We have been helping clients since opening our High Street office in 2004. We help sellers and landlords in Shefford and the surrounding villages find the perfect buyer or tenant. GoogleFrom instruction to completion, Jamie and his team at Country Properties made sure that I was kept up-to-date with the progress of my transaction. They even went "the extra mile" by chasing the lower chain, even though they were not instructed by that seller. If ever anyone in the area needs to sell, I will always recommend Country Properties

Google10/10 service!! I cannot recommend country properties shefford enough!! The entire process of selling and buying has been hassle free and extremely professional. The photos you receive are professionally taken meaning you already have a head start for selling. I sold instantly with no time wasters and multiple offers. Steph really goes above and beyond every single day. The customer service is outstanding. You always feel looked after and put first whilst selling your home/ buying. I have been lucky enough to sell and then buy through country properties because of their fast work and wouldn't go anywhere else again.

GoogleI have received the most appalling and unprofessional service from this company. The first potential buyer pulled out on the day the contracts were signed as they had not been able to raise the purchase price. At no time leading up to this were we made aware of his lack of finance. Once a sale was agreed we were not advised that there were actually four people in the chain and the bottom of the chain had pulled out. Having asked them to market the property they offered no regular updates at all, it was like trying to get blood out of a stone. On requesting an update I was told 1. Your buyer really keen to move 2. Nothing to report 3. Still chasing !! Who and for what?? On telephoning they were 'too busy' to take the call and 'too busy' to return the call. After phoning through the day I emailed and received an out of office message, have gone on holiday!! Towards the end the emails were not personalised, just statements which came across as arrogant and rude With only a few days left before the buyers mortgage offer was due to expire they seemed to wake up to the fact that they needed to do something. I would not recommend from my experience

GoogleMe & my partner dealt with Country Properties Shefford branch in March 2020, during the first major lockdown. Steph and Tayler helped us to find lovely properties and set up lots of viewings for us, we even put in an offer on a house we loved and wanted to buy. However, after having a Comprehensive Survey done the house had lots of issues me and my partner didn’t want to deal with, we then withdrew our offer. We had the right to withdraw our offer as we felt that there was to many different problems with that house. Country Properties were not happy that we withdraw our offer. Having a conversation with Steph, the manager, it was obvious she was livid and tried telling us that we were making a mistake. We kind of felt that she was bullying us not to withdraw. We stood our ground and told her to read the survey report, it stated the house had problems which we felt we didn’t want to take on. Both Steph and Tayler were clearly unhappy with our decision, which then lead to them ghosting us. We asked them to send us more properties, they said they would but never did. Fast forward to 2021, we managed to find our dream house, not through Country Properties, through another agent who acted like adults unlike staff at Country Properties. I wouldn’t recommend Country Properties Shefford, once they saw their commission float through the air after we pulled out of their deal, they spat their dummies out and stopped communicating with us. How childish and unprofessional are they. 👎🏾

Unfortunately this company cannot be trusted by Landlords . Having formulated a contract many years ago they recently tried to impose add additional costs which were not an acceptable change tour agreement . We subsequently decided to terminate our agreement because of this and incurred an introduction fee on our properties after many years of business . A bad experience .

GoogleI cannot thank Country Properties enough especially Debbie. I had sold my house and wanted to privately rent but because I wasnt working alot of agencies wouldn't deal with me even though I was paying in advance. I was getting so desperate with only 10 days to go till completion but no one would help until I phoned Debbie. She went to so much trouble showing me the house and getting everything sorted really quickly. This company has been by far the best letting agent I've had any dealings with, nothing is too much trouble. Would 100% recommend
