What a great team! Heartfelt thanks from us for your patient, attentive, and unwavering support from beginning to end. The location was a bit off-putting to some, but you did a great job of persuading people to view, and almost without exception they loved the place when they got here. We owe a particular debt of thanks to Richard Goodman who was brilliantly diplomatic, charming and full of good reason throughout the negotiations with all the interested parties. Overall, we'd say the team at Goodman & Lilley served us (buyers and sellers alike) really well. Concessions had to be made on both sides before we could reach our final agreement, but we got there with a happy ending all round. Thank you.

We bought our house with Goodman and Lilley, they were fantastic! The manager, Teresa was really helpful and took brilliant care of us on our search. The sales progressor (a role I had never heard of) Lucy, was really great at organising the chain so we could all move as quickly as possible. Thank you very much to Sascha & John W for excellent service in selling two bespoke new-builds by Landhaven Homes. Their advice on specification and preparing the properties was very helpful. They then found buyers part-way in to the build; and managed the sale right through to completion and handover to two very happy new owners. Sascha was always professional, friendly and hard-working in her dealings with us and prospective purchasers. She kept us informed throughout, was easy to contact and a pleasure to work with. Have already done a review but made a mistake and put it on the portishead branch .oops Goodman and lilley were fantastic from beginning to end of a very stressful time. Theresa has got to be the best and makes you feel like a friend . She actually sold us the house 10 years ago and then in 2 weeks had it sold for us Adam was brilliant from the pics and showing our home to the best potential and treated it as his home . Shirehampton branch AVOID AT ALL COSTS. A whole host of disasters. Staff lying about viewings being booked/cancelled and pretending they had gone ahead and creating feedback from potential buyers. TERESA particularly unprofessional and rude. Left my house unlocked for more than 48 hours after a viewing. Does not present a professional ‘face’ of the business. Staff constantly giving potential buyers incorrect information (despite me writing a crib sheet to try and rectify this problem) and ‘talking down’ about the area the property is in. Failing to qualify potential buyers, failing to represent my interests. I switched to the Henleaze branch and found Andy to be extremely professional and helpful. He offered to try and rectify the errors made by the Shirehampton branch and succeeded. Well done to Andy. Make him manager at Shirehampton!

Manager Chris was great, however other staff were unresponsive to email & calls for weeks and weeks until we made a complaint. They also tried to change the ad of the property we were buying after our offer had been accepted, didn't tell us when an offer had been made on our property and tried to overcharge us at the end. Did not find them very honest and wouldn't use again.
