I spoke with Tom at your move about viewing a property in old skelmersdale and was told they did not have any staff to conduct a viewing for a week or so due to having a shortage of staff .we then done a drive by viewing on the property and liked it so much decided to go straight to the office and put a offer in for the full asking price , only to be told when we got there someone had an offer accepted having viewed the property the previous day ,on the day I had originally phoned up to ask for a viewing !! Not to be trusted ,unfortunately may have to use them in the future ,shortage of estate agents advertising property’s in SkelmersdaleNegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Should me minus 10 for this what that breinless cheaters are doing. I bought many houses, but this agency is horrible. No manners, no knowledge, no will to cooperate or help. And if the offer is accepted it does not mean that they have stopped looking for higher offers. Worst experience I had.

To any first time buyers, make sure you don't get "gazumped" especially by these cowboys!! Sending off all my info to their conveyancing team who got in touch with me, saying the house is mine as I was highest offer and then giving it to someone else!! Bunch of time wasters. 0 stars if I could.

Phoned to book a viewing and spoke to a very rude Gentleman to be told that they haven’t got time to do a viewing and if I was that interested I can put an offer in. I’m sorry to burst his bubble but if I’m buying something for 150k I do want to view it. He then said because I wouldn’t speak to his mortgage advisor if I was to view and offer I would have to speak to the advisor to get financially qualified disgusting agency avoid at all costs

After arriving and explaining to one person what I was looking for, a woman started talking to me over the top of the guy I was trying to have a conversation with. I found that rude to start with. She then continued to tell me I am looking for the wrong thing. "what I should want to do is buy houses to let out". No, I specifically said at the start of the conversation that I don't want to do that. When I tried to explain again, she cut me off and just told me they have nothing for me... She then turned away while I was talking to her so I left. I will not be going back.

I would have given them zero star if that was possible. When I put my house up for rent with Your Move, I took the premium cover plus insurance. They weren't taking care or looking after the house as they supposed to and then on the report they make it so gleaming. I happened to go to the house and saw evidence of subletting, smoking and just a filthy house. When I contacted them, they promised to call back in like 3 different occasions but will never call back. Whenever I turned up at the office I don't even get offered a seat. On both reports they said there was no evidence of subletting or smoking. When I raised it up with the manager they blatantly try to justify it. When I raised the issue with the complaint department they only offered to conduct an other report. I now asked to take over the management myself coz I'm doing a better job than they are. I have been paying them about £80 a month for the past 18 months and now that I'm taking over the management, they charging me £570 extra. Which I see as just an extortion. I will never even recommend my worst enemy to use Your Move and I will never have any dealings with them. They have no sense of professionalism, they don't get back to you when they say that they will get back to you, making you to keep chasing them up. I also asked them to divide the payment of the £570 into two equal separate payments and they decided to keep the whole month's rent to get their charges. Now leaving me to struggle to make ends meet, especially in this current situation of Covid19. This is by far the worst experience. Absolute disgrace of a company. Pushed the seller to move out when there was no need from the buyer side, accused the buyer with their financial services checks of money laundering, when they didn't understand the transaction as the house was being bought through a business, yet the solicitors and mortgage company were perfectly ok with. Incompetent at best, now only dealing with these clowns from the Skelmersdale branch through the solicitors.

Wouldn't recommend your move to anyone. Absolutely disgusting company. When I found my house, I informed your move that it would be two weeks until I could get into the bank to sort my mortgage due to high demand and working round my work schedule. Sharon Nicholls then told me that the sellers would get impatient and may sell to someone else and she could get me a cheaper deal. Upon application I was told to bring bank statements,  I.D. and 3 months of pay slips. And asked my partner to sign a piece of paper to say that you agree to paying Your move £500, this was never explained to us why we had to pay this but we payed because we was scared of losing the house. After getting the £500 sharon wanted p60 which I didn't have at the time. A week later my work gave me my p60 and gave your move it. The mortgage application failed. Sharon then found us another mortgage. A couple of days later she wanted my child tax letter (I didn't inform sharon I get child tax due to when me and my partner move in together I won't be entitled to) so I told her that I didn't want it on my application as I wouldn't get it and asked where she got the information from, she got this information from bank statements,  which i wasnt aware that they could go through. I couldn't find the letter. She then informed me that I wouldn't get the mortgage as it wasn't affordable without it and started getting aggressive with me so much so that someone overheard the conversation and was shocked how she was speaking to me. The next day I got a phone call of Tom (who spoke to me disgustingly) saying they wanted it as the seller was getting impatient. I found half of my letter and sent it to sharon saying what I'm entitled to. Sharon wanted the whole 6 pages (I didn't have the rest) 3 days later I get a new child tax letter and handed it in, that day I also had an appointment with halifax and i had gotten further in that hour than what i did in 3 months with your move. I was also informed on that day that the house I was trying to buy was actually back on the market and had been for a week. I then told sharon to cancel my mortgage application as I didn't want it. I then sent an email saying: Hello, Could you email me all of the paperwork that i have signed, for any fee's that i have paid. Also, could you please let the seller know that we have changed our lender and solicitors and that the surveyor has been instructed and should be round at the beginning of the week so monday/tuesday providing that someone will be in the house. I find it really difficult to talk to you on the phone and feel as if you and your colleagues are taking advantage of my age and inexperience in these matters. I find it very frustrating the way you talk over me on the phone just like my whole experience since making the decision under your advice to come to your move. I have not recieved any form of documentation/list of what i may need to produce. Until the application had gone through and i had given you money which has delayed and confused matters which has lead us to go to where we wanted to go in the first palce from our bank. I have been given little and conflicting information and feel as if none of my questions have been answered. From now on i would like you to back up everything that is said over the phone sent through to me as an email so i have a paper trail of everything that is going on. Could you also tell me what the next steps are for buying the house as they are selling the house through you. We've had our mortagage approved, the surveyor will be round within the week, so can you tell me the next steps in writing. She didn't reply so I informed the financial ombudsman who got the complaint started to get the £500 back which they refused twice because I didn't have evidence of the phone calls.

Absolutely appalled with this company. Having had a viewing I left a message to the agent shortly after but he never called me back. I called again 45 minutes later to get through to the agent handling the property and made an offer. 3 day’s later the property shows on Right Move as STC although these people never called to advise that the offer was rejected! Absolutely disgraceful behaviour on behalf of the Estate Agent! Shambles!
