GoogleWe were having a nightmare whilst going through our process of selling our flat when we finally took the decision to change estate agents to country properties in shefford, steph was excellent from start to finish got the people who were appropriate to actually buying our property not just everyone, the experience from start to finish was brilliant (even when the impending stress and snippy messages our end crept in steph was still amazing with us), couldn't recommend enough and if we ever sell again we will definitely being using steph and the team.

We found the house we loved Sam & Evie went above & beyond to advertise our house & show people round.
We had a few issues with solicitors holding up the chain, Steph & Jamie were fantastic at keeping everyone updated the whole way through, it definitely wasn’t any easy sale !
I could call them anytime they reply to e-mails straight away.
Steph made sure everyone was updated on the process at all times.
There was NO hard sales or hidden costs.
Shefford country properties definitely work together as part of team and that really shows.
Would definitely recommend them to anyone !

I am not sure if this is a one-off or is a more regular occurrence of how the company conducts itself.
Landlords be aware that you could be losing out on trustworthy, professional tenants through no fault of your own.

GoogleTook my time to write a covering letter and application for a property, but turned out the property was already let and they had not bothered to remove it off the website. They did not even have the courtesy to reply to my application and let me know the property was already let and still to this day I have had no reply. The only reason I found out is because I called up anonymously asking about the property and was told it's already gone. After that call it was still up for a few days so I made another enquiry (not as myself) and that is when they finally bothered to take the property down. Find this really unprofessional and unkind to just ignore people and not even say thank you for your enquiry but unfortunately the property has already been let, apologies that the website was not up to date, etc. I took hours writing my covering letter and application and all that time had false hope that I potentially found the new home of my dreams only to find out they were just not proactive enough to take it off their own website or Rightmove and Zoopla. Really upsetting and not impressive at all. I am not sure the role of estate agents, but I always thought they were here to help you find a home, so I am just surprised they didn't email back any suggestions of other properties they have or put people on a shortlist of people that are searching for homes. I guess we are all just numbers these days because they probably have a million and one enquiries and no properties. Oh well.

We had some initial issues with communications over making an offer, but once they were resolved, the team at Country Properties did brilliant work at making sure the transaction stayed on track through the legal work, exchange and completion. Tayler especially did some excellent work to get the transaction through the latter stages of legal work, exchange and completion - she was negotiating with all parties in a lengthy and complicated chain. Would definitely recommend this branch to any other potential buyers and sellers.
