were able to bring in a lot of viewings for our home. I was very impressed with their proactive approach and their customer service. We sold our home under two weeks of it being on the market, we couldn’t of asked for more. We will definitely recommend to friends and family and would definitely use John Shepard as a first choice going forward.

We recently completed the sale of our property with John Shepherd during the midst of the pandemic. Gurdev managed the sale in a very professional way. In particular, we were really impressed by Gurdev’s proactive approach, and with the level of communication we had with her throughout the process. All viewings were conducted in a professional manner, feedback was always received on a timely basis and only appropriately vetted, credible buyers were permitted to view the property. We highly recommend Gurdev and her team at John Shepherd.

My experience with the team has been great from the very beginning. From the outset Lauren was helfpul and friendly when coming to view my property to get it on the market. Since then Shannon has been an absolute godsend. She is the person who keeps me the most up-to-date (more than my solicitor) and has always been on and for any questions I have had - and there have been many, but she always takes the time to talk me through the process. I am (fingers crossed) nearly at the end of the process of selling and I would recommend John Shepherd to anyone thinking of putting their property on the market.

This is probably the worst letting agency I have ever used in my life. I have been renting for nearly 7 years in the UK and I definitely had the worst possible experience. The staff is extremely unhelpful, arrogant and ridiculously rude. I had no water in the flat when I moved in, missing letter box keys, fob is not working, broken wash machine, the flat was dirty, messy and not even been cleaned! It took them weeks to fix the problem, definitely wasn't a livable condition when I moved in!!! When I moved out, they tried to charge me £180 for cleaning fee, and blamed me for broken items which were already broken when I moved in and the flat was dirty on arrival! I can guarantee that the flat was 100% cleaner when I moved out compared to when I moved in! I would not recommend that you use these guys to deal with anything from sales to lettings to maintenance. Inaccurate descriptions, lack of timely support, manipulative practices, disrespectful and disgusting services!

TrustpilotAbusive staff, all round bad company.
Abusive staff that shouts whilst denying legal rights to tenants, openly admitted they don't maintain properties so landlords what are you paying for? Have cost us hundreds and damaged my landlords property by lack of maintenance. The abusive staff member has faced no repercussions either baring in mind the abuse on top of admitting he's not done his job (in writing) as well as misadvising to the cost of hundreds (also in writing). Get yourself a better estate agent as a tenant or a landlord, landlords you're paying for literally nothing! Tenants they regularly break the law! This can also impact on landlords. They just say they're doing what they do but have no evidence to ever back it up so request and you won't receive. They have been reported to my local MP multiple times and now once more by myself, I am also taking legal action against them for the lack of management to the tenancy and damages caused by lack of. Fully supported by my legal advisor.

GoogleJohn Shepherd were great to deal with when me and my partner were looking for a new flat, we dealt with Rhianne and another lady who were so helpful and more than once went out of their way to help us. a bugbear of mine and my partners were how slow some other estate agents had been to get back to us, usually weeks and sometimes not getting back to us at all, Rhianne would regularly email us back within about half an hour of our question and made setting everything up so easy I'd highly recommend

GoogleThe team at John shepherd solihull have been great with our purchase. We had a lot of problems with delays from our solicitors and they all individually helped us out to contact them and help the process of the house buy as efficiently as they could. They constantly stayed in touch with us and followed up the solictor on our behalf and stayed in contact with both parties so we always knew what was going on. Special thanks to Danielle and Gurdev who really reassured us throughout the process. I would highly recommend them!

GoogleJohn Shepherd was recommended to me by a friend as I was a first time buyer and needed all the help I could get. I spoke to Sophie over the phone and she advised me that it would be better if i came in to do a property search with her in person. She made me feel calm, confident in her abilities and at ease with the whole experience. I was very impressed that someone so young could be so polite and professional, even when i decided later that i didn't want to go ahead. You should be proud to have someone like her in your office.
