GoogleI can highly recommend this company! Adam was extremely helpful and promptly answered any queries I had relating to the sale. He is both very efficient and friendly as are the other members of the company I dealt with. So if you are looking for a wonderful Estate Agents Goodman & Lilley is the place to go!

GoogleLast year we sold our flat and then bought a house.We used this agency when buying a house and we can highly recommend it. Everyone is very helpful, cares about their customers and answers any questions very quickly. I can say that we regret not choosing them from the very beginning to sell our flat. We chose Ocean and were disappointed. G&M offered us much more attention and assistance.

Everyone is very helpful, cares about their customers and answers any questions very quickly. I can say that we regret not choosing them from the very beginning to sell our flat. First used this agent to value our house, which they undervalued. Agent came gave us a low asking price, but tried to convince us as they had some ‘ready to go’ buyers who had lost out on another property in the area. Despite us explaining that the other property was smaller, and with less desirables such as large garden, offstreet parking, extension etc would only budget slightly on proposed sale price - we went with another agent that agreed with what we valued it at and got a sale ABOVE the highest price GL were intending to start with in the first place. Clearly wanted a quick sale at lower price. We then found a house for sale with GL. Having agreed to raise our offer 4 times (the last two times on the basis that that would ‘seal the deal’), they suddenly announced that a new bidder had come in (less than 2hrs before COB on the day we were told our 4th bid would seal the deal) and so would we increase a 5th time! Clearly manipulated us to where they thought they could get more in a bidding war - so we pulled out. The initial negotiator also did not have the courage to tell us, left it to a manager and then emailed us a few days later saying ‘i assume so and so were in touch, good luck with your search’. No-one had got in touch to explain. Overall, poor service from both angles of a house sale/purchase. Avoid.

GoogleI just bought my first house through Goodman and Lilley. I actually had a couple of sales fall through before this one proceeded, they were very helpful throughout and did everything they could to make this happen. Adam and the team have a very personal approach to their customers, when you ring them it's clear that everyone knows what's going on with the different sales and communication is really good. They also are honest with all parties and I felt very safe as a first time buyer with them. Would highly recommend particularly compared with other larger outfits working in Bristol.

Since the first minute we met her, Sascha has been nothing but kind, friendly and helpful and professional. She has dealt with our many enquiries with sheer professionalism and has gone out of her way to help in every way she possibly could. You couldn't ask for a better agent to deal with than her. GoogleCan only sing the praises of Goodman & Lilley and more specifically Sascha and Claire. Claire was lovely in helping answering some of my concerns with the application stage, and Sascha was kind and patient throughout, even with all the hiccups and stresses that the process brought along the way. I never felt like I was pestering or taking up too much time like I do with many other lettings agencies we've contacted over the last few months, and Goodman and Lilley really provide the personal touch that made me feel so much better about finding a house to rent. Sascha never gave up on us even with our complicated situation and was always making sure to send over new properties where many lettings agents wouldn't even call back - her personality was a breath of fresh air and so warm which definitely helped to ease the stress. GoogleAfter several less than ideal experiences with letting agents I couldn't recommend Goodman Lilley enough. Sascha was friendly, professional and very helpful throughout the whole process. Could not fault the team at all. Any issues got sorted very promptly and with great ease. If I could give more stars I would! Definitely recommend to anyone looking to rent a property.

GoogleI've been a tenant with Goodman & Lilley for a year now and always found them responsive and deliver the best quality of service I've ever found. This year I needed to move to a bigger house, and with the housing situation in the area where potential tenants far outweigh available properties so many other Lettings Agents have had a can't be bothered attitude as they know they will be able to let the property one way or another. However, both Sascha and Claire were the complete opposite. Even though the property I eventually got was beautiful and I imagine had lots of perspective applications I was always treated like a customer and both provided me the greatest respect and care. I cannot sing the praises of Sascha, Claire and the whole Goodman & Lilley team. GoogleI recently sold my property through Goodman & Lilley in Shirehampton and would highly recommend them. My property had only been marketed for a week when I had my first offer. 1 week later I received a second offer and the sale was agreed. In those 2 weeks there were a high number of viewings and the sales team kept me informed throughout. Nathan was my main contact along with Adam although whenever I contacted the office all the staff were helpful and informative. There were delays and difficulties with the sale mainly down to solicitors. Nathan smoothed this over and kept the sale on track. I would highly recommend them as a friendly professional team who proactively sold my house.

GoogleI seriously can not praise Alison Davey enough. If you need a property let or managing she is definitely the dream Agent hands down. Finally, in this industry I have found someone who takes the initiative to call around getting things sorted instantly, instead of paper pushing. This clearly shows her level of expertise and I am just grateful to have worked with Ali on a recent property let.
