I just wanted to pass on my thanks to Joanne McCarthy and Elle Slade for the ongoing professional support and advice I’ve received as I’ve progress through the buying process. As an investor, it’s really important to work with Agents who understand the needs of both the seller and the buyer and can effectively communicate between the two parties. Joanne and Elle certainly do and are always very professional and efficient in responding to information requests and key questions I need answering throughout the process.

Got cold call from these randomly

Got cold call from these randomly, don’t know where they got my number from, telling me my house was up for sale, when it wasn’t and have no intentions of it being for sale, fuming. Woman at the other end of the phone couldn’t care less, what I want to know is, where did they get my private number from If I ever put my house for sale it wouldn’t be with this company Only gave 1* because I had to AVOID AVOID AVOID

An insight into Haybrook’s methods.

I’m confused, I’ve used PurpleBricks to sell my house who have posted it on Right Move and On The Market yet I’ve had cold calls from Haybrook only two days after asking me to sell with them. It went live midnight in the Thursday yet one call came two days later on the following Saturday and another from a different person on the Monday. The confusion is that I thought cold calling on mobile phones was something that took place 20 years ago! At least it’s probably around that time it last happened. No other estate agent does this, why does Haybrook? Bad form….. check you’re going with a reputable company before using Haybrook. Not recommended.

Best agency in town!

Our first experience renting a house in England was with Haybrook and i can’t be thankfull enough for How good and quick they do they’re job. We keep contact with agency and landlord through Katie Woodhead and she is a star, the agency is very lucky to have her! I’ve heard horror stories about letting agents from friends and so assumed all were the same however Haybrook Sheffield have been incredible any issue we’ve had they’ve fixed it as soon as they were alerted to the issue, most recently we were without water due to an old part on the overflow tank I rang them and within a few hours they had sorted a plumber to come out the same day! If anyone is looking to rent in Sheffield i couldn’t recommend a better letting agents! Particular shoutout to Meg for sorting the friendliest plumber in Sheffield

Rude and no communication

So I know no one has high hopes for estate agents but I really did not think they would be this unprofessional. I cannot imagine another agency not communicating with each other and be so disorganised as this branch. I called to put an offer in to a house and a gentleman took my details. Yet when my husband followed up with it, apparently I magically didn’t phone/ it didn’t exist. If you ever have the displeasure to deal with Nicola Siddall please avoid. She only acts in the interest of the vendors and offers no solutions despite buyers being just as valuable in the process as vendors. She is just very rude in general and will badger you. I guess be aware of all of this if you have to choose these estate agents. Take your business elsewhere otherwise or ask for another agent.

We have just purchased a house through Haybrook Swinton, and they have been AMAZING! We're not even their customer, only the buyer. Nicola has gone out of her way to fit me in for viewings, at the last minute, and even when she should have been leaving for the day, she met me at a property. Total commitment and very high standards but also very friendly and caring, nothing has been too much trouble. An assett to the company.I would totally recommend Haybrooks Swinton. Reviewing at 1 star for this misleading piece of junk mail claiming to have a buyer interested in my house that is currently up for sale. A couple of minutes on the phone with the Hillsborough office revealed this not to be true and just an attempt to come and value my house with a view to taking over from my current agent.

Our house on sale with a different…

Our house on sale with a different estate agent but keep getting calls every 2 days from haybrook asking if we want to sell with them I have said not atm our house only been up a couple of weeks then this morning 11th sept I got a call say I had requested a valuation on our house from them I never did this getting silly now haybrook know when you go with an estate agents that you are tied in for 20 weeks and believe me im not happy about that too 20 weeks not good anyway haybrook stop calling me I will contact you if I need to stop touting for business

Stay far far far away

They do not deserve a STAR. If you want to live long without hypertension avoid this company. The rude lot of them are unprofessional. Lived in a property through them, had my fence collapse and sit on the floor for 6 months. They dont pick up or return calls. They act like they are doing you favours. They lie through their teeth. They truly are scum. I beg you, if you ever see them signposted on any property run as fast as your legs can carry you. I promise you your regrets start instantly.You’re better off being homeless than to rent through this terrible company. Utterly shameless. I hope they’re out of business soon. We are selling our first property so were very new to the whole process and quite nervous.Bianca came to value the property and we instantly knew they were the right people to help us.We liked their honest approach and the flexibility they offer to people that are selling the property through them. The house has been on the market for a week and it's already sold for higher than the guide price.Good advice throughout the viewing and bidding process and always happy to help with any queries we had.We plan to say in our next house for decades but if I were looking to buy or sell a property, they would be the first people we would go to.

2 years worth of failings

2 years worth of failings Staff leave and don’t pass on We paid for a fully managed service renting out our property but had no one managing our property, made many formal complaints all emails ignored repeatedly. Was paid significant compensation and promised things would get better they havnt and are now increasing fees Iv been told only 2 people manage 500 property’s and they can’t cope and staff leave weeks after starting This company Lettings department is a disaster please do not use
