GoogleJohn at Morfitt Smith was fantastic and so incredibly helpful in helping us buy our first house. Communication was spot on and even when we encountered a problem after the sale was complete, he helped us to quickly rectify it. I would absolutely do business with them again!

GoogleMorfittsmiths were fabulous at selling me a property. I didn't sell my property with them but I were to sell my current one I would most certainly use them. Josh was amazing with us and he did more for me than what my estate agent did. Would definitely recommend them did a great job 110% effort.

GoogleCant fault them one bit, all staff weve dealt with have been amazing from start to finish. Even helped us when they didnt need too. John was particularly great helping us even when he had his own struggled. Also reccomend Andrew who works along side them with elmo Finance. He was amazing throughout the process. Thanks guys!!!

GoogleAfter leaving a rented property, I was charged a lot of money for 'cleaning and removal' even though I cleaned myself. The reasons included a small amount dust on the light fittings, a small piece of cardboard I left by accident as well as a couple of other small things. This went into dispute and part of my deposit was taken (some of it I agreed with, most of it I didn't). They still to this day never sent me a bill of charges/receipt to show exactly what my deposit was spent on. They also claimed other things were wrong when I moved out and tried charging, clearly they forgot that had emailed them with pictures at the very beginning.

Hi Sam. I’m sorry you’re disappointed by the outcome of your deposit return last year. This is never the result we want which is why all of our deposits are protected by the DPS (Deposit Protection Service) so they can remain impartial with any dispute of a deposit return to the landlord. Looking back at the records we can see you received 89% of your deposit back and that you didn’t submit any evidence to the DPS to dispute the cleaning. As this was resolved more than 12 months ago the record was since closed by the DPS. There was a single deduction of the minimum amount possible to pay for a cleaner to attend the property. In the end the deduction didn’t actually cover the full cost of the cleaning that was done to the property. You should have received an email from the DPS directly at the time you responded to them last year. Our Lettings manager will also email you a copy of the invoice for the clean.

GoogleIf you need to let your property then we highly recommend you consider using MorfittSmith Estate & Letting Agent. We recently engaged their services to let our property and the whole process was very efficient. The staff are friendly and guided us through everything. They were quick to reply to emails and telephone calls no matter what our query or concern. Finding the right tenant for us (and the property) was clearly their main aim and they did not disappoint us. Thank you MorfittSmith, your customer service was excellent.

GoogleCan not praise Morfittsmith - Hillsborough Branch enough!!! From the very first appointment where we met John for the initial consultation, he was extremely friendly, professional & very knowledgeable of the local area as to where the property was situated. We decided to appoint them as consultants to market our property & within a very short time were assigned a member of staff, Alex Cocker to be our point of contact. Photo's were arranged & board up all within a few days. Throughout the whole sale process, Alex has been extremely professional & helpful, keeping us constantly updated at all times, his persistence with the solicitors was invaluable as we do believe without his assistance it could have taken much longer for the sale to complete. Would highly recommend the company & would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

GoogleI used MorfittSmith recently to sell my house and I could not have been happier with their service. From the first valuation of the house I could tell that this agency really wanted our business. They provided detailed market research of the local area, which showed clear local knowledge. Throughout the ups and downs of the moving process they were highly professional and came through for us at short notice when the inevitable hiccups of house moving happened. They were always responsive and provided good advice and kept a clear head. I would strongly recommend them.

GoogleWhen we were deciding who to sell our house with we were overwhelmed and had 5 different estate agents come to view and value. We chose Morfitt Smith, although they were not the cheapest we knew they were the best value for money and took pride in what they do. From when Ollie came to take the professional photos of our house we were advised with tips and hints to help sell our property. All members of the team have been particulars helpful and professional. We had a sale fall through on our house and I knew we had made the right choice with them because they were so efficient when helping us find another buyer. GoogleJust spoke to a very rude aggressive lady who neither wanted to or cared to help with my enquiry, would avoid unless you like jumped up estate agents patronising you. Disgusting behaviour. Edited due to comments below: At no point was I rude or aggressive to any member of staff, to try to deflect the blame of poor customer service onto the customer is pathetic. I have viewed quite a number of properties recently and no one in any of your competitors offices has been so abrupt and needlessly aggressive with myself, being unable to view a property is disappointing, but being left upset because you make a genuine enquiry and get aggression back is unforgivable. Why would anyone leave their contact information after that sort of service? I suggested several alternatives and was told I cannot view the property unless its in one tiny window on one day only. Just a terrible experience all round.

Our team offered you a number of possible appointments on the launch day for this exceptionally popular property (which was almost fully booked when you called). I am sorry that your and your partner’s busy schedules meant it was not possible for you both to attend any of the appointments that were still available. We have very good reason to expect this property will sell immediately with a number of offers over the asking price. We did offer to take your contact information and inform you immediately if another round of viewings were made available in the following days. You refused to leave any contact information, so we were not able to offer you any news about the property or its availability. We are currently abiding by all COVID restrictions in order to provide safe viewings for everyone who has already booked in to attend. We cannot bend the rules to squeeze in extra viewings as an exception for anyone. We would never want to risk putting you or our team in an unsafe environment. I appreciate how disappointing it can be to miss out on an appointment because of a hectic schedule. So please don’t accuse our team of being rude and aggressive when you have treated them rudely & aggressively yourself. Our teammate who you spoke with was quite shocked by your call and was mortified that you felt the need to leave such a negative review when she made every possible effort to accommodate your request. We don’t want you to miss out on a home you are excited about if it does become available for future viewings.
