We have just recently moved into our Dream home, which was all down to Sarah from Spencers! When we were outbid on the property which we originally viewed Sarah was in constant touch with us to alert us of any similar Properties coming to the market - one of which I am sat in right now! Not only this, but once the offer had been accepted and the rest in the hands of the Solicitors Sarah (& Lizzie!) from Spencers were constantly providing me with updates and chasing the Solicitors themselves to make sure the process was as quick and efficient as possible - Something I did not expect from an Estate Agents and something that certainly shaved weeks off of the entire duration of the process! When Sarah was on annual leave I dealt with Lizzie over the phone who knew the whole case back to back and constantly kept me updated - they are obviously a close knit team! Honestly cannot speak more highly of the whole Spencer’s team, especially Sarah and Lizzie. They were without exception polite, efficient and extremely diligent throughout a relatively complicated buying process. This is the second time in seven years we have used Spencer's to sell a house. The first time was an early Victorian property with great character but needing significant updating. We had 42 viewings over two months before an offer and then another five months before the buyers were able to complete (problems with their solicitor). Spencer's support throughout was excellent. The second time we sold a terraced property through them to first time buyers after the first viewing. As we were looking for a new property at the same time we saw lots of other agencies and we can say that Spencers were clearly the best of them. They are efficient, can be relied on and their communication skills are excellent. Unlike many other agents they actually listen to their clients and act on their wishes. I would highly recommend Spencers to anyone looking for an estate agent. Lizzie was brilliant - always happy to help and always got back to us quickly. She also knew many of the agencies we were working with so I felt in very safe and experienced hands in the process which most of us don't do very often! By far Spencer stand out as one of the best estate agents in Sheffield. They made the greatest impression from all the many viewings I had as a buyer which led to an extremely smooth purchase. There was no one else to consider for the sale of my house which again I had nothing but a positive experience. Lizzie was always ahead in terms of liaising with both my solicitor and the buyers and moved the sale along really swiftly. I did not feel I ever had to chase as Lizzie was already dealing with it and had a great rapport with us all which made it all so stress-free. We had a really good experience with Spencers letting department for our recent move. The property is everything it is advertised to be, and we were delighted that the bathroom floor was being re done before our move in date (without request). Although the signing/moving process was during COVID-19 restrictions, everything was done very quickly and efficiently by the estate agent Tom. Upon receiving our keys we were given a thorough briefing and the paperwork regarding the property, we felt that this was far more organised and clear than either of us have experienced through other companies. I cannot recommend Spencer highly enough for their very helpful, practical, swift and professional Lettings service . They are everything that a letting agent should be from the point of contact to the end of their service. I am a landlord and had been badly let down by another agency who were the complete antithesis of what Spencer are. I live 250 miles from Sheffield where my rental property is located, and had only about 24 hours in which to sort my tenant finding situation out. Chris Spooner, the negotiator/valuer arrived at the property within an hour of my initial call to Spencer. He gave a thorough and fair appraisal of the property and recommendation of price to ask. A few hours later I met with Lynne Braha and Tom Aspinal, who thereafter dealt with the matter. Within 2 - 3 working days, they found me tenants, and within 3 weeks they were in the property. Lynne and Tom were really helpful in every respect. If you are thinking of renting your property out in Sheffield, make Spencer your first stop.

I was selling my mother's house as she had gone into care - the usual stresses of house sale were therefore compounded by the circumstances.
