GoogleI received a call from Harjivan yesterday confirming that the property was mine and that I just needed to put down the holding deposit. I explained that I was at work and could not make the payment immediately. I was reassured that this was not a problem and that I could pay the holding deposit today. When I called this morning to make the payment, I spoke with Collin. His attitude was extremely rude and dismissive. When I explained what Harjivan had told me, Collin said that this was “not his problem” and that “this is how we do things,” showing no empathy and making no attempt to resolve the situation. The overall tone was very much “that’s your problem.” This was particularly disappointing as I had expressed how excited I was about the property. The experience was let down entirely by poor communication and unprofessional customer service.
Hi Cherie - We are sorry that you lost out on the property. We have a process in place which is clearly stated in the tenants’ advisory notes which you were sent, stating that putting a holding deposit down secures a property for you. Unfortunately, you did not send in the required funds and somebody else put their holding fee down before you. This process was put in place as we have a large number of tenants who say they want a property but never end up paying the deposit. Once again, I am sorry you missed out on this property but as already confirmed to you we would be happy to help you with your search. Best wishes from all at The Frost Partnership Estate Agents.

GoogleMoving in was absolutely fine and I had no issues at all. Unfortunately, moving out was a completely different experience. They tried to deduct as much as they possibly could from my deposit, charging extremely high prices for things that were honestly ridiculous. They even attempted to take utility bills from my deposit before they had been emailed or sent to me, and before I was even aware of the amounts. I ended up winning the appeal, which says enough. I was recommending them at first, but the way the end of my tenancy was handled has completely changed my opinion. I understand contracts and fair charges where things are left behind, but instead of being honest with pricing, they go straight for the highest charges. Overall, I’m extremely disappointed with how they tried to get money out of me.
