GoogleAfter having no success through an online estate agency, I offered Oakmans the chance to take it on for us. The service we received was great! We’d struggled getting feedback from viewers with the online agent but with Oakmans - because they created a relationship with potential buyers, this wasn’t a problem. The sale was secured soon after transferring to Oakmans. Thanks!!

TrustpilotOutrageous Oakmans
I had heard horror stories about Oakmans but thought them untrue, I was proved wrong. Oakmans made false claims trying to keep our deposit. As tenants, we tried to resolve these claims with Oakmans directly. Firstly, we attempted to call Oakmans but we saw online that they were not accepting calls regarding deposits, this was our first red flag. So we emailed Oakmans immediately to explain our reasoning and inquire about the deposits, we even sent them photos as proof. Oakmans were everything but helpful. They responded to our emails saying they still wanted the money in dispute and hadn't listened to anything we had said. Therefore, we turned to the Deposit Protection Service for help which has taken a very long time but has finally finished in our favour.I feel that Oakmans have been extremely unhelpful and tried to withhold our deposit. Oakmans estate agents have been borderline fraudulent and rude towards us and I would warn everyone especially students to stay as far away from them as possible.
