We sold our house with only one viewing thanks to Country properties understanding of the potential client base! We sold our house via Country Properties Shefford and couldn’t have had a better experience. Steph came round to value the property, and used her knowledge of the area and potential buyers to contact a family who were interested in a similar house to see if they would be interested in viewing it. They offered the full asking price which allowed us to move on with our house moving journey! Furthermore, we had some annoying legal stuff during our sale but Steph was fantastic in keeping the chain informed so everyone stayed in the chain. We got the full asking price and we are happy in our new home.

We would highly recommend Country Properties, Shefford, to anyone looking to sell their home. The whole process was exceptionally well managed from our initial sale, right through to our exchange of contracts. The whole Country Properties team were polite and informative when we called and always followed through on calls backs and actions as promise. Steph and the team were instrumental in keeping our chain informed and worked tirelessly to move the chain forwards. Steph and her team made such an impact on our chain that others in the chain commented on their excellent service and hard work! Moving house is never easy, but I can honestly say that the support we received from Country Properties got us through the process and we are extremely grateful. Country Properties and the whole team were by far the best estate agent we have ever used and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Lucy Kersey was very helpful in our search for our new home - nothing was too much trouble and often responded to emails outside her normal working hours - including weekends to organise viewings on our behalf. When looking for agents to sell our house, I immediately knew Country Properties were the team we wanted to go for. Steph was friendly, professional and knew her stuff - that hasn’t changed throughout our sale and if we were to move again I would go with them again, no question! The whole team were amazing, and I really feel like they took the time to listen to our requirements, so when they took on a house that was perfect for us they called right away - and they were spot on! We have so much to say about Country Properties. Steph valuated our property just after Covid. We put our property a new build home in Shefford up for sale in December '2022 Jamie sat with us and set up a price and with in a couple of months we sold our property. We also used Satchels from Shefford to sell our property. But both Steph and Jamie and the rest of the team were very professional and efficient with keeping us informed of the times the clients were going to view the property and who they were. We got feed back from them once every person who viewed the property. We used a solicitor Steph recommended and home removals she recommended. The solicitors were amazing and liaised via emails informing step by step the movements of each stage of the exchange documents etc. The home removals were very helpful and moved out my unwanted furniture too and price was very good. Both Steph and Jamie had a calm and polite manner as they spoke. Thank you both and for being so understanding and caring, very good customer service throughout. I would definitely recommend Country properties to you weather you are selling your house or buying. In future We will buy properties from Country properties. Thank you and keep up the good work.😊👍

The Shefford branch is outstanding! We purchased our property through Country Properties and Lucy was the negotiator who we dealt with. Whilst we were not her actual clients, the communication and flexibility were outstanding. When viewing houses, Lucy, unbeknownst to us, actually came in on her day off to show us around. When we found the house we wanted, it did not matter which member of the team we spoke to as whoever we did speak to knew exactly where our purchase was up to. Country Properties did an excellent job of helping me through a sale and purchase. They organised a huge amount of viewings and made them back to back where possible minimising inconvenience to my family. The sale went smoothly despite having trustees involved. When I started viewing houses I was encouraged to spend as much time as I needed in each property. On a second viewing they even offered to get some help when the loft ladder was jammed and I needed to check the size. Very helpful and friendly on the phone I am happy to recommend them.

I used to rent a property with country properties. During that time I interacted mainly with Debbie I found the whole experience deeply unpleasant. She seemed more concerned about making money for the landlord than about my experience as a tenant: it made me feel stressed and pressured. I also experienced them as unprofessional due to the lack of service that was available to me - what I mean by service is a welcoming attitude and kind approach, which would make me feel safe and supported to raise any concerns I might have. However, both members of the rental branch - Debbie and Hayley- made me feel I was a burden and every time I spoke on the phone it would be rushed. The usual line was ‘we’re about to go into a meeting’. This caused me much anxiety when I was living in Shefford, I couldn’t wait to move! My view of their behaviour whilst living in one of their properties was just confirmed when I had to call them unexpectedly because I accidentally sent a package to the old address and wondered if there was any way of getting the package to me. If not I enquired into whether it would be possible for them to ask their tenant to hold the package for me or see if I could be sent on. However I was told ‘that wasn’t possible’ and Debbie rushed me off the phone. She wouldn’t even ask for me. How is this a professional service and moreover how is this kind? Is kindness and civility not a part of managing a business for them? It seems not… I’ve dealt with and lived under the care of several different real estate agents and this was by the far the worst! The whole experience of living in a property is defined by the attitude and service real estate agent. Therefore, I wanted to warn future and would strongly recommend trying finding another real estate agent to help you if possible!

I have recently purchased a property through this agency and have nothing but good words to say about Country Properties in Shefford. Steph was handling the sale but I also dealt with Jamie and Lucy. Due to the nature of conveyancing, I was unable to speak to the seller or sellers solictor myself, but Steph (and Lucy in the final stages!) were absolutely fantastic at communicating between all parties and pushing things along. I never found it difficult to get hold of Steph - she is superbly efficent! Lucy played an absolutely integral part in getting the completion over the line when Steph was on (very well deserved!) leave, and I cannot thank them both enough. Should I come to let my property out in the future I will think of noone else to manage the letting than Country Properties. Thanks to all!
