It’s not often to find an agent so efficient, down to earth and clearly at the top of their game! Simon, Amy and team have a hands on approach that is just so refreshing! They sold the house in less than a week for exactly what they predicted it would sell for and have followed up really well. They have also rented out our home and given us complete confidence that the house will be looked after and managed effectively. The compliance team’s efficiency is staggering. Never had a moments stress, Simon exudes confidence and then delivers. Can’t fault them..thougroughly recomend them..far better than some of the big firms that seem to have lost that personal touch. In an industry awash with chancers, con-men and those economical with the truth, Simon is a breath of fresh air. No nonsense, to the point and straightforward in my dealings with him, I found him a refreshing change to some of those I have dealt with in previous house purchases and sales. On a visit to Sheffield for a viewing, he even went to the trouble of dropping me off at the station to catch my train back to London. A decent gesture, reflecting the personal touch of this family-owned and run estate agency. The process of buying a house with Evans Lee was clear and to the point - no nonsense about dealing with their preferred financial advisors or lies about having to be pre-approved before you can make an offer, 'to check your financial viability', as you may find with some of the larger agents in Sheffield. I would thoroughly recommend Evans Lee - when I come to sell my house, I will be asking Simon to handle the sale.

Today is a red letter day as we have just managed to sell my mother's flat after more than a year of protracted negotiations. I think I would have torn my hair out long ago without Simon's sensible but amusing take on life in general and the business of buying and selling houses in particular. I am sure he will be glad not to have to climb over the wall to access the property ever again! Above and beyond the call of duty and an indication of his approach to his business. Over the last couple of years, we have used Evans Lee to sell a house and to rent an apartment. All the team are great to deal with - straightforward and no nonsense. I would definitely recommend them.

It was the communication and positive support that made the difference. Simon was quick, responsive, no nonsense and very helpful - not just in the sales process up front but right to the end. He just got the job done and couldn't do enough for us during a busy time for our family. One meeting, a few documents and the house sale was agreed in a week for the price we wanted. Simon also helped us arrange solicitors, removals and IFA assistance - all with independent references so we were comfortable with those suggestions. You deal with the owners of the business with Evans Lee and not an impersonal 'computer says no' empire as with the others. Would recommend to anyone in Sheffield/surrounding areas without hesitation.

My siblings and I had to sell my mother's house. It was a horrible time, but Simon and his team were hugely understanding and compassionate. They were efficient, thorough and always friendly: nothing was ever a problem. We had a few bits of messing around towards the end with both sides' solicitors, but Evans Lee protected us from a lot of the legal work that went on behind the scenes near completion. What's more, we sold the house for over the asking price after having three offers. Simon always steered us in a sensible direction on this and listened to us when we wanted to hang on a bit longer! I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Evans Lee if you are looking for a professional team with personality and consideration. They know the market and they understand the individual needs of sellers.

Following the deaths of my father and grandfather I sold three properties through Evans Lee in a nine-month period. The first property (Beauchief) sold in four days and the others (Greystones and Dore) within two weeks of being marketed. I have nothing but praise to heap upon Simon and Amy whom I appointed to sell these properties after finding myself impressed by their approach when they showed me round a property in Fulwood early in 2013. Not only did they keep my son entertained while I viewed the property, more importantly they set themselves apart from the crowd by choosing not to apply the tedious standard estate agent phrases designed to place pressure on the viewer and extract an offer. Throughout the processes of selling the three properties Simon was available whenever required and dealt with all aspects of the sales, which made for a streamlined and stress-free experience. I was also impressed by his willingness to conduct viewings on my behalf when I was unavailable, and to do such viewings at a time that suited the viewer. Having seen him provide a viewing previously I knew I could trust him to present the properties in the best possible light, which indeed he did; sales were secured on the Greystones and Dore properties immediately following viewings he conducted. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending the services of Evans Lee and would unquestioningly use them again.
