We spoke with several agents and whilst SW may be a bit more expensive, it was definitely worth it as they managed to get asking price within 2 weeks of going to market which set up brilliantly for our onward purchase. We had to have the house valued to establish whether it was worth extending it or whether it was best to sell and buy something bigger. As we had bought the house through Samuel Woods at the time, we contacted them. We called on Friday, and the appointment was made for Monday. Russell Griffin came to value our house, and he was punctual, friendly and knowledgeable. Even though it soon became clear that we would probably extend, and that there wasn't anything in it for his company, he took his time explaining everything to us. Would highly recommend.

GoogleDo not consider renting a property conveyanced by Samuel Wood you won’t get anything resolved during or after the tenancy as they are not professional enough to keep the tenant in-the-loop. I have lived in a rented property conveyanced by Samuel Wood for three years and for example, the new bath taps bought by the landlord are still sitting on the end of the bath waiting to be fitted. This is two years later! The final insult to injury is that I am now waiting for my deposit to be returned as I have moved, and it’s 10 days on. I wouldn’t mind if there was anything they would like brooch with me before disclosing the deposit, but I’m the one chasing them and saying is there a problem? They can’t be bothered to phone me back! So now they have finally told me there are a few problems and that they phoned and left a message at the 7 days point. That’s 7 days! How many people can afford to be without their deposit money for 7 days! I have asked them to get a quote for what they are proposing, even though I disagree, as I need this moving forward today and I’ve left the area. I feel like they have me over a barrel and there’s nothing I can do! I'm absolutely appalled.

Dishonest and unscrupulous, beware they will just keep your deposit for no reason, be warned if you use these you will lose money, thieves. I am going to take legal action against them.

Not a good experience, they use letting hub as a reference company and that company is a joke. It affected our health really bad. Estate agent wasn't too bad, they did try to help but it's became too much for us.
