Fantastic company, they were amazing from start to finish. I’ve used many estate agents in the past, but Evans Lee is without a doubt, the best, and by a long, long way. Simon Lee is a true expert and delivered a sale price that was way above the asking price. Even during lockdown, Simon literally worked miracles and went above and beyond to keep the deal intact when the solicitors seemed determined to make the conveyancing phase painful and slow. He kept the momentum going and single-handedly got the sale over the line. From experience, I know that I would not have had that level of service from any other estate agent. We have just completed the sale of a friends house (she has now moved to the North East and needed a Sheffield based person to act on her behalf). The house is in need of extensive repair renovation and we thought that selling it, particularly with the challenges of a pandemic was going to be an onerous task. But not for Simon Lee... We were impressed with Evans Lee's service from start to finish. From viewing the house that we have ended up buying to having them value and sell our house with astonishing speed the process was professional throughout. Of particular note was the fact that, when showing us round the house we ended up buying, they had the answers to all of our questions and it felt like they really made the effort to get to know the houses they sell. This was also clearly the case with our own sale which went through quickly after a handful of viewings. Finally, a real positive for us, was the way they were always available on the phone. Ignored all parties involved and I ended up sorting it all myself and paying them a lot of money for that privilege. Next time I will save my money. A rare rare thing. An estate agent business we trust. We have purchased our last house (Jan 18) through Evans Lee and the process was simple, efficient, honest and open. The whole bid/offer/wait/phone call/wait merry-go-round did not happen when we bought. Here's a price, here's an offer, bought. Done. Simple. Having bought in Sheffield before, my experience of the other local estate agents is one completely lacking in trust (as a buyer), especially with regards to the offer process. We have since used the letting service to let out our house through them and again would recommend them. Quick, efficient, friendly, professional, and full of useful advice to get a first-time landlords ready to let their property.

I have used Evans Lee for managing a rental property for several years. They have provided an excellent service from day one. All the staff are friendly and eager to help whenever I contact them and have never failed to sort out any issues that have arisen. I am very happy that we chose Simon to sell our large house in Broomhill. He is fun but professional to deal with and has the energy and 24/7 commitment that I admire. He and Amy actively sold the house unlike any other agent I have used who have all been passive. He knew people who were searching for properties to buy like ours and approached them and he tapped into his wide network; we discussed the tactics to be used with everyone who came to view and he led all the first viewings whilst we kept out of the way. His admin is quick and efficient, he always answers the phone and he positioned the deal and secured it very well. We received very good customer service and he made us feel we were the only clients he was representing. In a nut shell we chose him because he has the business acumen, personality and drive to be respected by the type of professional person who was likely to buy our house - and he delivered. I am glad we did not chose the well known agency who sells large houses in SE Sheffield, like we did 10 years ago, because I enjoyed our experience and think we achieved a much better deal than we would otherwise have done.

This is the first review I have ever written, I felt the need to write it due to the first class service I have been given by Simon and Amy at Evans Lee. A rental property I have became vacant and within 24 hours of the property being advertised Amy had shown a prospective tenant around, then seamlessly took an application from her. She then kept me updated via phone calls of the progress of the application and the tenant is now due to move in, less than 3 weeks since the first viewing.I would strongly recommend using EvansLee and will not hesitate to use them myself again in the future.5 Stars well deserved, I owe Amy and Simon both a drink!
