Parking fine

Quick to hand out fines. Parked on London Road at 5pm with my disabled grandad who wasnt feeling well to get him some water. He's diabetic and registered disabled had blue badge on display parked in a bay was gone 5 mins and hit with a 70 quid fine for parking in a "loading" bay. Even though it wasn't marked as one. Only had a bay outline wasn't marked with the words no loading. My advice avoid sheffield it's a been destroyed by govt greed. Council just looking to milk people dry. If your working you'll be paying 2k a month in council tax to get your bins taken once every 6 weeks and the roads are filled with potholes. Council are as much use as chocolate teapot.

I'm trying to register on the Council…

I'm trying to register on the Council Tax site. I have been successfull with log in, answered all the security questions correctly, but I'm not recognised and advised to try again and to request a PIN. Done that but no response. There does not seem to be any way of contacting someone through the site.

This council are racist and one-sidedTaking me to court for a injunction to do with people in my area plus NHS nurses from hell who work underneath my flat based in a district station, these horrible nurses are unprofessional and liars ever since they moved into this building below me they have made constant and delibrate noise affecting my quality of life , they do not seem to give a s... that I live above the office , arrive 7.30am start banging about , slamming doors constantly throughout the day , they made sarcastic and snidey comments and using ultra loud machines all day long until 6pm 7 days a week , they have made a lot of lies to make me look stupid when this goes to court siding up together just as I thought with their lies and crying in their statements how tough it is for them paying for petrol now they temporarily based at other offices until courtcase is over , Pretending they are scared of me to return funny they all depressed and on meds in their statements even the knobhead they used as security a short time lied saying his had nightmares and has got to see a counsellor the f..... idiot all I said was I wasn't scared of him ( what kind of security man is he ? ( really playing on it even using lies and hearsay from tenants in the area over other matters with other troublemakers ) also I was told from someone in another agency these cows already created problems in another residential area , the council they using crap from 1995 for a previous eviction and lie saying I have been causing issues every tenancy I have had when it's been others in the area that caused trouble first , they been around the area asking tenants how I have been behaving , but it's okay for others who caused problems with me to be ignored , in their view but listen to other people's lies ect to try make me look bad in court , be interesting to see what the judge thinks to their ways if not dealing with the issues I complained about but rather than deal with it they want take action on me , this council are horrible to the core !Nobody ever think to move to the estate at totleybrook because the tenants run to the council and chat everything you do to the whole estate proper snidey and sly twofaced people pretend to be friends then turn into snakes , you do one thing wrong the f..... up council are on your back, they don't deal with complaints at all especially if you are black .

I would like to thank my brilliant Sheffield city council plumbing department. I had a faulty kitchen radiator, with a couple of days a plumber came out, he quickly assessed my problem, changed the broken part, ordered a replacement unit. He then booked the new job. In a few hours I received a call from the team who efficiently booked my morning appointment for the unit replacement. Two days later my plumber Jon arrived. He was so polite & worked so hard but wasted no time. Within a few hours the job was complete. He tied everything up & took everything with him including the old unit & rubbish. I see many unnecessary complaints forwarded towards our council workers, they have a difficult often thankless job but I have always had positive experiences & I’m so grateful to have a lovely home with the support i need. Thank you all !! 10 ⭐️

Shocked at the state of Sheffield

I visited Sheffield recently and could not believe the state of the city. I was so shocked I could not wait to leave and I will never visit Sheffield again. Thankfully I don't reside there. The council should be ashamed of themselves. To make matters worst I then received a Clean Air Zone fine! Clean Air? Sheffield City Council need to wake up and look at the city, it is a dump!

Attacked on the streets and police ABSENT !!!!!

The safety on the sheffield streets is absolutely poor!!!! Been attacked by a BLACK PERSON in the middle of the street with an axe 🪓, meanwhile resting with my husband a few min on the street after walking our dog....we called immediately the POLICE and NOBODY CAME....totally EXPOSING US... I might be even pregnant (we still wait for the results 🤞...I might be in an early pregnancy) ....I told them that a man is attacking us and threatening us with an axe 🪓 and they were like keeping us at chatting about what is the name of the street for 5 minutes in string....I asked them why they do not access the GPS from my mobile phone, and they started to pretend that NOW I was some how a bad person FOR CALLING THE POLICE WHEN ATTACKED WITH AN AXE!!! I asked them if they want us to be killed or why they do not come straight, and wait so much at the phone doing nothing immediately 😒!!!!! I hope that those police officers that done nothing meanwhile WE HAVE BEEN TREATHENED LIKE THIS, MEANWHILE BEING MAYBE EVEN PREGNANT ...TO GO IN HELL!!!!! And us to have the right people doing service to the community, and cameras on the streets to keep us actually safe!!!!! That man who attacked us would have never been supposed to ever even come out to us, to myself with an axe!!! It to go in hell 5 million times!!!!! 😮☹️

AND, nearly 2 decades of trying to get help support, not had any, been convicted for using profanity labels for those involved with julie dore Kate sheldon et al getting away with hiding my child abuse..........because my father died from a train suicide in 1977. They hid that too......that's how they have exposed themselves, and their methodzz.......shame on you all, the cringe embarrassment must be a horrible feeling, but so what, howz 46 yrs of pain, knowing your dad was minced by British Rail train after I told at home, I was being abused by my sisters mother-in-law the deputy head of Abbey Dale 1st and middle school, made me such an Easy target, all my life............its not Palestine! Worse council in the UK

They lack communication with people who are using them or working with. They don't clean areas. Near Kelham island there is rubbish everywhere amd smashed glass on the side of road from 2 cars 7 months ago nothing done and there was a council van park 1oo yards doing nothing playing on his phone. They don't follow through repairs for people home they love to say we are low in budge but then boast about how much profit they've made since introducing the clean air zone. They waste more money on things e.g the shipment market that they over spent and then left. I also work on their behalf and the treatmeant from the resident's are disgusting. I generally feel sorry for anyone who has to use them you will be left in the dark.

Won't be visiting Sheffield again any time soon

I visited Sheffield for the first time recently. Looks like a nice City. I won't though be returning. I drove into the City and made the mistake of temporarily entering a bus lane. I was caught on camera and have been fined. I appealed the fine explaining that I was visitor; my mistake was temporary and that on a Sunday evening at 19:38 there was no driving advantage to me making the mistake.My appeal was rejected and I cannot take the chance to be fined again. I made the mistake. I acknowledge it. It was though a mistake.Sheffield City Council have discouraged me from visiting the City again. I won't be booking hotels, visiting restaurants, going to museums etc. Is this what a council should be doing for the City it represents?They have my details on record and I explained that if I ever made the mistake again, I'd gladly pay a fine. No, not sufficient. Of course no one likes paying fines but where I've clearly done wrong, I'll always pay. This though seems like the council are cashing in on a tourist who made a mistake.

I have lived at my current address…

I have lived at my current address since 2018.My next-door neighbours are the"NOSIEST"I have EVER had.Even in the EARLY stages I saw the elderly man next door watching me through the fence at the bottom of my garden.I yelled and he moved VERY quickly. So I knew EVEN THEN that I had a problem. One thing he HATES is for people who feed wildlife. So, as he watches me DURING the day, I started doing this at night/early hours.So, he installed a security light to deter me.He then had the arrogance to install a camera when his security light DIDN'T deter me. As I can't get an privacy, I dug - without his knowledge - six holes for fence posts in late June 2022.On July the 8th 2022 he saw me bring fence posts back.Then on the 11th of July he put an arrogant letter through my door at 10pm and woke me and OBJECTED to my plans to fit a fence.Yes, a NOSEY NEIGHBOUR who"THINKS"it is HIS business what I do in MY garden! I was startled when the letter came through my door as I thought someone was breaking in.So, when I read it my stress and anxiety levels were already SKY HIGH. So, I turned VERY nasty and abusinve and began shouting, swearing and slamming doors. I shouted and made it clear to keep his nosey out. But even after THIS, he appraoched me and tried provoking me. So I ignored the man. But he WON'T get the message to LEAVE me alone and that he is NOT wanted. I do my best to avoid HIM, but he simply won't"avoid"ME. We ALL have a limit and it is OUR choice of we WANT privacy and NOT to have anything to do with our neighbours. We ALL have that choice. Likewise, the fitting of a fence. I pointed out to the council that I needed them to issue warnngs to him. I also demanded that he be warned that the FILMING of someone's premises is ILLEGAL and to make him aware of this.I also demanded that his securty light be RE-positioned so as NOT to intrude into MY privacy and NOT illumuinate me up when I walk into MY garden at night. After all, the camera AND securty light WERE installed purely to keep me from using MY garden. Yes, MY garden for which I pay rent to use at ANY time of day and night! After all, no one likes to be spied on. I cannot tell you how intrusive it is to have a light come on as soon as I walk into MY garxden. And, then to see the camera "flashing" and starts to film when it DETECTS movements is akin a Prisoner of War having a search light watching them. I feel like a prisoner and I "avoid" my garden day and night. In August 2022 I hand-delivered a letter to Sheff ield council at the Town Hall in Sheffield & I gavde them a copy of HIS letter. I then posted one by recorded delivery as a safeguard about 20 mins later. BOTH were ignored.Can you imagine what it would like if EVERY nosey neighbour in the country OBJECTED to people who want THEIR privacy. We would have UTTER mayhem and it is the counci's responsibility to issue warnings and make these people aware to mind their OWN business and that EVERYONE is entitled to have privacy if they SO choose. EVERONE I have shown my neighbour's letter to has agreed with ME and said "WHAT THE HELL HAS IT GOT TO DO WITH HIM". So, why won't the council do the same?I suffer very HIGH stress and anxiety levels and am on ESA for my conditions. I HAVE to avoid stressful situations as I CAN turn nasty when provoked. But with a neighbour like this the ONLY way I can avoid this is to "HIDE" away like a prisoner. Yes, HE has free-reign whilst I stay inside for fear that he continues with HIS provocation.I am NOT at "risk" as he is a pensioner, but SOME pensioners CAN be worse than YOUNG people. After all, they "HIDE" beind their age and think it gives them PROTECTION.I used to have astronomy as a hobby and would sit outside during the night star-gazing.But as soon as I move my head,the light comes on and the camera is flashing.So I HAD to give this up. As well as issuing warnings about his camera and security light, I wanted the council to give me "OFFICIAL" permission (NOT that I need it) to fit my fence. By the way, this arrogant couple next door are the most anti-social people I have EVER lived next to and have woken and disturbed me thousands of times in four years. This is NOT an exaggeration. I HAVE to go to sleep with a DVD running or leave the radio playing CONSTANTLY otherwise the neighbours wake me up. This has happened since 2018. And, yet, the council "claim" they take anti-social behaviour SERIOUSLY. Whereas, ANYONE who rents from Sheff council will tell you, they DO NOT care. My life has been ruined for over FOUR years and I regret moving here. But the council will NOT let me have ANOTHER bungalow even though they will be getting BACK an "equialent" bungalow.So, ALL I can do is fit some privacy screening in the hope that it helps to encourage an EXCHANGE. After all, he watches EVERYTHING and it deters people who view my property. So why wont the council come down on MY side and HELP me? We NEED privacy

THEY IGNORE ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR

I have a VILE couple next couple door who interfere in every aspect of my life. Ive lived here since 2019 & a few months after I moved here I saw someone watching me thru the fence at the bottom of my garden.I couldn't INITIALLY make out his face as it was a dark silhouette.I yelled out when I saw this as I was infuriated and worried who it was spying on me.I had 2 people with me &(as I ran to my bedroom to try to get a better view to see"WHO"it was)I was told"THERE'S A MAN WITH A BLACK DOG RUNNING PAST".As I got to my bedroom window I just saw the dog disappearing to the side of my bungalow.I then went to myBACKdoor & looked thru my door viewer.To my disgust it was the nosey man from next door.My 2 witnesses verified it WAS him who they'd seen. On SUBSEQUENT occasions (whilst"IN"THEIR GARDEN")have BOTH even had the cheek to look over the fence&watched me"IN"my living room.So, I knew(even in the EARLY stages)that I had a major problem.So, INITIALLY,I put EXTRA lace curtains up to block their gaze.But I knew I DESPERATELY needed to install some privacy screening in my garden.It took me about 18 months to save up for this.They are SO nosey and watch EVERYTHING I do and even used to let their dog out to bark at me to deter me when I went INTO my garden.So, on the 22nd of June 2022 @ 4am I began digging the first of SIX holes for my fence posts.I did this with a trowel so as NOT to be heard.On the 30th of June I dug the sixth (and FINAL) hole.No one knew what I'd done as I did digging SILENTLY with a trowel.After all, had anyone heard me they WOULD have complained at the START.On WED 6 JULY I fetched 2 fence posts.On THUR 7th I fetched 2 more.But on Friday the 8th of July at 6am the problems started.I put food and water in the bird baths at 6AM.I noticed a hedgehog had fallen into one of the holes I'd dug.So, I picked it & gave it some pouched cat food.I then took it to the bottom of my garden and gave it a bowl of water.Was I hurting anyone or making any noise?No! They then opened the door to let their dog out to bark at me as they HATE me feeding wildlife.They are SO nosey & "THINK" what I do is in"MY"garden is THEIR business.Before I fetched the FINAL"TWO"fence posts I stacked the existing 4 so that I could put the final TWO on top.The nosey people next door were watching me! Anyway,when I went to buy the last two fence posts they were seen looking over my fence&when I returned,the female next door came out to watch me and saw me lowering the fence posts OVER my fence.They had NOT been aware that I had dug these holes.But, being vindictive,this is what then happened. 3 days later(MON 11th July at 10PM!)I was woken by a noise at my door.I panicked,thinking a burglar was breaking in.I found a letter had been put thru my door.It was from next door sticking his nose in & OBJECTING to a fence.He then accused me of disrupting HIS sleep patterns.It was purely VINDICTIVE to get back at me for digging the holes WITHOUT his knowledge as he"THINKS"I NEED his permission!! The infuriating was that I have been woken&disturbed by these TWO clowns since 2019 & have NOT had a decent sleep since I moved in.Not to mention the THOUSANDS of times I've been disturbed by"GENERAL"bangs I've had to tolerate since 2019.Yes, THOUSANDS.I've been woken,morning,noon&night since 2019.So, when I read his letter accusing"ME"of disrupting HIS sleep patterns I erupted.I was swearing,shouting,slamming doors&banging on the wall yelling to to keep their noses out. His letter was SO provocative and was SO "dictatorial"&arrogant.His letter said "YOU SAID YOU WERE GOING TO FIT A FENCE"BELOW"(NEXT TO THE FOOTPATH").Yes,I WAS (INITIALLY) planning this.But when their nosey nature got TOO much,I changed my mind.That's MY choice! But he "THINKS" it's HIS business what"I"do in MY garden. Amongst OTHER lies & provoking comments in his letter he even had the arrogance to tell ME that If I DO fit a fence it"MUST BE HIGH STANDARD"as if its HIS business!! As I said, I literally erupted when you consider the anti-social behaviour I'd tolerated since 2019.I've NEVER lived next to LOUDER more ignorant people who bang about INCESSANTLY.Anyway,I'd never complained about them PREVIOUSLY due to BOTH being pensioners.But enough-is-enough.So, fearful what I'd do if he CONTINTUED provoking me,I hand-delivered a letter to Sheff Council at the Town Hall in Sheffield on August 13th 2022.I also(as a safeguard)POSTED a letter.BOTH got ignored.Its the council's responsibilityto issue warnings about noise-nuisance&anti-social behaviour. I also want permission for my fence.But they ignore letters.So, Ive avoided my garden for fear I will snap & turn nasty or WORSE.So,I live like a PRISONER. Anyway,I'm fitting my fence whether the council like it or not.We're ALL entitled to privacy from HORRIBLE neighbours!! HORRIBLE COUNCIL!

Should be no stars!! absolutely appalling "service" by Registry staff! simple request of copy of birth certificate, clearly staff inept at their work, do not adhere to their stipulated timescales! Inability to even to speak to any member of staff, no one takes phone calls!!!! they should be held to account and management take responsibility for their diabolical work ethic and customer service! Moral of the story is when paying for a copy do NOT expect it to be delivered within their stipulated time frame! Yet another SCC "service" which works to the beat of their own drum!!!

Ex Brothel temporary accomodation

Provided a temporary accomodation in a racist area. Worst of all the property was an ex BROTHEL!!!! I was FUMING as I have twins aged 3 and my husband who is not well!!!! We had groups of MEN asking if we wanted business 2am/3am at night and disturbed my twins! They shouted women's names and the letters posted were the names they were shouting. It's disgusting to know they would do that to a family. We reported to police. And when I told temp accommodation about the incident they THEN said it's not safe for you guys to live there!!!! So they took us out to put us in a drug abuse and unhygienic apartment which they then claim it's a "family" apartment lots of families living there. All I saw were drug users, beggars, urine smell and drug smell coming from there. And even after complaining to them about that they refused to help us move out!!! So disappointed in Sheffield Council, Sheffield Housing, Sheffield temporary accomodation teams!

What an appalling service

What an appalling service. Called on behalf of my sister who had lost heating in her home, after she had attempted to contact them for someone to come out 3 times! Each time they told her to call her energy provider, we googled the fault code on the boiler and it said it was an issue with the ingnition/flute that requires an engineer. She has a toddler with heart condition and having explained this to the woman representing SCC who was extremely condescending questioned me 'having no heating affects him'? Yes indeed it does! She said it's not their policy to send someone out and to call after 8am tomorrow morning. This obviously got me riled up to which she then had the audacity to say I was being aggressive. Apparently a child with a heart condition is not classed as an emergency and because I repeated to her that it was she terminated the call. I attempted to call a further 3 times and she put the phone down each time. We have gotten no where, SCC really need to review the heartless beings that lack basic empathy to represent them in such emergency situations especially in freezing weather conditions. When I said I would escalate this , she cleverly said feel free. Wow, just wow. She wouldn't provide her name but I'm sure calls are recorded so I will be complaining in morning.
