We sold and bought with Morfitt Smith. They are a super friendly and helpful team and there fee's were more competitive than other estate agents that we looked at. The selling process was stressful but nowhere near as stressful as the last time we sold with a different agent. That said, covid made the process more difficult than it should have been but Morfitt Smith were always at the end of the phone or email and were helpful and responsive. We worked with the same agent called Karen so she knew exactly where we were at without having to review notes etc and that definitely reduced the stress levels. We have now downsized to a "rest of our lives" home with no intentions of ever moving again but we would use Morfitt Smith again if circumstances required. Thankyou Karen and Morfitt Smith

We used the Hillsborough branch for a recent sale and found them to be extremely professional and efficient. John does come across as a bit of a salesman when he comes to value but what is most clear is the pride he takes in the company and his staff and their dedication to your sale, which was certainly confirmed for us once we instructed them. He was actually interested in the house, thought about things that might put potential buyers off and made a few suggestions for how best to show the property. We had two asking price offers within 24 hours of going on the market. Now I have to say that I don't think this had anything to do with Morfitt Smith because these viewings were booked in once the house was on rightmove and we showed them around. So in terms of speed of sale, we might have done just as well going with an online estate agent. However, Morfitt Smith got us on the market within a few days of us instructing them - extremely quick and with a great looking brochure - something that no online agent could have done. But where they really came into their own was the after sales process. Karen was incredibly helpful, kept us up to date on everything that was going on with the solicitor and chased various people up to make sure that the sale went through speedily and without any issues. There were several times where Karen updated us on the progress with solicitors before our solicitor did, which is saying a lot considering we called the solicitor regularly and were chasing him up ourselves. Nothing was ever too much trouble when we called the office and they also kept our buyers happy and up to date. The only slight negative was the photos - the guy who did them arrived fifteen minutes earlier than expected and couldn't be out of the house fast enough. He literally raced around and was out within a couple of minutes. I wasn't expecting him to be there for long but the general feeling was that he wanted to be done ASAP, not that he wanted to do a good job. Total contrast to the rest of the experience with Morfitt Smith, but the professional photographer is probably the one used by all local agents so that wouldn't stop me from using them. So all in all I am very pleased that we chose Morfitt Smith and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Their tagline "we care about your move" sums it up pretty well. Great service.

The sale was linked to a berievment and the sensititivity shown throughout the process has been outstanding. I would highly recoment the agency as a whole but particular mention to Melissa from the valuations team and Rachel who handled our sale for all their help.
