Big Thanks to Raj from Connels team who invested his time to deal with all of our queries and we sincerely appreciate his dedication and availability at all the desirable times. It has been 2 years since we connected with Connels and each time we needed to change our house, they helped us through and through. Before our contract got finished with our previous house, they managed to get us even more better house to let which suited all of our necessities and requirements. Very unprofessional agency, booked my viewing on Saturday at 1:30pm and agent never turned up. Flat 20 on Lyons way is on 3rd floor, knocked the door no reply. Called the mobile number he called from, it was switched off. Called estate agents landline number at 1 pm no response. On website it says closing at 2pm. Any changes in plan should be informed. We drove 15 miles for viewing just for disappointment.

I had a very poor experience with the Slough lettings branch. After being told on 15th September that my tenancy would not be going ahead due to reasons beyond my control, I should have received my holding deposit back within 7 days, as required by law. Instead, I was repeatedly given incorrect timelines and little to no communication from the branch. My calls/ emails were not answered and I was left completely in the dark about the status of my money. It was only after escalating the issue through head office (with multiple emails and phone calls) that the funds were finally returned on 1st October, nearly two weeks later. I have since found out from the accounts team that the branch only completed the necessary paperwork yesterday, meaning I was never going to receive the deposit within the timelines they had originally promised. This process was unnecessarily stressful, caused delays in securing another property with a different agency , and could have been avoided with honest communication and efficiency. I would strongly urge anyone dealing with this branch to be cautious and ensure everything is followed up in writing!

It's evidently clear that they have an overwhelming amount of business coming their way. I recommend investing your money elsewhere rather than waiting for a colleague to return your call. I reached out twice about investing in two properties, and on both occasions, I was told by Ali, that Bal from the office would call me back. So, yesterday I cancelled my subscription through rentola and have successfully rented spacious flats on the old Horlicks site. Save your time and invest elsewhere people.
