Stephanie Toal was an excellent estate agent to work with and played a key role in helping this transaction reach exchange. As the acting conveyancer on the matter, I was particularly impressed by Stephanie's proactive approach and dedication. The day before exchange, an urgent issue arose that needed to be resolved quickly. Despite it being close to 5pm and approaching the end of the working day, Stephanie took my call, immediately understood the importance of the matter, and took action straight away. What really stood out was her commitment to seeing things through. She continued liaising and providing email confirmations well beyond normal working hours, with correspondence continuing after 7pm, ensuring that everything necessary was in place for the transaction to exchange contracts. We cannot recommend Maedeh highly enough. We are currently in the process of buying our new home, and with delays and complications surrounding the sale of our existing house and flat, it has been a particularly stressful process. Throughout it all, Maedeh has been absolutely fantastic. This review reflects my experience with Connells Estate Agents SLOUGH in relation to the sale of my property, which remained listed with the branch for over two years. During this period, I experienced ongoing communication issues, including unanswered emails, missed call-backs, inconsistent updates, and repeated instances where I was required to chase for information regarding the progress of the sale. On multiple occasions I was advised that somebody would return my call or provide an update, however this frequently did not happen without further follow-up from myself. A buyer was introduced in June 2025 and correspondence took place between 12/06/2025 and 16/06/2025, followed by a Memorandum of Sale issued on 11/07/2025. Despite this, I did not receive proactive communication regarding the progression of the sale and was ultimately required to chase for updates in September 2025. It was only after making enquiries myself that I was informed the buyer had withdrawn. There had been no communication provided to me between July and September regarding this development. I also experienced concerns regarding inconsistent pricing information during the marketing process, including changes to the advertised pricing structure which I did not specifically request. In addition, I was repeatedly encouraged to reduce the asking price and participate in promotional campaigns, despite the lack of clear reporting or accountability regarding previous marketing activity and progression. Throughout the matter, I had made it clear that communication should be conducted via email due to personal health circumstances and that my daughter had been included in correspondence where urgent matters arose. Despite these instructions, telephone contact continued on multiple occasions and my stated communication preferences were not consistently followed. My dealings included communication with branch staff and management, including Hari and Anthony. While some assistance was provided at various stages, I remained concerned by the overall lack of continuity, attention to detail, and accountability regarding the management of the sale process. Overall, I found the service lacked consistency, transparency, structured communication, and effective progression management. This review reflects my genuine experience based on my direct interactions, written correspondence, and the handling of my property sale over an extended period.
