We recently had to sell our family home which our parents had lived in for 59 years. From the very 1st meeting with Yvonne I knew that they understood and were sensitive to the reasons we were selling and both Yvonne and Lola gave us great advice from the start. Lola was our ongoing contact and showed the buyers round, within days we had several interested parties and it sold very quickly and at a really good price. I am confident Lola's friendly and professional way with us and the potential buyers secured the quick sale. Would highly recommend Haybrook's at Hillsborough.

I am so happy that I decided to go with Haybrook to sell my property. The photos and video tour were organised promptly and professionally and were done to such a high standard (thank you Christina and Rad). Lola dealt with the day to day sale of the house and she was incredible. Always on top of speaking with the relevant parties and always available to help or answer a quick question. The communication from Haybrooks…

The communication from Haybrooks Chapeltown is dreadful. In Chapeltown, there is a small team with a manager Emma, and Michael, the assistant manager. Michael sold my house, which wasn't a brilliant experience as he made minimal effort to write an appealing writeup to sell my property. However, this isn't my main complaint. I have a property rental business and looking to expand my portfolio. I reached out to Michael via email a couple of months ago to discuss my plans but didn't receive a reply. I bumped into him in the local Tesco car park a few days later, and I mentioned the email, which he confirmed that he had received, and he suggested he would reply.I waited a couple more weeks and sent an email reminder but no reply. Then two weeks later, I sent a third email using the same email trail to ensure I sent it to the correct email address. Again no reply! I called their office and got through to their triage phone service. No reply! Then I finally got to the office and complained about the lack of replies. The lady I spoke to was Emily, who seemed offended that I dared to complain and reluctantly had the manager call me back. I talked through my requirements with Emma and asked her to get Michael to call me back. No reply! Today I called the office again and spoke to Michael. He said that he hadn't replied because I was rude to Emily!Furthermore, my requirements didn't match his role within the business. I assumed that my looking to acquire several properties from an assistant manager responsible for selling properties on behalf of Haybrooks was a good starting point. However, I was wrong. Emma did give some helpful advice and suggested that their rental management was poor as Hillsborough managed it. She referred me to one of their competitors who solely deals with rental management in Ecclesfield.

Me and my husband rented a house using Sheffield lettings. We had a great experience and great service, mainly with our case dealt Chloe, she is absolutely amazing, nothing is too much trouble for her and she was there to answer all the questions or concerns we had.Thank you Chloe!!! Haybroken, Avoid at All Costs

Weeks can go by without a single reply from this management company. Don’t bother trying to call, it's impossible to get through. You'll find out that the people managing your property have left only through out-of-office replies. My tenants have repeatedly complained about unresolved issues, and jobs that the company charges for go unaddressed for months.I made an official complaint based on a years worth of evidence - they care not.The company routinely blames staff turnover but refuses to accept any liability for their failures. Rent is often late, and I have had to inform them myself. They take 10% of your earnings but do 0% of the work. To make matters worse, they recently updated their terms, changing the notice period from four weeks to a staggering four months if you try to leave.This is a disgusting company that prioritizes profit over service. There are many better rental management companies out there, do yourself a favour and read the recent reviews. The Directors should be ashamed of these reviews but clearly do not care. Avoid this company at all costs.
